Great weekend stay”
The gym was really good. The pool, sauna, and steam room. Much needed after a stressful work week and long commute to Riyadh. Although not advisable to walk anywhere from the hotel (too much traffic, etc.,), there are plenty of taxis right outside the door. What I found really helpful, was that the men behind the front desk were incredibly understanding of a problem I had. Since there was a train accident over the weekend, I was unable to take the train back to Dammam. Being in a rush, I asked them to help me book a flight and they essentially bent over backwards in helping me set a flight ticket up. I cannot thank them enough. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Riyadh, as they live up to the expectations of what a Marriot hotel should be. The bed was comfortable, clean, and when I entered the room, the television was on, with a welcome message for me. It was a nice touch. Thank you. I really do appreciate everything you guys have done. I will most likely return.

I recently had a 4 night business stay in Riyadh and chose to stay at the Marriott. It was well located for the government departments I was visiting, and well served by taxis, so easy to get about the city. The room type I had booked was not available on arrival and I was put into a twin room instead, which was ok. Room was a bit dated - I forgot they ever made such enormous tv sets. Best features were the executive lounge, which served breakfast and light supper daily, and also has 5 itnernet PCs for free use. (In room internet costs 80 SAR per 24 hours). Had a late night flight, and was given a complimentary extended check out, which made life much easier. Faciltiies in the gym/health club were excellent. It's well equipped.

As mentioned that the hotel is quite and provides clean rooms. the staff are very friendly. the check in and out process takes only few minutes and the price is very reasonable for 5 star hotel. for the traveller by car I think is one of the best hotel in the area because of its location near to the main highway that saves driving time and avoid traffic jam. But if you want new modern hotels near to the shopping malls and restaurants, then this hotel is not for you.

i was in riyadh for business meetings in the city centre. the location of the hotel is very good in this respect. i had a room at the executive floor with lounge access. the service in the hotel is excellent, in particular the staff at the executive lounge did an outstanding job. however, the computers in the exec lounge are outdated, and there is no wifi access in the hotel except for the hotel lobby 1st floor. even at executive floor, internet services are charged...
