Good Location, Affordable Price”
the hotel is in makassar city center, 5' walks to fort rotterdam museum, not to far to losari beach, somba opu souvenir shop, and very near to many good restaurants. the hotel is new, very simple breakfast, no elevator, wifi in room, ac is just so so.

Clean hotel, friendly staff, li tied English”
Three doors down the street there is a place called New Legends Hostel. It is a dirty, cheap hostel with nothing to recommend it. But my taxi driver initially dropped me there, an honest mistake. They apparently didn't understand when i asked for my reservation and I was there for a day and a half before I realized my mistake and moved, paying for the first night at both places. Travellers should be warned to look for the hoTel and not the hoStel.

It was altogether good value for money, though our room had no window. But A/C etc all working. Very friendly staff and good location. But altogether Makassar is not very attractive but would not recommend to completely leave it out. But one day enough.

Nice hotel”
overall, the hotel is nice. the room is designed in modern minimalis and it is very clean although not really large. all the furnitures are still new. the wifi connection also fast. the ac is worked well (wait around 20 minutes to reach 16 celcius). the breakfast simple(it was fruit, rice, fried chicken, and soup) but taste good. the minus is the hotel has no elevator.

Great Stay, Value for Money”
Not bad at all. Hotel still new, and the internet was quite fast. And the breakfast delicious. I came here with my friend and we request for extra bed, compare to the main bed, the extra bed is too noisy since it has to many springs inside of it, but it was okay. The room is clean and the bathroom has hot water.

Great location but no Windows ”
We had 2 nights at hotel new legend and had no problems. The room was fine but had no Windows and was incredibly hot because the aircon cannot run if you are not in the room. So we spent a couple of hours cooling Down the room each Night. We never tried the breakfast, so no comments there.

simple and small”
It's just next to Yasmin Hotel, good location to ChinaTown or Popas Cafe by walking distance. Alfa mart express is only like around 30 meters from Hotel. Convenient! Facility is new but small and compact. The hotel only got 4 floors and no elevator. Each floor only got 2 rooms with windows, and it’s called “suite” room. Hot water is not 24 hours. Staffs are friendly.

The Hotel is very clean and real value for Money”
The Hotel stuff is very friendly.The only disadvantage was that I had to walk up to the 4th floor however, only 70 steps up which was a nice morning exercise.My room had no windows but was sparkling clean and so was the rest of the Hotel.The Breakfast was simple but tasty.I have no regrets staying there.

Hotel photos look better than real”
Hotel photos in the internet look much better than what the hotel is in reality.Hotel lobby is ok, but room is rather small and windowless. The wifi was not stable, sometime ok and at some other time it didn't seem to be moving at all. Breakfast was minimal. The only consolation may be its closeness to the beach and chinatown.

our superior room had no window (like all superior rooms at this hotel) but the air-conditioning was high quality and effective so the room didn't feel airless. the spring bed was comfortable and the large flatscreen tv had cable channels such as hbo. the bathroom had a hot and powerful shower, a sit-down toilet and a small sink. breakfast was a satisfying buffet of rice, vegetable and chicken dishes, as well as fruit, with tea or coffee.

Excellent value for money during the Low season ie late May 2017”
General helpful staff who will get hot water for u if you approach them. The only setback is that the staff are not conversant in English and cannot help very much with using the pete pete (local blue vans). So if you wanna move around like a local, u will have to be resourceful and find info on your own. However, they can help to book Grab if that is what I want.

Great Location”
Lokasi yang dekat dengan wisata di Makasar dan banyak tempat kuliner di sekitar. Lokasi yang benar-benar strategis untuk menikmati liburan di Makasar. Lokasinya bisa di capai dengan berjalan kaki. Tetapi kamarnya untuk tipe superior tidak ada jendelanya, dan kalau dapet di lantai empat belum ada lift. Hotel baru yang sedang di renov.

Our superior room had no window (like all superior rooms at this hotel) but the air-conditioning was high quality and effective so the room didn't feel airless. The spring bed was comfortable and the large flatscreen TV had cable channels such as HBO. The bathroom had a shower which was unfortunately not very hot. We asked for this issue to be resolved and were told to slowly turn the tap from cold to hot. This did not solve the problem and we were forced to take lukewarm showers. Breakfast was a satisfying buffet of rice, vegetable and chicken dishes, as well as fruit, with tea or coffee.
