This hotel provides accommodation that is ideal for families as it is designed more like an apartment so it’s well equipped with a kitchenette and washer with dryer feature. The beds n wardrobes are huge. Location is ideal. It’s a hop, skip n a jump to the Nohi bus station on the left and the Takayama station is adjacent to the bus station. You will never miss your bus or train to your next destination. The Sanmachi old town is about 10-12 minutes walk away n so is the Miyagawa Morning market. There are restaurants all within walking distance too.

My first journey to Takayama. I will keep this hotel is my favorite. The distance from Takayama station is only 30–40 meters. The type suit room that I reserved is on the ninth floor. A room is large. Four beds, a kitchen, a living room, a long balcony, and a roomless area for my luggage are all there. The laundry machine in the room is highly beloved by my wife and children. The staff is courteous and polite. I would first suggest staying at this hotel if you visit Takayama.

Perfect place with beautiful views ”
Pros: Massive apartment with two bedrooms. Welcome alcohol was in the refrigerator and was very good. Located near literally all the fun things to do in Takayama. You can walk everywhere from this hotel. Next to a Lawson’s and McDonalds. Check in process was easy and fast. Room is brand new and very very clean. View from the 10th floor of the mountains of breathtaking. Outside balcony was super nice to hang out on while drinking morning coffee. Super close to the morning markets! Right next door to the train station. I can’t recommend this place enough. The room had a king bed, and two twins. The rate was great for all that it included. Cons: You may have to pay for parking if it isn’t listed in the booking. It’s $8 a day. They do have parking at the hotel but it is limited. There are lots around the hotel with parking.

the hotel is very very close to the train station and bus terminal. we are so delighted when we arrived at our room as the in-room facilities were the best, the amenities are also complete! the room was tidy, warm and modern. too bad we only stay for less than 20 hours but we are sure to come back to Takayama again one day, and I will want to stay in this hotel again. Our moms were overjoyed and repeatedly mentioned how they love this hotel the most. thank you Residence Hotel.

This hotel is really close to takayama train & bus station. Very convenient if you also want to take side trips e.g to shirakawago, since the bus station is literally almost next door. There is also a bike rental next door of this hotel. Also each room have complete facilities inside. There is a small kitchen & washing machine, including washing pods, in each room.

I loved staying here. We basically had our own little apartment with a separate toilet, shower, kitchenette, combo washer/dryer, and bedroom. It was a very comfortable stay. They even gave us passes to use another hotel's onsen a short walk away and it was amazing.

Strategic, staff is helpful ”
Hotel is very strategic, next to train station and bus station. There is a washing machine in the room which u can use, n the kitchen is well equipped with pans, pots, kitchen utensils. Room is in very comfortable size with space. I will stay here again!. Only the bath is in its sister's hotel which is 800m walk away. But the bath is good (with outdoor and indoor).
