It was good place to stay and worth of money”
I like to stay here, the facilities was great. I got my own bathtub, but I kinda upset with the staff, I've book my stay few days before but when I ready to check in, i had to wait because they said that there's no booking under my name. Over all the place was great.

Strategic location with low cost ”
It was not an expensive stay in Riyadi Palace. I arrived at 9p.m. and welcomed by an ordinary but full of smile receptionist. The hotel is not too far from Purwosari train station, mall, and other public area. So, i was really enjoy my trip in Solo.

Best Price Hotel in the Center of Solo”
room was okay, and it was more than enough for the cheap hotel price we get from agoda. around the hotel there is pizza hut and diamond restaurant, and in the morning there is nasi liwet, famous food from solo near the hotel. we order from room service for dinner, and surprisingly it was very cheap! the food was only until rp. and additional breakfast for adult is only. very cheap buffet breakfast for a 3 star hotel! just 10 minutes by car to go to kraton solo.

AC and Refrigerator were very old and having low efficiency. These needs to be replaced. The hotel offers free airport pick up and drop. This facility was not reflected by the booking agency on web site. Also at the time of reservation and in reservation confirmation letter, it was not mentioned. So I had to book a taxi in to approach the hotel. However, on departure date, the hotel dropped me free of cost at airport

This is a good hotel for me. Room rate is cheap, Big comfortable room, clean, good taste of food, hotel staffs are very helpful and always smile. Close to paragon mall and other interesting locaton. I will stay at this hotel next time.

good location to celebrate new year's eve, new year all activities undertaken at the main road slamet riyadi. fireworks, live music. all events can be seen directly from the front of the hotel. do not need transportation.

Basic hotel with friendly staff”
This is a basic hotel but provided a large clean room. It is geared more for local tourists as restaurant staff had no English but provided good service and freshly cooked tasty food. It is quite a way from the railway station and tourist sites of Solo but on the main street. As I was only looking for a clean cheap place to stay for one night it suited my requirements.

Great location, budget hotel”
We stayed at this hotel for weekend with the family. This is an old hotel with old furniture and building. However the location is very good, at the central of Surakarta and close to major attractions (Keraton Kasunanan and Mangkunegaran, Pasar Klewer, Ngarsopuro Night Market), and every Sunday, car free day of Solo is just in front of the door. Overall, this is not a good hotel if you want comfort and luxury, but just enough if you want to spend all day outside and just need a place to sleep and shower.

Nice, helpful staff”
I only had a standard room, but they gave me the top floor, 4, and it was clean and comfortable. It was an Agoda special. true, this is low season and there were very few there, but the staff made this a very nice stay. I am Western, so it would have been nice to get a Bir bintang--but they have none. So, if you need a bar,this is not the place for you, but if not, then I would stay there again. Nice place, and very helpfuol staff--got me to the Kratons.

I stay in this hotel with my family (wife and baby). The location is good, on the main street : Jl. Slamet Riyadi, wich is near to culinary places. The hotel staffs are friendly. But the condition of the room is on old fashion. The refrigerrator did not work properly. The breaffasst is very poor for 3 star hotel. I ate breakfast in other restourant.

Not so clean”
The location is really great, the rooms are very spacious, the staff was always friendly and supporting, the WLAN worked mostly (problems on the last day), no problems with internet reservation or payment (still not always the case). The restaurant obviously only serves the hotel. The food choices were very limited as compared to the menu, but the food served was o.k. Buffet breakfast decent, eggs, omelette, toast, fresch food available, don't expect cereal, but unfortunately the warm food was hardly ever kept warm. On the down side the cleanliness, especially in the bathroom. The toilet bowl and the towels were really bad, and even on the fourth floor we had plenty of ants and even cockroach - these points would probably scare us to come back, but they might not be as decisive for others.

Nice service, ticket arrangements, great bathrooms, all a bit datedm but nevertheless comfortable. We missed the WiFi, which usually comes in hotesl of these prices complimentary. Nevertheless, for a quiet, normal hotel, it is to be recommended.

Great location but standard service”
i stay for only one night in the beginning of february 2012 and several days in 2010. i found that the hotel has a great location and spacious parking area.overall the facility and amenities are enough but some facilities in the hotel really need some upgrade because they are look so old for example electrical equipment, valve and faucet.
