Generally delightful; booked a deluxe room with a view of the Rhine. Do note that such a room will be assigned to a Villa which is adjacent to the actual Rheinfels castle itself. Stepping into the room for the first time, I couldn't help but smile widely and that led to a "Whoaaa" when I checked out the view of the Rhine valley from the balcony. Delightful stay, friendly receptionist except hampered somewhat by the staff at the restaurant. I was ignored by the restaurant staff at dinner time and made to feel rather ridiculous and embarrassed standing at the entrance for a good 10 min. Approached 2 or 3 wait service staff initially and they kept saying that I had to check with the restaurant manager who was nowhere to be seen apparently. Decided to put my foot down eventually and said, "I have been waiting for about 10 minutes and I really just want to eat." Only then did one of the waitresses guide me to a table (albeit being rather isolated from the rest of the dinner crowd), all this while apologizing profusely. Requests to be shifted to another table closer to the livelier dinner crowd was met with initial hesitation, with the waitress saying that she had to check with her "restaurant manager" first. At that point in time I wondered if I wasn't being taken seriously because I was the only solo diner and probably the youngest in the restaurant. But it all worked fine eventually, and the food was no doubt among the best that I've had in Germany. Was charged a "business facilities" fee of EUR16 which I had no idea what it was for. Nevertheless, this is a hotel that you would surely want to consider if you'd like to spend a day or two indulging right by the Rhine valley, in a charming, quaint town like St. Goar.

場所は素晴らしい。 アクセスが少し悪い。 メシは普通より良くない。

新館は通常のホテルで、古城ホテルではありません”

こちらの調査不足ですが、部屋によっては新館なので、古城ホテルではなく、普通のホテルです。 古城ホテルに泊まりたい人はプランをしっかりと確認した方がよいです。 夕食をレストランで頂きましたが、とっても美味しかったです。 朝食も充実していました。

お部屋は意外と普通…お城を感じるにはレストランが良い”

船着き場からスーツケースを引きながら歩いて行ったら、坂道だったのでちょっと大変でした。でもホテルの立地はとてもよく、とくにレストランからはライン川を見下ろすことができて、朝も夜もとても素敵な雰囲気でした。近くには食事どころがないので、ホテルで食事をしました。ベテランバトラーが手際よくサービスしてくださいました。フロントスタッフもバトラーも、フレンドリーというよりは、クールな感じですが、てきぱきしていました。スパは利用しませんでしたが、プールやサウナも有料で使えるみたいで、施設は充実しているみたいでした。ホテル内を探検するのも楽しかったです。朝食は素晴らしかったです！種類の充実差はもちろん、ひとつひとつの質の良さを感じました。牛乳も、イチゴジャムさえとてもフレッシュに感じました。

快適で雰囲気のいい古城ホテル”

１泊しかしなかったのに、たまたま、結婚式及びパーティーがあったせいで、古城である本館ではなくビラの部屋になってしまった上、スタッフも式の対応で大忙しのせいか、十分な接客を受けられず、残念だった。

古城のホテルということで、日本ではなかなか味わえないタイプのホテルでした。 【良かった所】 ・スタッフの対応 ・決して広くなく、ロビーから部屋、レストランまでが近い ・インターネットが無料で使用可能 ・部屋からの景観が素晴らしい 【改善してほしい所】 ・暖房の機器が悪く、少し寒かった ・防音が十分でなく、周辺の部屋の音が少し気になった
