This place is perfect!”
I hope I could share some photos because this hotel was the best one during my trip in Japan. I actually traveled with my friend. It was like 247 RMB (3818 yen) per one night. The front desk was so nice and they could speak English. The check-in process should be done online but the check-out process was easy. That 3 days I spent there was so convenient and comfortable. And the thing made me like a local person was that I should drop my rubbish every day by myself. There’s a tub and a full automatic toilet. There’s a washing machine with nice laundry detergent, and I could dry my clothes in the bathroom. There’s a TV with kinds of channels. I even watched all the episodes of 大叔の爱. Btw, there’s a huge balcony, I didn’t use it tho. It was too cold outside! The location was not too faraway. It took us like 2 hours walking back from Shinkyogoko. We should have taken a bus but walking along the Kamogawa River was unforgettable. Hahahah. Eventually, I highly recommend this hotel! I’ll still pick it next time!

The room is NEW and clean and complete with equipment and facilities. It may be small but it got everything you need. They also provide a file complete with all guides and instruction about how to get to the nearest convenience store, restaurant and also the famous attractions in Kyoto. Washing machine and the drying facility in the bathroom also are very good. All our clothes dry in one night. The downside is the central check in. We have to spend time to check in at other place and then have to wait for the bus to fetch us and send us to the apartment. We also booked for 4 nights but they only provide 2 sets of towel. It's more to homestay-feel than hotel. You also has to walk for about 15-20 minutes to Kyoto Station but there is a bus station nearby.

Comfortable, self-sufficient apartment at good location”
We had a comfortable stay in this apartment. The apartment is comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is quite good, we only have to walk about 10 mins to nearby train stations. Just take note that check-in time ends at 8pm, we forgot about this and came too late on the day we checked in. That caused a bit of panic but we managed to go straight to the apartment reception to check in. The toilet seat had a small stain when we checked in, which i easily cleaned myself, but other than that, the cleanliness is OK.

Newly opened Apartment style and seriously quiet. ”
Stayed in The Kyoto’s largest apartment for 10 nights in December 2019. On the 4th floor facing north with a large open private verandah, the length of the apartment. Could not have been any better. Apart from not having tea towels to dry the dishes (no dishwasher)the only one other thing was after a week we wanted clean sheets. We had to remove the sheets and take them to the front desk and were given fresh sheets to make up the beds. All towels and hand towels we had to wash ourselves which wasn’t a problem as the washing machine worked well and drying rack in the bathroom dried everything quickly. Also they don’t supply face washers. Had to go and buy our own. The toilet paper was well stocked as was the bin liners and toothbrushes and washing machine detergent and shampoo conditioning and body wash( although you might want to bring your own). Fridge is the size of a bar fridge but with a larger freezer section. Kitchen has a lot of storage as dose the bathroom and bedroom

Room is clean. Kitchen facilities are excellent. Appreciated that 2 sets of bath and hand towels were provided for our 4 nights stay. Drying of laundry in bathroom is perfect too. Also impressed with the information file in room which is informative and useful. Complimentary simple pastries breakfast is a plus. However only one pastries per pax policy needs hotel guests cooperation because our family of 4 didnt get ours on one day. Size of room is more suitable for 3 pax. We are overall happy with our stay.

Having some troubles during check in, no house keeping, bottled water only provided on first day. It’s more like an apartment setup, new and cosy place for short stay, complimentary cakes and muffins for breakfast. Delicious ramen nearby, must not miss it.

Overall we enjoy every moment of our stay. Its felt like home as utensils, knife, scissors, pods,soap,spoon fork, plates, cooking sets etc are there. If you are a fan of riding bus, this place is perfect. Train station is a bit far.You might be surprised with the extra pay (city tax) Y200 each per day as I was but I dont mind as it was compensated with the good facilities.Only drawback was check in area is on different location 😟

It was our second time staying at Resi Stay The Kyoto. We had a comfortable stay and we enjoyed it that we felt at home. Our daughter kept going around so we thought it was were she started and learned how to walk last 2019. We'll surely stay again when we visit Kyoto.

Geniales instalaciones pero poco resolutivos con los problemas”
El hotel en sí es una pasada. La habitación es muy grande, y sobre todo MUY nueva, casi todo se controla de forma digital (incluida la ducha). La habitación tiene lavadora y una especie de sala secadora (la ducha) por lo que es muy útil. No obstante, tuve un problema con uno de los enchufes. Pusimos a cargar varios dispositivos en un adaptador para Japón que hemos usado en dos viajes sin problemas y sin embargo en este hotel falló, empezó oler a quemado hasta que dio un chispazo y olió aun peor. Lo desconectamos y desde entonces la cámara no carga. Lo comentamos con el hotel y no se hicieron responsables, cosa que en parte puedo llegar a entender pero me lleva a que no recomiende este hotel.

After you contacted us about that, our staff came into the room to check and also recheck it after you check out several times. But we could not find any issue about the plug and we could use our electronic devices without any problems. In addition, other guests have stayed in this room, but they did not have like this trouble until now. We feel very sorry about this situation, but we will appreciate your understanding. We have several hotels in Kyoto, we would be happy if you come back to stay with us again in the future.

設備も新しく、掃除も行き届いており、とても快適な滞在でした。 長期滞在型のマンションタイプの施設で、食器や調理器具、アイロンに至るまで備品も行き届いていました。 また、洗濯機やキッチンも各部屋に完備していて、本当に不自由がありませんでした。 私の滞在した部屋の難点をあえて言うなら、エアコンの効きが弱めでやや寒く感じたことと、Wiｰfiが途切れがちだったことです。 ただ、それらも些細なことで、全体としてみるとかなりのコストパフォーマンスで大満足でした。

ホテルは京都駅から徒歩で15分ちょっと、ホテルに向かう大きな通りは歩道が狭くアスファルトがぼこぼこでスーツケースでは少し疲れる。路地を通れば問題無。スーパーは、五条にあり、ホテルから歩いて5分ちょっと、スーパーの正面には、ほっともっともある。またそこから1、2分で吉野家、マック、CoCo壱などがある。ホテルのお部屋はきれいだが、すべてカーペットなので、少し気になってしまった。タオルはたっぷりで助かった。従業員は、とても丁寧に設備の説明をしてくださり、笑顔が素敵でした。大変お世話になりました。ありがとうございました。

新築のアパートメントホテルだったので綺麗で清潔、設備もしっかりしていてとても良かったです。 朝食のパンとコーヒーが無料でサービスで驚きました。 バスで観光地にも行きやすく、周辺に駐車場も多いので車で行っても大丈夫です。 また利用したいと思えるホテルです。

6歳児と一歳前半の子連れで泊まりました。部屋は広くないですが、食器が高いところにあったり、子供の手の届く範囲にある備品がさほど多くないので助かりました。洗面所の引き戸に一度手を挟んだのと、引き戸なのでトイレに入れてしまうのが困りましたが、今の時期だけだと思います。立地はコンビニや飲食店も少し歩きますが、とても静かで駅までも歩けるので良かったです。
