At the entrance to the hotel, all guests must remove their shoes. All of them, without fail. This is because all hotels are like Japanese residences, where you take off your shoes and relax. At the entrance, the staff carefully cleans the tires of guests' suitcases. This is to keep the hotel floor clean. The tatami-like floor was comfortable. The hot springs are wonderful and there is a sauna.

The powers of the onsen ”
The Onsen was great for taking away my aches after a long day of walking. The effects where quite evident after I moved to another hotel without an Onsen. I also liked that the hotel had a no shoes policy. Shoes are placed at lockers at the front so it was really clean in the hotel. Most people had masks too. Breakfast spread was incredible with a huge variety. The spread was the same everyday though

Great local hotel with big onsen facilities ”
Onyado is part is the Dormy Inn chain. It is located within walking distant from Kyoto main station. The breakfast is great you can eat all the shashimi, ikura, scallops you want. The onsen facilities is large. Room are compact and comfortable has all the features you will expect. Is also very clean as all shoes are left at the lockers at the hotel lobby and the staff will clean every bag before you bring into the hotel. They even serve complimentary udon and ice cream every night.

Best Hot Spring Experience in Japan ”
The location is close to Kyoto station with around 6 to 10 minutes walking distance. The staffs are so friendly and helpful. The hotel is full of tatami. So we have to put our shoes in the locker provided before check in to the hotel. Anyways, it’s so wonderful experience with Onsen experience. The breakfast is so rich with variety of food such as scallops rice, fresh sashimi, fresh scallops, and etc. Recommend you to purchase their breakfast.

Lovely hotel ”
I booked a 4 nights stay and enjoyed it. The check in process is quick . The hotel is very nice and clean. Love the shoe-less concept . You leave your shoes in the locker by the lobby . They provided lots of amenities such as laundry room, massage chair, sample snacks, room air purifier, and hot spa although we didn’t use (it’s always seems busy especially at night ).The hotel is about 7 minute walk to Kyoto station. We booked with no daily cleaning but they provided us clean towels every day. The soaps provided are great quality in my opinion . I would stay at this hotel again . It’s a very relaxing place after long days of walking from exploring Japan.

A no shoe policy. Hotel is sparkling clean with great onsen and free ramen. Easy walking distance to restaurants and convenience store. A huge paid parking just right next to. Only drawback is onsen can be crowded cuz it’s a crowded hotel.

This hotel is clean with large room and great facilities! There are free ramen and cup noodles at night. Free ice lolly with be provided after hot spring. The hot spring is good with nice temperature and it has different varieties of hot spring. Can’t believe this nice hotel price is that good! I will definitely come again when I go to Kyoto again!

Convenient Location & Decent Onsen Hotel”
What I like most of this hotel is you can walk bare feet on tatami since you step in the hotel! Other than that would be the so convenient location, the free ice-cream and ramen after onsen, and the free massage chair and the decent onsen facilities, I definitely recommend this hotel!

Close to train and bus stations and w many good restaurants nearby. Onsen is the main reason why I picked this hotel and it is very satisfying. Staffs are helpful. I like the idea that shoes are not allowed into the hotel. Room is the standard small size in Japan. Only thing I don't like is mattress is too soft

Highly recommend in Kyoto ”
One of the best hotel that i will recommend if staying in Kyoto. Location is great because it is not far away from Kyoto station. Breakfast variety and Onsen facilities with some noodles soup and ice stickers are the most popular for all the guests. Room is not very big but it’s warm and enough spaces for any guests. Definitely will stay here next time when visit Kyoto…. Thank you.
