Simple yet lovely homestay”
The homestay is located in Setiabudi area, of which a place of many factory outlets for instance Rumah Mode, Fashion World and many more by walking distance (the friendly staff showed us shortcut). We love our 2 days stay in Retanata as the place is very nice, quite and peaceful, the room is big and clean and the staffs are very helpful. As for breakfast, we were provided with rice, bread, coffee and tea, it was simple but nice and filling. Overall it is worth for the money. We will come back and definitely promote this homestay to our friends.

Home away from Home”
From the day I booked my stay with Retanata, has been helpful. She helped me with the arrangements of transfer in a private car from Jakarta airport to Bandung as our arrival was at 11.55pm. She also arranged a driver to drive us around for two days. A good itinerary was planned by her for the driver. Retanata is well recommended as it's very clean. They cleaned and tidy the room every day. And surprisingly, the staff folded the messy clothing that my husband and children left. They are very efficient workers and keep track of my order even when I forgot. made us feel very at home. Thanks and your staffs that we enjoyed our stay and will book into Retanata again when I go there.

Great Room, Friendly Staff, Nice Views”
We're on group business taking rumah kayu in Retanata, we're entering retanata very late and the staff still welcome us very nice.. even it already almost in the middle of the night.. the thing that negative of this place is the breakfast location.. to get there we must climb up the stair quite high.. I think it will be hard for elder people get there.. and bathroom it doesn't have any keylock.. besides that everything looks perfect... I definitely will come to this place again if I come to Bandung...

The surrounding of Retanata Homestay is beautiful, clean and suitable for those who travel with family. The staff are polite, nice and really helpful. The room is quite big but the toilet is quaite small but clean.The location of Retanata is close to Rumah Mode but it quite a challenge to climb up a steep road.

Strategic location in the region Setiabudi. Retanata has a unique landscape, the rooms were clean, comfortable and safe for kids, We had 15months baby, and i love when i stayed in Retanata. Toilet were clean,Idid not find the musty smell in the toilet. Actually we're backpacker family do i do love the Retanata with the reasonable budget.

Excellent staff”
the staff at retanata homestay are amazing! they are so friendly and eager to help out. they saved us from a transportation fiasco by magically finding us train tickets. not only that, they were willing to help us with all of our other questions about nearby attractions and working out the angkots. it is a bit tricky to find, so if you're trying to find it yourself, ask around.

when we reached this place we thought we made the wrong choice as its not near the main road and wanted to cancel the booking after that but we ended staying in this place for all 4 nights i must say its a basic hotel with nice compound and free breakfast was just a simple but tasty meal the rooms are clean and its good for us as we just needed a bed to sleep as we spent almost all the time in the day sightseeing/shopping and we realized it makes sense to just stay in a simple hotel/guesthouse and all 4 of us agreed that booking retanata homestay was a good decision we made. and i was recommended by my uncle who has been there before. the staff are polite, friendly and very helpful. we had a driver for all 5 days and thus made it easier for us to move around. the hotel is a good distance away from kampung daun (ard 20 mins if no traffic jams with traffic is about 1hr), paris van java shopping aread is also around that travelling distance. to puncak is about 3 hrs and to kawah putih around 2 hours.

Very clean hotel and wonderful staff”
we stayed at retanata for 4 nights. it is a basic homestay but service was great. everyone had ready smiles on their faces and were very helpful throughout our stay. the homestay is located far from busy traffic and was very peaceful and quiet. they also had a nice garden where we could sit in while waiting for our driver. breakfast was very simple but tasty enough. we were served fried rice, bread, local cakes, cereal and coffee/tea. i will certainly recommend this homestay to my friends!

this homestay is suitable for budget traveler. located at setiabudi and cihampelas. 10 minit fr. main road. also near with rumah mode. nice hotel, clean with hot water shower with friendly staff. breakfast only two dish, but it was good and delicious. must try their 'cucur tempe'

Nice palce and crews”
I once stayed here with my friend about 2 or 3 years ago. When I found that Agoda had Retanata in the list, without any doubt I reserved the room. Actually I booked for Superior then I just realized that it had no bathroom inside so I upgrade the room to Deluxe the one with bathroom. -The room looked like a villa and was acceptably clean. The staffs were also very friendly and helpful. -The location is near Rumah Mode Factory Outlet and Setibudhi Supermarket and you can easily reach the public transportation in casse you don't travel by car. Tip for those who don't know Bandung Area well: it's better if you call for the direction. I was there once and I went there with my sister who knew Bandung quite well. all in all, I recommend this place if you wanna find a tight budget place to stay but still considered nice and decent (for me and some of my friends who were actually had stayed there before. For Retanata owner and staffs: thumbs up! keep up those positive points :)

friendlyy staff and peaceful place to stay”
It was a tricky way from gmaps which was heading us to Retanata through a long narrow alley from setiabudi road and can't be skipped by a car. Better go through secapa AD (army living) which is located in hegarmanah road near back of setiabudi supermarket and telkom building. Pros: - 5 mins from rumah mode by walking if u go through narrow alley and heading u to setiabudi road. Better have a walk than go by a car coz setiabudi such a most traffic road at Bandung - peaceful area n nice garden - large space on deluxe room - friendly n initiative staff, 1st day the hot water from shower didn't come out, we complained it, and they fixed it immidiately, they cleaned up our room n changed d towel everyday Cons: - it was a little bit bugs under the light - didn't provide us with tooth paste

A stay that meets basic needs ”
The most impressive part of the stay is the friendly and helpful staffs. A staff is always available 24hrs at the service desk. The rooms are a little old and don't expect cleanliness of 5 star hotels. However I'm okay with the overall cleanliness and facilities (TV, hot water shower, air conditioner). Location is really convenient with a 5 minutes walk (through a busy back lane) to Jl Setiabudi with food outlets, shopping and banks. But the homestay itself is very peaceful and quiet. Overall, it was a good stay with reasonable price and big rooms.

Feels like home plus great location”
This guest house experience was very nice. I have stayed here for several times now and feel like it is one of my preferred places to stay in Bandung. This time we travel with friends and feel good about everything, parking lot is good, checking in was easy, everything in the room works well. The best thing maybe the location since it is very easy to go to Bandung hills in Setiabudi or Dago or to access the city. All for okay price for us.

i think this hotel is great choice for my family. feel like home with much smile from the staff. retanata is a hotel with cool air and near rumah mode factory outlet. only 8 minutes walk distance to rumah mode. breakfast not so good. but lot's of place to eat nearby. there's a cheap but delicous 'ayam goreng' and 'pepes ayam' at front of setia budi supermarket at jl. hegarmanah only 5 minutes walk from retanata.

Lovely family hotel”
This is lovely family hotel, good staff with smile and helping. Breakfast nice and good, changed everyday. Room clean, have air condition, tv, hot spot and refrigerator, only writing table is outside the room. View and surrounding of hotel is good. Every room view to nice garden. Only walk away to many Bandung factory outlet n restourant or cafe.
