It is about 15-20 minutes from the stations by walk. You can come across shopping malls and convenience stores. It is just next to the popular area for drinks or fun at night. The room is clean and tidy, but quite small. My friend got a large luggage and there was not sufficient spaces for the luggage to be fully opened and laid on the floor. It might be due to the type of room that we had chosen.

I had a good sleep for two days. The hotel was not that near to the station but there were lots of restaurants and cafe nearby. Staff was good and helpful. The room was clean. The only problem was I could hear the noise from the hallway. All in all, I had a good time there.

Best value for money around Umeda/Osaka stn.”
It was my first stay around Umeda. Finding he hotel was a little bit challenging at first. But after a few nights of stay, we managed to know our way around and founds out that Umeda area is stuffed with shops and that's only a few steps away from the hotel. The room is quite small as the other hotels in japan are also similar in terms of size. The bathroom equipment is quite old but they cleaned it real good. They have free wi-fi so we could do some research about things we are going to do tommorow. We went to walk to Umeda sky garden (173 building) and we could actually reach it by foot altough it's also nice if you want to save energy and rent a 700yen/day bike from the hotel to go there. Since it was located in Umeda/Osaka station area, you could easily go to Kyoto for a day round trip from JR Osaka station nearby. You could also reach Namba, Osaka Castle, and Tsutenkaku Tower without changing train line. You could also go to Den-den town in Nippombashi area through Higashi-Umeda station and take a transit at minami-morimachi station to then stop at ebisucho station. You wont have a problem about food as there are so many restaurants and minimarkets around where you could buy with the price range from 500yen each. The only thing we regretted is the check-in/out time. As our flights arrived a little earlier in the morning, we managed to get there by 11AM. But the hotel couldn't check us in before 3PM. Maybe it's because they take their time to clean the rooms as tidy as they can. As all of the "pay-to-get" services are already paid beforehand, so it would only take like 45 seconds for the employee to manage our check-out. It's like handing both of our room cards, they checked it through the computer, and "thank-you for your stay", we could just say goodbye and go to catch our bus. I'd like to stay again in this hotel next time i go to Osaka as the area and the hotel is so nice.

Great experience for the first time I travel to Osaka, inevitably I'll stay in Osaka Tokyu REI Hotel again very soon. I have had twice times breakfast in the Little Monster Restaurant, the food and music was very great during the dining

Staff was so kind and polite”
When I arrived at the Tokyu REI Hotel, I knew that I lost my passport. I had no idea, just crying and didn't know what to do. I don't speak Japanese and the Staff doesn't speak English. But they tried thier best to find my passport. And finally they find it for me. Really kind and helpful. Thanks for the kindness! And Japanese style breakfast was nice and delicious! Room was clean, plus "Green Coin" was meaningful. :)

Comfy Bed, great location, fast check-in”
location is just beside Higashi-Umeda station, so you can go in there to access umeda or osaka station using the underground passage. i took the kansai airport limousine to Hotel New Hankyu then a quick cab ride to the hotel because i had 2 heavy trolleys with me. the taxi meter did not even move. behind the hotel is a covered shopping street with Ichiran Ramen and Zundoya Ramen literally behind the hotel. Beside the hotel is 2 coffee shops (doutor and tullys), 2 convenience store (daily yamazaki and 7-11) and 1 larger drugstore/grocery.

Nice and convenient hotel”
Quite a nice hotel in a relatively less busy part of the city. Quite close to the Osaka train station and just a short cab ride to Dotonburi and Osaka castle. For us, we were happy to pay a bit more yen for the convenience of getting around in cabs rather than deal with confusing train connections (although nowhere as stressful as Tokyo!). Has a nice restaurant in the lobby but we didn't go as it looked quite pricey and food is literally everywhere around the hotel - like most Japanese cities. Staff were nice, polite and helpful and were fairly fluent with English - which really is a bonus people should not take for granted. Room was nice and clean, had good lighting and a good view of the city.

located within walking distance from Umeda/Osaka station. Right behind the hotel is the Komatsubaracho street. Lot of foods and they open till late. Ichiran ramen is just right behind the hotel too! Staffs are friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean.

Clean and new room with lady amenities (DHC skin care)”
The room is standard size comparable to similar prizes hotel in the area, but much more new than the other one I stayed 3 days prior (The reason we moved to stay at this REI hotel because the previous hotel wasnt available on the last night of our trip) This hotel provides us "kid set" (toothbrush, paste, bear pronted towel, kid slippers) and extra lady skin care products. The location was nice for us because I wanted to take my kid to Kid Plaza Museum which is 10 min walk from hotel only and Mandarake (my husband favorite vintage toy stores, collectable toys ... niche group, for some particilar people) is located right behind the hotel.

Decent location, good for evening rest, feels a little dated”
The hotel is close reasonably close to JR Osaka Station (still takes about 10mins walk). As far as Japan hotels go, this one is quite typical. I've stayed at Shibuya Tokyu Rei which I thought was definitely newer and nicer. This hotel feels a little more dated but everything is still ok. The staff speak mandarin so it helps if you can't speak Japanese. There are convenience stores nearby (a large Daily Yamazaki) and the food streets are just behind the hotel. Glad to have the usual washing machines available for a quick laundry.

I recommend for Friends Group not family. So many Night Clubs close to the hotel. But hotel location is very convenion next to shopping malls, drug stores, super markets, Osaka station & Umeda Station. Breakfast is good.

Fast and comfortable”
The front desk person is nice to offer a membership card that allows me to check out in an extended time. The card can also be used as a point card for more perks and discounts with other branch and partner hotels all over japan and world. The staff are OK with their english ability. The process of checking me in is fast. The room is very clean! The location is just at the area of the night life in Osaka! Very close to restaurants, shopping mall and the train station! I will definitely stay here again when I am in Osaka!
