Pros: - just two stations to Shinsaibashi - 20 mins walking distance to Osaka castle - newly opened in 2018 - convenient store just opposite to the hotel - free onsen, noodles, wine and beer - great breakfast: with steak and okonomiyaki - free bicycle rental for first 2 hours - free shuttle bus to shinsaibashi and namba before 12nn Cons(not really related to the hotel itself): - too many mainland Chinese tourists - the closest metro exit near the hotel doesn’t have any lifts

Group of 3, stayed during 21/9/17 - 24/9/17, Superior Triple. Location: Osaka-jo koen Station (Approx 5 mins walk to Hotel) Hotel room was very spacious, Service by the staff are great. Even took extra measure to guide the way to room, introducing places in hotel and where to get ice for cold drinks. Room has a mini walk-in wardrobe that has some hangers, luggage holder and a safe inside. Toilet are well equipped with 3 sets of amenities and hair dryer. Main area has sofa set, working desk, TV, mini refrigerator, some alcohols and drinks, beds. Area is very spacious, 3 (24" luggage) all opened up at once and there are still plenty of space to move around. Some items in the room can start up slowly like the kettle and the air con. Takes awhile for the kettle to boil water, air con may start up slower and temperature adjust can be slow too. Nearby the hotel, it has Lawson and Starbucks towards Osaka Castle direction, and towards the business district, more stores can be found. Food can be found around the same area. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay here, Pro: Close to Osaka-jo koen station(Osaka Loop Line), those who are using JR pass, this allows you to make full use of your pass, Spacious, polite and friendly staff, Con: Slow start up of kettle and air con.

Small room, but clean and nice. Perfect location - just walking distance from Osaka castle. Entrance to underground being located at the hotel entrance allows to travel everywhere fast and easy. Breakfast was good, but rather Japanese style, so not too good if you are not ready to eat exotic food in the morning. Nice and comfortable onsen was a great place to relax after the long day. And it was opened at least until midnight! There was even Finnish sauna!

Spacious room in Osaka. Convenient shops and fast food shops are within walking distance. Osaka Castle is just a good 5-minute walk away. Kyobashi station is also a 5-minute walk away in the opposite direction and there is direct train to Kyoto. A mobile phone is given in each room with free internet access and local calls. You may take the phone outside with you during your stay in the hotel. Best choice in Osaka if you don't mind taking some time to travel to the major shopping areas.

Great location, near to Kyobashi train station and surrounded by restaurants, family marts and shopping malls (Aeon Mall and Keihan Mall). Spacious and clean family room with breakfast included (choice of either American or Japanese). Hotel management staffs were friendly and helpful,especially Madam Sadako who even gave us a quick night tour to nearby Osaka Castle area and Taiko-En including a ride round Midosuji Street. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay at the hotel and would likely return should we visit Osaka again.

I got this studio apartment at a discounted rate which is almost similar to the popular backpackers. The service is great as well. We reached the hotel early and we left our luggage at the concierge. Although they close after 8pm, they offered to send our luggage to our studio apartment so that we do not need to rush back to get collect our luggage. The location is near to a subway station and near to the Osaka castle museum as well. The reception had various information including eateries and convenience stores nearby (loved the 100 yen grocery shopping....). They also offer the Osaka castle entrance ticket at discounted price. Staffs are friendly and able to converse in english. There is even very cheap umbrellas (albeit not free) available for sale.

We a great stay at the apartment. Happy with the location, very close to Osaka Castle and subway stations for farther afield, with the local restaurents super. The owner of the property and Agoda need to work together on directions and instructions to find the property. We located it after receiving incredible help from local residents. Local businessmen who postponed their evening gathering, the tobacconist who provided local knowledge and the precinct policemen with his maps and torch. The puzzle ? The apartment has a different name from the building it is located in. The key to the apartment was inside a security padlock which in turn was inside a wall safe and the entrance securely locked. Each of these had combination locks. The businessmen managed to contact the agent who provided the combination numbers. Without them we would not have found the building let alone gain access. They stayed with us until they were sure we understood the combinations......tremendous job given they did not speak English. The stay was great. The local residents were fantastic and their help was one of highlights of our trip. But we were pretty close to checking into another hotel and I imagine others might not get a lucky as us. So work needed on the instructions to find and gain access to the apartment. I feel Agoda shoulders the responsibility to ensure this happens.

+ check-in until 24.00 + you don't have to make your own bed (like some other hostel) + room, toilet, shower are clean + 8 people female dorm is spacious enough for 8 people with suitcases or huge backpack, also convenient for Muslims to pray + huge mirror (2 of them!) in the room + free yukata! + cute room design + free bath + face towel, and they change them everyday! + kacchuu & goemon buro (sadly I didn't get a chance to try them, but not hostel fault! It's just happen that I somehow can't fit it in my 5 night stay) + location near Kyobashi Station (JR, Keihan, & Subway) + free laundry machine (including detergent ball n dryer)! This is what i think is super amazing since every other hostel uses coin laundry - you can hang your clothes on your room balcony to dry, but the door to the balcony only opens a few inches so it almost impossible for people to pass through - sink is very noisy - room door is very heavy and so if you're not careful can close itself fast and (like the sink) very noisy - staff is ok, they are polite & ready to help, but no more than that - I think there's an activity in the lounge during my stay but I have no idea it happened until I saw the photo dated 8 Oct 17 on the lounge wall. The staff should give more info about the hostel activity to the guest. - The hostel seems to draw guests who arrive late at night, so even though my room is full almost all the time I stayed there, everytime I came back, my room and my entire floor is eerily quiet. It bothers me because after a long day of exploring Osaka, I'm too tired to go 4 floor down the stairs to the lounge. And I actually have private activities to do, like transferring photos from my camera, etc (so I don't necessarily need to mingle with people) but it just weird to be alone in a room with the other 7 beds empty for a few hours every night. It won't be a problem if you are the type who only needs the room to sleep though. - safety deposit box is not inside the room, it's on t

Best feature of the hotel is its location - very close to train stations on two main lines in Osaka; very close to convenient stores, mall and restaurants; close to Aqua Bus Stop/Station and Osaka Castle. Room is small, but expected; layout was perfect to still have room to move around. Hotel staff were very kind and accommodating to my queries (which were a lot). I would recommend though for the hotel to have a ramp to enter the lobby for guests with heavy luggage. Also, please have the smoking area a little farther from the entrance door to the lobby. It triggered my allergies every time I passed by the area.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, it was definitely worth the money and would come back again if I could. The whole room was very clean and modern, my favourite part was the bathroom where they had a shower with 3 different types of nozzles for showering! One was a big one over your head, then there was one which you could hold yourself and a third one which was like a heavy, fine mist, it was amazing, I could've showered in there for hours. Definitely think this hotel is targeted more towards businessmen and people looking for a bit more luxury than your average hotel. It's inside a building with a mall so you can pop down into the mall for shopping and food. There is also parking on the 5th floor, so if you park there, make sure you show your parking ticket to the staff at the front desk so they can give you some kind of a discount on your parking fare. It's very close to Osaka castle by train. Heaps of different types of restaurants and shops all around, but be warned, if you have a Mastercard with you from overseas and are looking to get cash out, you'll find it impossible to find an ATM that will accept your card. Went searching for a couple hours and came up with nothing.

I stayed in a superior room, which cost $200 a night. So to start off - yeah, this hotel has some pretty cool features in it. It isn't often that you get to have a pool in your own room, let alone having a room that is that size in Osaka is rare. There are saunas in each superior room, big bathtubs with TV's, big beds, big TV's, plenty of space, adjustable mood lighting and music, and quality bathrooms. Some of the rooms look pretty cool as well, but you start to realize a few things as you look closer. You can tell that the hot is pretty old. Yeah, sure, it's had a facelift sometime in the past. But, all the changes are just at the surface. They take pictures that make rooms look larger, there are no glasses of wine waiting for you as a welcome drink, the TV order in menu is non-existent or "sold out", there was a shower built into the wall in our room that said "don't use, decoration only", the sauna didn't work or wasn't hot. It looked cool on the surface, but that's it.

There are actually total 24 beds instead of 12 bed described in Agoda. The shared bathroom and toilet are separated and where are just outside the bed room only. The hostel is clean, free breakfast (toast and coffee /tea only). The staffs are helpful and fluent in English. The hostel is about 5 minutes walk from Tanimachiyonchome Station and approx. 15 min walk to Osaka Castle. There are many restaurants, cafes and convenience stores nearby which provide variety choice of food yet reasonable and affordable price.

It's very convenient to travel from Kansai airport directly by JR line to Kyobashi station and take less than 5 minutes from station to Lucky's hostel lots of great restaurants around also family mart and 7/11 only 2 minutes from here. The place is new, clean and quiet, the stuff is really friendly, speaks very good English. I love this place and will come back to stay here again.

we were 3 of us to use the room. the information on the Agoda website was very limited but when we sent inquires, the person in charge responded well. location itself, it is a bit "not good for teenagers and small kids" area but for us, very convinient to finish all our plan. biggest problem was smell of gas station which is near by. kept closing windows and kept using exhaust fun but still oil gas smell around the room 24hrs which made us a bit sick. also it would be good if we have hard matress bed. enough for 3 of us to sleep in one room but no more space to move around which guest should know first. small kitchen was nice to cook easy dinner.
