"Hotel San Cassiano was everything we could've asked for. They had free wifi, free breakfast and the staff was very nice; especially Max. They even provided a converter so we could charge our phones for the entire stay. Only negative, the hotel is a bit hard to find. However you can take the water bus for airport Marco Polo round trip for 27 euros. The ride is about 50 mins long and about 5mins walk from the San Stae stop "

"This was our first visit to Venice and a little apprehensive about the location of our hotel, however now we have been wouldn’t stay anywhere else. We loved the location and the district of San Polo was perfect and easy to walk to all areas of Venice, the area is very peace. Our room was on the ground floor which was a little noisy on occasions as we were woken by breakfast preparations and people walking along the street along side our room would be amplified by the tiny alleyways. If we were to visit again we would make every effort to stay on the second floor. The rooms do not have tea & coffee making facilities and you are required to use room service and for two pots of tea will cost you €7 (I did miss my morning coffee and endless supply of evening cups of tea) The reception staff were extremely helpful and valued their knowledge and support as the Venice transport systems can seem a little daunting at times. Thumbs up and looking forward to our next visit"
