Roemahkoe Hotel is always be my go-to hotel everytime I visit Solo. The price is very affordable yet the hotel doesn't feel cheap. It seems like the hotel management carefully choose and design the room with high quality furniture. Sometimes I like to try new hotels for new experience. I can say comparing with other hotels in this price range at Solo, Roemahkoe is really really worth it. So everytime I want certainty, I choose to stay here. These are things I love about Roemahkoe: - The staff seems well trained, attentive to your needs. - Smooth check in - Everything at the room works fine. Never find any problem especially on light, water, amenities, etc - Try the breakfast! I personally love their nasi goreng. - With this price range, I love that they provide lots of towel. - The soap smells really good - One time I accidentally left my charger and the staff immediately inform me via WA.

everything was just great..since first i want ro check in, the staffs were just really helpful, nice and kind to us. good soundproof as well in the room, if there is one thing that I found a bit annoying, it was just the wifi didn't reach my room..but overall i really enjoyed my stay there~ p.s. there were so many place to take nice picts!

So comfortable .. and charming staff. I like to walk long distances and did, to the tourist places such as the palaces and markets and galleries. But it's easy to organise transport too.when it's too hot.

Feel the old homey traditional room!”
When I was there, I think I am the only customer they have. The staff are all polite and kind, they treated me like a queen. The room is amazing. It was nothing like in the picture, it's beyond! I love it! I wish I could stay a month. They prepared my breakfast nicely though I'm the only person they served. It is just omelet and toast, but the services they gave it's just remarkable. I have found nothing like them in my life. Certainly comeback! Thank you for taking care of me for 4 days.

We stayed here for 2 nights - the hotel rooms are very nicely designed, clean, with hot water and good AC. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of nearby Batik shops, restaurants, and cafes. Only minor improvement would be to improve the wifi. Highly recommend this place!

Wonderful Art Deco hotel”
The furniture the stained glass the floors all orinal from the 1930s. Go out the back door and you are into the wonderful small streets of Laweyan with batik shops and workshops all around. Fantastic!

we stayed during the Xmas/NY holiday and it was sad that they had a very low occupancy (we were the only guests). we loved everything about this place; the building itself is magnificent with lots of history, loved the library, foods, and of course the hospitality from the whole staffs. thank you so much for taking care of us, we hope to return sometime soon to Roemahkoe Heritage Hotel.

Hotel staff is very helpful lending us a room when our room is still not ready for check in. The hotel is clean and nicely refurbished for an older building, some facilities are a bit old but it's still okay. Overall clean.

A place i’d like to call home”
As how it is called, “Roemahkoe” literally feels like home. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the bathroom was quite spacious. I travelled with 2 kids and 5 adults, although there were many anitiquities, my kids weren’t fussy at all. We could find so many great photo spot in the building. If i have to complain, the only thing to mention was since it is located on a main road and the room i stayed in was near the main gate, i could hear the loud sound of motorcycle and bus passing through at night. The value for money was great and overall we enjoyed staying at Roemahkoe.
