Going there may be a little bit difficult with big luggage because you have you drag it by yourself along the rough stone road to the Hostel because it is located in the tourist site. But after checking in, you can go out and start taking photos and blend into the atmosphere of old town right away and that's good!. Room is nice, clean, convenient enough and equipped with enough facilities for the price. The Hostel owner (Mr.Christian Balosin) is very friendly, kind and super service-minded. Recommended!

Nice hostel”

A very nice hostel, the room was super spacious, clean and the location is superb. The only downside was the staff is not so friendly. If you want some place nice and you can bare with no smile from the staff... this is a very nice place

Comfortable stay”

Stayed in mixed dorm. Place is very clean, staff friendly, location is in the middle of town, near restaurants and supermarket, able to walk to the castles too (5km away). No kitchen for guests but nonetheless really loved the place.

Breakfast was many and great, also not expensive. I would recommen every one to try. Room was well designed and there was soft music in the lobby. The only downside is that the bathroom for men was kinda small, it would be occupied in the morning for a long time.

Good place to stay but not suitable for those with big luggage”

Nice place to stay. Toilet and bathroom a little bit small. Not suitable for big body size person. No lift in the building. You have to carry luggage to go up. Not suitable for big luggage traveler. Other than that, staff is friendly and helpful, room and bed is comfortable, breakfast is good!

Old Kings hostel ”

I stayed only one night with my wife, but this hostel was a great location! It's a small place, with only a few rooms, but is so worth it. The staff were amazing, and super helpful and insightful! They told us about a fairly easy hike to the castle that has amazing first time views! I would highly recommend to anyone!

Location of hostel is great and the owner is really helpful. Note that the twin room is pretty small and the toilet is shared.

Friendly staff”

(1) Very friendly staff and speaks fluent, no accent English. (2) Clean and stylish (8-bed) room. (3) Only a few toilets and bathrooms, shared by almost all the guests in this hostel. (4) I informed them early (1 week ago) that i may arrive late at around 10:30pm, but they only offer a local/mobile number at the entrance. Just wondering what happens if i didn't have a local mobile number.

Cozy guest house”

stayed there for 2 nights and get to know travellers from different countries. Have a nice chat with them. the owner is conscious about the cleanliness. which the hostel has been keeping well.

I absolutely loved staying at Old King's it was such a cozy room, right in the middle of the old town. the staff was very friendly for breakfast. It's a terrific value!

Excellent staff, good location, nice room”

We stayed at this hostel for 2 nights and it was wonderful, the highlight was the staff.. Super friendly and one of them had a golden retriever :) cheap beer and cozy environment :)

Great stay for an evening or two ”

We had a great stay in Fussen at this cute little hostel. The staff was tremendously helpful and accommodating. It is in a wonderful location for getting into town at the train stop and getting to the castles at the bus station. Very clean. The bed was a little uncomfortable but we slept like rocks anyways. Overall great stay for a good price!

In the center of old town next to lots of restaurants, shops yet quiet. Provide free transport card to bus service to castles. Great value for $$
