Good location & Good value for the money”
Location is good. The hotel, nested in a quite area and a bit outdated, is only about 5-min drive from morning market and Tanukikoji Shopping Street. The size of the room is spacious even according to western standard, much larger than those in typical Japanese hotels. The only downside is the room temp is not adjustable. Our room was so warm that we had to turn the heat off and opened the windows to cool down the room a bit. Overall, it is a good value for the money. I will stay there again.

The hotel however has free shuttle bus to train and shops (5 times to train and 3 times back to the hotel per day). The room is huge (double size of Japan’s other standard 15m2 hotel)

Great stay but including breakfast is not recommanded”
The stay was great but breakfast was medium. Not expected as the value on the money with such a common breakfast. Both days they served the same menu, understood that because of the corona they cancel the buffet but at least they can provide different breakfasts on different days. Food quality was also not satisfactory. On the first day, the room was not properly heated on a winter night, we complain it they change the room which is good. Also, they provide free water bottles on demand. Properly clean environment with sufficient stuff and cordial welcome. I like it but only if they improve their breakfast that would be wonderful.

The Premier Hotel Tsubaki is a 15 minute walk from Sapporo station, making it a perfect location for those who like to stay somewhere quiet and explore the city on foot (which is the best way to see Sapporo). Just across the road is a convenience store and a bus stop for express buses to the airport (the hotel also provides free shuttle buses to and from the city). The rooms are large and well appointed with a seating area giving beautiful views of the city and mountains. The beds are large and comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious with a bath and separate shower. We stayed for 5 days as part of a campaign, and are really glad we chose this hotel. We won’t hesitate to stay here again the next time we visit Hokkaido.

One of the best accommodation in Sapporo”
Out of the three accommodations my partner and I stayed at in Sapporo, Premier Hotel was by far the best. Customer service was impeccable, with staff helping with our luggage from the moment we stepped into the lobby and offering to help with our commute after we checked out. The twin room we booked was enormous and had the standard amenities including toothbrushes, towels, and even hairbands. The WIFI connection was strong too which was a major plus. We only stayed a night at Premier Hotel and in retrospect, I wish we stayed longer. To me, Premier Hotel was like a luxury hotel without the priciness. On the downside however, I found the location a bit inconvenient. It is a 15min walk away from its two nearest stations and considering it was snowing and we were carrying three large suitcases, it was laborious to get to the place. Still, I'm glad the hotel building had the large sign "Premier Hotel - TSUBAKI" otherwise locating the hotel would be difficult. Overall, I am glad we stayed here and would recommend anyone who stays in Sapporo to consider this hotel.

Superb service and extremely spacious room”
We were taken by surprise of the special treatment the moment we arrived at the hotel. A staff standing outside the front entrance, push a trolley and helps us with our baggages. After checked in, the baggages were delivered to our rooms. First of its kind experience in Japan. We were in for a second surprise for an extremely big, spacious room and even bathroom and toilet which we rarely find it in Japan hotels. It’s value for money. We were in for the comfort of these hotel rooms. Had a wonderful stay and staff able to communicate in English. Hotel provided free shuttle bus to Sapporo Station for our shopping spree in the heart of Sapporo city centre and various attractions like Odori Park, TV Tower, etc. We, then walked back leisurely to our hotel which took us around 15 minutes. Surrounding the hotel, are Lawson and we discovered an authentic Japanese meals with very reasonable price nearby.

Luxury at half the price”
I've stayed in many places in Japan and this has to be one of the friendliest and most luxurious places I have encountered for the price. The bedroom and bathroom were both very large and the staff were very friendly and courteous. Most staff were able to speak English and also happy to chat in Japanese to a learner such as myself. The location was beautiful and a short walk from the heart of Sapporo, although difficult to traverse in the winter during heavy snow, their is a free shuttle available. A convenience store is literally across the road and laundry is close-by and the Hotel has it's own souvenir store which sells similar items so that you need not venture into the bad weather if need be, or to collect that item you forgot. The Hotel has multiple in-house restaurants and the food is presented beautifully however the quality tastes second-tier to other food options in the area, although this is slightly made up for by the excellent service. Overall a wonderful hotel choice.

Good location, helpful staff, spacious room”
We stayed there for 5 nights. Hotel lobby was huge and can be compared to 5 star hotels. Room was clean and spacious. We did not have that cramped up feeling. Only problem was the room temperature. The heating was still on and although we had it at minimum and with the small window open, the room was stuffy. Bathroom had all the amenities needed. Breakfast had a good spread of Japanese and Western dishes. Vending machines available together with a convenient store in the hotel. Airport bus stops directly in front of the hotel, very convenient. English speaking staff were friendly and helpful. Its just a short walk to all the shops, restaurants and Sapporo station or taxis from the hotel cost 1000 yen. I would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel & walking distance to susukino”
Free shuttle bus at sapporo station. When we arrive on the shuttle bus, we received a warm welcome from the hotel staff. After checked in we were lead by a hotel staff to our room and patiently explain all the amenities in the room. She told us that during winter there will be only heater on their central air conditioning system and that i could off the heater and open the window to cool the room if it get too warm. However, it doesn't help much as even i open the little window it still feel a bit too warm. Other than that this hotel is perfect! And maybe the hotel should provide more shuttle service to sapporo station.

We 14 person stay in 17/2/19 ( 5 nights) , Room Big , Clean and Service really excellent . Transport : I.) Airport to Hotel by bus is better than take train , because Bus stop in front of the Hotel Main Road. II.) easy access to Sapporo town and JR Station . Excellent choice and great value for Sapporo”
We needed a long stay, 9 nights and did not want to spend a fortune yet something nice. This hotel fit perfectly and we used their free shuttle service to Sapporo station (city center) nearly every day. Literally, the hotel's staff ran to greet you and made you feel welcome. Room was huge by overseas standards and the bathroom has a separate tub and shower. Maid service and cleanliness were a 10 out of 10. A big plus is the airport shuttle bus (3 X per hour) has a stop right at the hotel and a return stop right across the street from the worthy hotel.

Great service with big size of room”
I stayed for two nights in this hotel and enjoyed the stay very much. While I was waiting for check-in, they provided some refreshments at the lounge. The front desk's staff could speak English very well and provided comprehensive information about Sapporo & public transportation to me. The hotel is situated just beside the river. I could enjoy the scenery while I was walking from the hotel to the metro. Arrived the metro, there was a 2-storey supermarket opened 24 hours, I did spent over an hour there and bought Japanese snack food & wine back to home. I highly recommended the hotel to you.

A Warm Sapporo Stay”
Sapporo is nice cold city to travel and stay yet Tsubaki Hotel keeps you warm throughout the stay. Despite the windy cold weather at around 6°C, the aircondition in the spacious room (which is at least 3 times the size of the room I get at Tokyo) kept us warm throughout the stay and I have to keep the windows opened all night. The hotel is clean and well maintained, however it'll be a good idea to have some upgrades to the furnishings to keep it a'lil modernized. The restaurants provide a good variety of quality food choices and convenience for us, although it's just a 10min stroll from the underground.

Off peak season travel”
If you've ever wondered what it would be like to stay at a five star property all by yourself, this is it. We arrived on the weekend after golden week, the city was a ghost town and the hotel which would have been lively and vibrant a week earlier was deathly silent. All in all, a VERY cool experience. Sapporo in the spring is not to be missed if you're not fussed about the ice festival. A number of things were shut for the reasons stated above. We felt that opening hours for the in house restaurants and other local attractions could have been better communicated, but all in all a well maintained and exceptionally generously appointed hotel.

Chose this hotel for the room size. Which is more than double of what u can find in more central Sapporo near Odori, Suskino or Sapporo Station. We had a car which makes it easy to move around and location can be a bit off the usual tourist spots but only 5-7mins drive. Spacious grand hotel for a relaxing stay in Sapporo city
