Traveling to Germany? Find Rhineland-Palatinate hotels

The hotel was probably one of the best I have been to. It was very clean with incredibly friendly staff who cared for their clients. The location has a tram that goes directly to mainz central station which is ideal. I recommend anyone wanting to be near the mainz area to go to this hotel.

This hotel is a travel to the past, because it keep the vintage feeling of the grand hotels from old times, but it doesn't mean things are old - things are well kept or renewed (smart TVs with Netflix and etc). Whenever I travel to Mainz I try to stay at this hotel. It is not too big, has friendly service, is centrally located and most rooms have been recently refurbished. AS you can expect from a Mercure brand the hotel was a very good standard. Rooms reasonable size, clean and tidy. Staff were very helpful. The restaurant had a great buffet. Easy walking to all the city attractions and tourist sites.

Nice location with decent sporting facilities. Close to the Maar lakes with swimming facilities. Great location for hiking, running and cycling. Seems good for families with young children. Breakfast buffet great. Lunch menu limited. Some accommodation little dated but ooverall clean. Value for money ok.

I stayed for one night at the standard single room . The room was spacious and clean, staff was friendly. Public transport ticket was included in the price of the room but it was useless since the Altstadt is not far from the hotel. Instead I would prefer to have free breakfast included.

Generally delightful; booked a deluxe room with a view of the Rhine. Do note that such a room will be assigned to a Villa which is adjacent to the actual Rheinfels castle itself. Stepping into the room for the first time, I couldn't help but smile widely and that led to a "Whoaaa" when I checked out the view of the Rhine valley from the balcony. Delightful stay, friend...

Our stay was functional and pleasant. It is one of the first hotels in Germany that we have stayed atvrecently where the receptionist spoke English quite well. The Hotel is located next to the train station and therefore very convenient for people travelling by train. Unfortunately, the area around the train station is not the best. The city center is in walkable distance. Rooms are very modern and clean and staff very friendly and helpful.

If you need to go to the era this is the best hotel to stay.

It is not situated in the central but there is the tram station nearby and feel safe area. Breakfast is beautiful. Thete are so many choices and nice hospitality.

the staff was not particularly helpful and there was no information about the health spa written in english. across the rhine river from the historic district, it took about 10 minutes to get to the center of town. apparently the hotel is gearing itself towards bus groups and/or gourmet dinner groups as the menu and staff were limited when we were there.

the place was perfectly fine and the staff is great but it just doesn't seem the best bang for your buck. it's not the easiest place to get to and from other parts of Koblenz, however, super easy from 9-6 to and from the AltStadt. there is a personal ferry that can take you across for ~1euro. Diehl's hotel i think might be better for families.

Breakfast served was among the best during our stay in Germany.

The hotel is not worth the money. Bathroom doesnt have any amenities such as tooth brush or shaving sets or shower cap. When working at the room, I got 4 times disturbed by the maid.
