Clean apartment room with 2 beds”
We like the hotel cleanliness, and also for the private kitchen. We brought our kids, so sometimes it is better if we can cook our own food. We also like the friendliness of the hotel front staff.

This hostel is super clean and cheap. I don't know why it's called a hostel because I actually had my own room with bathroom and kitchen! I'd highly recommend staying here!!

Beautiful room with 3 futons”
I love the feeling of lying the futon but not cold. The room is large enough for up to 3 futons and a small tea table set. My favorite thing is the bath room can become the drying room, so convenient for tourists.

Good amount of space in room. Great facilities available in the room - kitchen, microwave, kettle and washing machine/dryer with detergent provided. Self check-in after hours was available for those convenient late nights.

It was near kyoto station like 20 min away. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel but we don't know how to get to the hotel from kyoto station so we took a taxi. Overall is good.

Very comfortable”
This hostel is about a 15 minute walk from Kyoto station. The room was very large and comfortable and included all the essentials such as a washing machine, a comfortable bathroom with a soaking tub, and even a small kitchen with fridge and microwave. I really liked the place.

In the room everything is very clean except a bed. When I sit on a bed dust flown in the air too much.

We have stayed overnight here. We are so amazed that everything you need are provided. It costs cheap but the facilities are great! Kudos to the owner!

A good stop in Kyoto during the Corona pandemic”
I really enjoyed the Japanese style room + apartment facilities. One minus point: the room has no view = a good incentive to get out for a stroll. It's about 25 min to the station on foot. The price was very good due to the special situation (March 9th, 2020).

7-11 is just opposite the hostel. In fact, it was slightly different from the picture, room is too small for 4 adults. I'm so disappointed as it stated provide luggage storage service, but the staff told us that the luggage will put at the corridor, and they can't guarantee our luggage safe.... It was so annoying.

The hotel is a bit far from kyoto station (approximately 15 to 20 min walk). It is better if you take the bus to local attractions as there are bus station outside of the hotel. The room has a microwave, a stove, and the shower bathroom is equipped that if you hang our clothes to dry, it will dry over night. Overall, an amazing value for the room. I will stay here again

Guest Apartment Kyoto Ann is located in the heart of Kyoto.Just 15 mins. walk to Kyoto Station, 5 mins. drive if you will take a bus or taxi. Transpo is so convenient.There is a bus stop across the street & a 7 eleven store. If you’ll take a bus, it cost ¥230 and around ¥1,000 for a taxi fare. It is very safe to walk around the vicinity. The apartment is simple but the room is clean and complete with linens and toiletries except for slippers. The room is enough for us to move around and for our luggages. There are hangers but no cabinets. The shower room is separate from the toilet. There are washing machine, refrigerator, gas stove for cooking, microwave and kettle for tea and coffee. And lastly, the WIFI inside the room is so FAST. .You can buy a prepaid SIM card at BIC Camera, the store is located within the Kyoto Station, cheaper than the SIM cards available inside the airport. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Can speak and understand English. I highly recommend .

Good choice of kyoto stay”
We stayed for 3 nights in root2 when visited kyoto. The room is spacious and I especially like the bathroom! We even able to do our laundry. The only thing we feel not great enough would be the location. However, it is always accessible to Karawamachi area by bus and bus stop is just at the corner of the stay. We had a really great stay in root2.
