Good quality hotel with cozy, eco green, and peaceful ambience, although located in central area. The room was good enough, with good AC, bathroom, and woody ambience. Unfortunately the quality of WiFi is not good enough.

simple clean place with wood and green setup. Location inside local houses, gives a true local feeling but still keeps the privacy. There is sound of man made gurgling water fountain creates a soft meditation ambiance. A minimalist and modest life approach, dont expect full staff and fullfledge resto/bar. It is my first time to have holidays on Solo and because of turi, I have a very good impressions about Solo. The staff was really friendly even he offers me to took some pics on their courtyard. In the first time, I really pessimist about the size of the room for me and my two friends, but thanks to our luck, we have a room on first floor and if we open the door we can see straight to the yard. The water heater is not really good but it helped with temperature of the cold one that still warm. Overall it was a pleasant experience

The hotel is a little bit outdated and is located on a small road, a car would suit, but it would be quite a challenge. The place itself is heavenly, with its sustainable ecosystem, its such a refreshing weekend getaway from your work. 8/10, I would totally stay here again if I go to Solo

Rumah Turi hotel is a good place to stay in Solo. The greenery and the sound of running water make for a very pleasant retreat from a busy day in Solo. Initially we were a little disappointed. However the place quickly grew on us. Disappointed? One of the bathroom towels was pretty much threadbare, there was no vent fan in the bathroom (though the passive to outside was OK), the kitchen and eating area were not operating while we were there (though we did find after the first day that they'd provide breakfast on request). An attraction is the fabulous funky restaurant whose rear entrance is just down the street before you get to the corner. Recommended! Overall, good!

good budget hotel in Solo. location near paragon mal and had a good access to all spot in solo. Room quite small and not to clean. AC is cold, and variant breakfast is not too much. a good place just for take a nap and go.

overall this is a really nice place to stay, so tranquil and green. but there are a lot of small black bugs on the bed at the night time. And the bedside table are a little bit dusty.

A Great Place to Stay in Solo”
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel from the date we arrived. Not having stayed there previously, we did not quite know what to expect - from its service, accommodation to the amenities that Rumah Turi offers. We were pleasantly surprised at the warmth and helpfulness of the staff, and they went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful through the course of our stay. The room is clean, the air conditioning and water worked well, and we do enjoy our complimentary breakfast they served every morning. One defitite shortcoming that we encountered was that the hotel, although billed as an Eco Hotel, allowed far too many smokers as guests, and to make matter worse, they are not separated from the non smokeing guests like ourselves.

It's very green and quiet. The staff are super friendly and accommodating to guests' needs. Coming from a much more crowded Jakarta, Rumah Turi stole my heart. This is THE choice for those who want a comfy place to stay with tranquil ambience. One note though: the sheets could've been cleaner. Otherwise, awesome!

we only stay for a night, but it was quite memorable as it was our first stay at a hotel with our 10 months-old baby. on deluxe room, it's roomy enough for our little one as he likes to cruise here and there and we love it. it would be better if services written on the booklet are really available for guests to use (i.e. babysitting services) overall, we have a nice trip to Solo and we should thank Rumah Turi for our good rest :) oh, and for the yummy breakfast, too!

Going Green with Rumah Turi”
My regret in staying in this hotel was that we were so pressed for time, I didn't get to spend many hours to enjoy our stay here. We only spent scant hours to check-in, sleep and eat breakfast. But I definitely would like to come back and stay here whilst am in Surakarta. Our driver had a difficult time taking us to this place, probably because we had chartered a ride from Yogyakarta so he wasn't very familiar with the area. This place is actually convenient, but only if you have been here before - as its somewhat in the inner streets and would require walking out to the main road. A good landmark is that you can walk in 5 minutes and be at Paragon Mall at the corner. I like this this place I've always been attracted to eco-friendly hotels. The pictures on their website pulled me in - and when I saw the plants festooning the place, I was definitely happy to stay there. The room we stayed in was a boon - just on the first floor, and a quick step away from the reception area where I had to do a lot of coordination. I was curious though about the upper rooms. We didn't get to explore the other floors due to our hectic schedule, but their photos on the website had already given me an idea. As for breakfast, you can take it in a very relaxing and artsy room, or outside their dining area and be closer to nature. It was simpler fare than what we had in previous lodgings, i.e. in terms of variety and quantity, but no matter, it was still filling, and eating in such a close-to-nature but with hints of Javanese decoration made me linger over my simple meal. The staff was really helpful. Not only did they kindly give a welcome drink to one of our party who was sadly booked in another hotel, I had prodigious help from one of their staff when I tried to get a tour package that was going to be custom-made for our group - and since we were scattered in different hotels, it took some time but she was patient all throughout.
