They provide us free drop off to the Airport, even at 3AM, because our flight was at 4:30 AM. The staff are nice and friendly. The room was Large and Clean. Best option for Airport Transit in Makassar.

Darma Nusantara is a budget airport hotel with free airport shuttle. The rooms were average but had hot water, and the breakfast was lousy. Hotel patrons were a little creepy. For an overnight stay it was adequate.

Very near airport, perfect for late night arrival”
We stayed here because our flight arrival was past midnight and we opted to stay near the airport rather than transferring to Makassar city center. Also, the next morning we had a business located about a half-way between the airport and Makassar, so we chose to stay close to the airport to avoid the usual morning traffic jam.

Quick stay for connecting flight”
Basic hotel and good for a night before catching a flight from Makassar. We got a good nights rest but very basic room, but you get what you pay for. It's only about 1-2km from airport and hotel offers transfers.

excellence place for transit for a night”
because I need to transit for a night before I can take another morning flight, so I chose one of the hotel closest to airport for convenience. their car arrived 10 mins after I called the hotel, and indeed it takes less than 10 minutes to reach the hotel. I didn't use much of their facilities but sleep early. They have free breakfast including bread and fried rice, the simplest ones.

Near airport, descent option for layover sleep”
I picked this hotel because I had a long layover on my way to Sorong for a dive trip. I wanted to get some sleep as my next flight was at 3am. The staff forgot to pick me up at the airport but I found someone working at a hotel booking desk to call them. They came pretty quick and the hotel was very close to the airport (5 min or so). The hotel was reasonably modern and the room was comfortable enough. Later, I found out that there is a hotel in the airport which would have been much more convenient but I don't know how the prices compare.

Close to Airport”
This hotel is close to the airport and a good option if you have to overnight in Makassar before a flight the next morning. They offer free airport shuttles, but even after calling to confirm and re-confirming flight details, they were were not there upon arrival. I called for a pick-up and they came right away, however. The rooms are clean.

the greatest thing about this hotel is that it's located close to the airport, so if you plan to stay in Makassar for one night only then this hotel would be great option. however, it is quite far from the CBD and to be able to get a lift you need to walk a lil bit to get a taxi or you can ask the front desk to get you one.

If you need a 1 night crash pad, between flights this hotel is ideal, as it is cheap and located about a 5 minute drive from the airport, most hotels are located in the city a 45 minute drive from the airport. However be aware that it is very basic, check in was quick, they have no working lift,you may want to bring a sleeping sheet as the bed linen is very grubby looking. On the plus side the shower was hot and the room quiet. Breakfast was included but inedible. A nice surprise, they offer a free transfer back to the airport. If you have a longer layover, it is worth travelling into the city, as there are some first class hotels available.
