We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is located near to Kyoto station (hachijo exit). Prime location. I was totally impressed when we 1st arrived at the hotel by the grand sliding door, Japanese style decorations at the 1st floor, it's cleanliness & by how good the smell inside the hotel. Staffs were very friendly & helpful. Our room was amazing! We booked for 2 single beds. The beds & pillow were very comfortable, we sleeps soundly. There's a balmuda kettle, japanese tea sets & etc that really impressed me & make me go WOW! The bath towels were so soft & the sou.sou room wear was really comfy. Overall, we had 3 great night's stay at the Rihga Gran Kyoto. I highly recommend this hotel & if I have a chance to go to Kyoto again, I'll choose rihga Gran Kyoto definitely

The hotel is accessible to different line in Kyoto stn and Kansai Intl Airport Limousine bus. There's shop around the stn from food to gift shop. Their Single room not too squeezy with the necessary amenties and free drinking water for each guest. Their bathroom to the washroom its clean. U can use the washing machine in each floor, take note u need to have 100yen with u coz there's no change. U can select from washing to drying. For hotel crowded /available can refer to the TV to check the status (ie. Onsen, washing machine, etc). Also u can ask the front desk to deliver your luggage 2 days in advance to the next hotel, get the slip before u pass the luggage to them. You can track using the waybill no.

Room amenities are really good and the rooms are still looking very new and clean. Hotel gives off very grand vibes. Definitely a hotel that’ll I’ll choose to stay again if I’m going to Kyoto.

The location is very close to Kyoto station. Just a 5 minute walk and you can have access to most malls, underground shops and restaurants in the area. The hotel is very clean and the staff service is nice too! Would definitely recommend.

1) Hotel is new and within walking distance from Kyoto station. 2) Public bath (though with hot water, not onsen) is attractive as well. However, it could be very crowded at evening (bath) rush hour. 3) Traditional but appealing interior decor - enjoyed its spacious room and private bath tub.

Everything was great but the training of staff for emergency/clinical services could be better. Facilities was awesome! However the laundry washing machine could do more frequent cleaning as there were lint, hairs etc when I was using the washing machine. Nevertheless I would definitely choose this hotel if I come back to Kyoto. Great hotel. Love it!!

Location is great as it is relative near to Kyoto Station as well as the Kansai Airport Bus-stop. Emailed the hotel to ask if they can accommodate a slightly earlier check in but did not receive a reply. On day of check in, I arrived at 1415, 45mins before the official checkin time. I asked if the reception if the room is ready, and whether they are able to make an exception to check me in abit earlier as we had been travelling since the night before. Staff initially quoted additional fee of 3000yen despite it being only 45mins to official check in time. Subsequently, she said she was unable to do so and directed us to wait at the lobby. All in all, rather disappointed by how the request to check in was handled, despite us being willing to pay as we were really tired. Staff was also unsympathetic and unapologetic.

Great place near Kyoto station”
Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay here. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. They could use a few more washer/dryers. Best time to use is midday. The restaurant was ok. Better places to eat in Kyoto but convenient. We really enjoyed our stay here
