Really the best for the price”
Very satisfied with the price and location! It's not very close to Dotonbori, but it's a very satisfying distance for the price. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Namba Station and 10-15 minutes to walk to the subway to Kyoto. The transportation was very convenient for me!! I booked a twin room and requested a non-smoking room. I pushed the beds to one side and used the space to open both my 24-inch and 20-inch suitcases. There was also a Korean staff member at check-in, and although I received guidance from a local staff member, they were very kind. There are convenience stores like Lawson, Family Mart, and 7-Eleven nearby! One thing to be careful of is that there are many host bars nearby, so there were also many people working there. From 20:00, the host bar staff would come out and start their business, but they didn't really talk to us, a Korean couple. It seemed like they were only trying to attract Japanese customers! There was a review mentioning noise, but I didn't have trouble sleeping due to noise during my 4-day stay. Maybe everyone was tired from traveling and going out, so they went to sleep right away! I have sensitive skin, so if the bedding is even slightly rough, it will irritate my skin, but it was surprisingly soft and I had no problems. There is an electric kettle and hairdryer inside the room, and the microwave is located where the elevator goes down. Towels, toothbrushes, razors, and other hygiene products that you can take with you are available near the microwave, and if you indicate that you want cleaning, they will clean it for you! I would like to stay here again and I recommend this accommodation if you are planning to travel to Osaka and Kyoto!

Good points 1. There are two Korean(?) staff members and umbrellas are available for rent when it rains. 2. It is possible to store luggage before check-in. Very very friendly. 3. Very clean and neat. Concerns 1. There were reviews saying that the Wi-Fi is bad, but the Wi-Fi actually works very well. 2. There were reviews saying that the soundproofing is not good, and it is true that the soundproofing is not good. However, the single rooms I stayed in were quiet, even though they were on the same floor. It seems that they are affected by the guests in the surrounding rooms. Disappointments - When you open the window, you just see the building wall. I considered this because it was a cheap room. Overall I stayed very comfortably like my own home during the 4 nights and 5 days journey. However, I was conscious of not disturbing others when I laughed or talked to myself. Just for reference!

The interior of the hotel is a bit old, but the location is great for the price and the staff are very friendly. It's a 5-10 minute walk to Dotonbori. If you come in from the alley, it's a red-light district, so those who come with children may feel a bit uncomfortable, but it should be okay if you come from the main road! I would definitely come back here again as it offers great value for money.

Excellent hotel, everything is clean and tidy. When I checked in, the reception lady told me that the hotel has arranged a smoking single room for me , and asked if that’s ok. I requested to change to a non-smoking room and she arranged that straight away, and upgraded my single room to double room for free. I have had a best stay in Osaka! I don’t know that lady’s name but I would like to say a big thank you to her, and will definitely recommend Hotel Fujiya to other travellers.

The best location if you want to be near dotonbori ”
The location is the best if you wanna be close to dotonbori, restaurants and convenience stores surrounds the area, it can be quite loud at night since you’re in the heart of it but if you love that vibe, this is the hotel for you. We found that the distance to the stations were not ideal for us but still wasn’t terrible. The staff were very helpful, it was pretty clean but it seems like an old building so there’s some cons to that like residual smells and such but it wasn’t a terrible turn off for us. I would recommend this hotel for those looking for a convenient and budget friendly accommodation.

Friendly Front Desk Staff”
Location is pretty good. The front desk staff were extremely nice and good very good care of our luggage. I had a brand new Macbook Air with me and they were very keen to make sure that it was taken care of. Regarding the location, the hotel is close to Namba, so that makes this hotel good for shopping and nightlife. The room was very warm and clean. I would definitely stay here again when I am back in Osaka (Namba Area). The lobby also has a lot of big couches were you can relax and chill out. Lastly, I suggest grabbing some cake at Komida Coffee which is on the ground floor next to the hotel. Thanks for a hassle free stay.

This hotel is sooo close to Dotonbori, it really was a pleasure for a first-time visitor to Osaka! It is really well-located and my room was relatively spacious and clean. The only suggestion I would give them is to perhaps soundproof the room doors as it is really loud whenever the neighbours enter or exit their rooms - not good if you're a light sleeper like me!

The location is super good and the room is nice and spacious although the room walls are thin since we can hear voices or sounds from the other rooms and hallway. Also, even though we didn't request for an extra bed and I have booked for only a twin room, they gave us a room with three single beds since we're 3 people who will be staying in the same room.
