First we booked the basic room and was told we could upgrade if we wanted to. we decided to upgrade to the rooms out the back that had air con, looked more comfortable and had their own bathrooms. the rooms were small but did us fine for the days we were there and the aircon was great! the food ar salassa was awesome! we had omelette and toast in the morning that was nice and filling! Words cannot describe how amazing Eric and his wife are. they truly are such kind people!! we had something truly awful happen to us while we was staying at salassa and eric and his wife supported us in every way they could. they went above and beyond and i cannot thank them enough for their help.

Amazing Rare Beautiful People ”
Had the honor of spend 6 weeks with Eric, Shanty, their adorable family, and colorful staff. Eric and Shanty are the type of people that will put a smile on your face just with their presence. I never felt like a guest there; felt like my own family. They have amazing and unique personalties. I regularly sat and had a variety of conversations about just about anything with them. They are worldly and extremely helpful, informative, about tourism there. Food is unique and amazing; it is worth a stop, if only just to try it out. Clean humble accommodations with serene well-kept tree garden in the back villa area. Stop by if only just to meet them. They have really good pure hearts. Tell them ZK says that he misses them HUGELY.
