Traveling to Germany? Find Baden-Wurttemberg hotels

İt's very closed to the Milchhof station, only 1 minute away. You can take the U12 from Central station in Stuttgart and the second station is Milchhof. If you get out at the first station (Budapester Platz) there is a big shopping mall (Mİlaneo). Breakfast is very good and really enough (7 euro). Staff is very hepful and general the Hotel was better than a 5 star hotel, I had to stay before. From Airport you will be with S3 in 25 minutes at the central station.

We enjoyed our stay at the NH Heidelberg. The location is very convenient, as it is on a major bus and trolley line, so it is reasonably easy to get anywhere in the city. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and spoke good English. The restaurant has good German food for dinner; we did not eat breakfast of lunch there. It is a European-style hotel, so do not expect things like a washcloth or public ice machines. There were a few technical difficulties during our stay. The television and one of the two elevators stopped working; both were fixed within 24-36 hours, and we received a free drink at the bar for the inconvenience of the non-working TV. The air conditioning seemed to have a problem during the one very hot and humid day and the beds are soft. I have stayed at the Marriott in town, which is a better hotel, but is much more expensive. However, overall, for the price, it is a good hotel.

I was looking for a centrally located hotel and a quiet room and both of that at an affordable price. I got a last minute (literally) deal for 39 Euros and think that was good value for money. Most of the hotel guests seem to be international travelers (tourists I guess) from Asia, North America (it was formerly part of the Best Western hotel chain) and Eastern and Southern Europe. For under 60 € Euros I can certainly recommend this hotel to anyone interested in staying centrally. I'm not sure though if I would be willing to pay more than 100 Euros, which is required during festival or trade fair times.

this hotel located in front of the STR train station and it nearby the best shopping area of this city,room is clean and there is a staff will nock your door to check if you are satisfy with their cleaness. quality of the breakfast is very good. to summary it's a good hotel but still have some room for improve for example they should provide free WiFi svc and the elevator is too old with some unpleasent noise. if you ask me for use it again when I'm in STR ,my answer is definitely.

Need to send mail to your visitor informing them to use Tram 4 from Railway station to your tram station. While booking there should be better clarity if hotel booking included breakfast or not. I felt a bit cheated when at reception I was told my booking is with out complimentary breakfast. An email should be sent in advance. Raj Sehgal. The purpose of the stay was to visit the Xmas market in the grounds of the Heidelberg Schlosse (castle). We booked the junior suite which had a large double bed and a single bed - plenty of room for us with two children as the youngest slept in with mum and dad. The hotel clearly recognises that some guests maybe disturbed by noise on the street outside as the provide earplugs in the room. Maybe we were lucky but for the two nights we stayed the only thing we heard was the trams early in the morning (which are not loud). The staff were very attentive and cheerful. Special mention to Peter Scmidt who helped us with recommendations, a taxi booking and all other details. We took the breakfast option of EUR 15 per head. It might sound like a lot to some bug definitely worth the money. A wide choice of items, well presented and very tasty. Location wise, we arrived on a train from Frankfurt and with lots of luggage decided a short taxi ride from the station was better at EUR8 each way. From then on, the hotel was in easy walking distance to the Christmas markets at the Castle. We don't normally stay in the same place twice but we would make an exception for the Bayrische and Heidelberg as we were most impressed with the hotel and the town.

I am travelling from Frankfurt to Stuttgart, this hotel that i booked has better room and standard compare with Mercure which i stay in frankfurt with the same price. The only complaint about the hotel is the pillow which is too low for my hubby. The shower was strong which my hubby like it. It is not near to main station, need to walk about 5min to tram station and took two station. With a short walk of like 15min, you can reach to a shopping center with lots of restaurant. Will return to stay again next time if comes to Stuttgart

outdated hotel , without air conditioning , rooms with windows to main street are very noisy at night . when asked to change room said by personal that it is not possible . half of rooms in our family were with bathrooms without doors , half with glass door . in one room were step inside the room . there were not safe boxes in rooms . towels and pillows are in poor condition and need to be changed . some towels are with holes . when asked to change pillow room keeper said that he need to check with the manager , and finally didn't change it . breakfast is good , and hotel is in a good location . probably is just 2 positive points .

This is a great hotel if budget is a constraint for you. The location is superb, just at Stuttgart main station exit. Many good restaurants and all kinds of shop nearby. Best part is free Wi-Fi which is hard to get in Europe. Internet connection is just superb. Will recommend this for all junior business travellers who does not need luxury, but need to feel the city pulse.

A functional hotel. Stayed here two nights on a work trip and having it right across the main train station is very helpful. Room is clean, functional but also - there’s no tea, coffee or kettle? For a 4 star that seems a bit scanty. Tried to pay for a half day extension but couldn’t as they were fully booked for an upcoming conference. Overall, it’s functional. Has a heated indoor pool. Gym does not open till 2pm. A little bit of a downer. There are plenty of cheap eateries nearby that appear popular with the University crowd.

Rooms are clean. I'm disappointed about the receptionist in that shift. Upon arrival (we were polite, acted normally) he crossed the room # on the reservation paper and changed (it seems) to a different r. in the top floor. The room had a very strong smell, from stains on the carpet I can assume of vomit and cigarettes. We returned to the reception to kindly ask if another room is available due to smell. With no problem he gave us r323 (I think), which also had a very strong cigarette smell. As we changed already once we thought this is the best we could get and we wanted to grab some dinner & rest. Upon our check-out the (other) kind receptionist started herself that this room has a cigarette smell&too bad we didn't ask for a change&she apologised and to my surprise said her colleague wrote her remark about the cigarette smell in 323, although we didn't tell him. I wonder why he deliberately(?) gave us a smelly room. Hotel didn't seem to be full and I asked for a non-smoking room!

I have stayed in Pullman Stuttgart hotel with my husband during my business trip. It was very nice hotel with a big and comfortable bed. Bathroom was also big enough for both of us. But the best part was breakfast. So many fresh bread, fruits and cheese!! It is quite far from Stuttgart city (approx. 11km away) but very close from the train station. So it is also convenient to travel to city.

We found Hotel Leonardo on-line and selected it because of availability, affordability, and the location of the hotel. Leonardo was more expensive, but was totally worth it. The staff were incredibly friendly (they knew how to smile which was a big deal for us at that moment). The room was very clean, modern, had a refrigerator, free WiFi, and a nice bathroom. They did not offer free breakfast, however, there are plenty of eateries around Leonardo with varying price ranges. Someone with a tight budget could also buy some food from nearby grocery stores (take visa, mainly master cards) and use the refrigerator. We had to take a bus to attend a conference about 15 minutes away and the Leonardo happened to be one of the stops for the bus. Being right at the city center (~downtown), we often used public transportation. The main railway station is about 13 minutes’ walk from Leonardo and after checking out, we rolled our two suitcases all the way to the train station. [Side Note: traveling light with 4-wheeled sturdy luggage is highly recommended.] I had accidentally left our cell phone charger and the adapter in the previous hotel and the lady at the front desk lent me her charger without rushing me to return. We were able to purchase a cheap charger from a nearby store for 8 Euro. [Side Note #2: Use your US debit card in one of the international ATMs in the airport/train station.]. BTW, Leonardo does have a restaurant inside, but we didn't use it. Please note that there are 3 Hotel Leonardos in Heidelberg area, and ours was near the city center. I almost forgot to mention that the front desk provides with printing service if needed. We very strongly recommend this hotel. It may cost 30-50 Euros extra per night, but we truly appreciated their better service, location, quality of the room, and friendliness especially after having a rough time in the previous hotel.

This was my first time staying at a Hotel in Baden-Baden and I am confident I made the right choice. Hotel's location was in heart of Baden-Baden. Was able to walk to main shopping area within 2 minutes. Hotel staff was very professional and hotel had great design. My only negative comment would be the Breakfast... It was a "traditional" European Continental style of Breakfast. Would have preferred more variety. This is minor in my opinion though so I would still highly recommend anyone visiting Baden-Baden choosing Hotel Merkur... You will not be disappointed.

It was our second time to stay in a Novotel hotel (the other being in Frankfurt). Room was big enough for all of us and very clean. The design of the room was nice, very modern and minimalist. The hotel is not in the main business/shopping area of Karlsruhe which is great for those, like us, who does not want too much crowd, but still close to almost everything. The Marktplatz and Schloss were within walking distance and there is a nearby mall where you can get everything. Receptionists were pleasant and welcoming. We only stayed a night this time but will not hesitate to stay for longer periods. Definitely worth the money and comfort.

One of the best locations / hotels in Titisee located right next to the lake and at the best end of town. Whether you are looking for wellness, lake activities or just a town visit the Maritim hotel is one of the best destinations you could possibly choose. The hotel has nice clean rooms, friendly multi-language speaking staff, a lovely breakfast buffet with view over the lake, swimming pool, comprehensive fitness room, sauna, table-tennis, a bowling alley (kegeln), billiard table and especially a large private 'green' open area directly next to the lake. As others have mentioned has a nice Bar too but didn't use it this time around. The only negative is that as guest of the hotel you still need to pay extra to park at the hotel which I find a bit strange as hotel guest because it makes me feel like I'm not one - better would be to just up the room cost and provide free parking for guests, but never mind. I've visited this hotel several times, just go there and totally enjoy your holiday at the Titisee ! Yes !
