The staff are hilarious, open, friendly, and super helpful. All their recommendations were amazing and local and worth seeing. The dinners were fantastic and my room had a huge window, was next to the bathroom, and everything was very clean. It’s the down season but I can see this place being party central in summer, all the while quiet and respectful in the rooms. Rooftop patio is a huge bonus, place to hang out and meet people. Will recommend this hostel to everyone!

Best hostel in Barca so far”
The room is really clean and the locker uses the same key card as the door so it's really convenient. The staff is super fun and helpful. There's a party every night in the common room and free walking tour every morning. Very close nearly to everywhere i need to get in the city centre

Amazing hostel ever ”
All staff are very friendly, a nice pool at the rooftop, very convenience location.Their free pub crawl on every night was awesome! We had a lot of fun, dinner was also good, only cost Eur 7, after dinner, slap cup game is on. The best hostel in Barcelona, really recommend you stay there!

My WORST experience in a hostel ever.”
First, they asked me to change my room/bed in the middle part of my stay, which meant I had to pack all my stuff for C/O (before 11) and then be back for C/I (after 14) with the whole C/I procedure again. They told me the reason why I needed to do that was because of my long stay. Secondly, I’ve already fully paid the accommodation fee while I was booking at the Agoda, but from the first day I arrived to the last day I checked out, I had to explain it again and again. However, they still double-billed my fee without my permission or any notice to me in advance. The fact that the hostel double-billed and refunded it had already cost me amount of loss for the currency rate exchange. The manager even said they could only refund the exact amount that they charged me, and that loss I should deal with the bank by myself. For those guests who r going to stay in this hostel, just remember to check your bank account during your stay, in case they double charge your payment again and secretly.

Incompetent Manager (Cacau) and Staff (Sofia)”
One month trip to Europe in May 2022 and I had the worst experience with this hostel. Manager mishandled my booking I was short for a night and they just packed all of my things without even sending me an email warning me about what they were about to do. Sofia, the staff was a b*t*h about handling the situation she doesn’t belong in a hospitality business. She is as incompetent as her manager about understanding the situation. She needs more education. They also have the same breakfast everyday - worst croissants and bread I’ve ever had. Staff would just barge into your room making all the noise while there are people sleeping. THE WORST HOSTEL I’VE EVER BEEN TO.

Unique, great, music themed histal”
I believe all the Sant Jordi hostels are good, but having not stayed in any others, I can only confirm that this one is excellent. Reception, hallways and communal areas feel like the little brother of a Hard Rock hotel, all themed to famous music venues, and adorned with guitars. The lounge and kitchen were spacious, there are roof top terraces to sit on, a small roof top pool (!!) and a beautiful Modernista style stained glass window. It was very clean and modern, and you can learn the story of each venue and the faces associated with it. Very cool design. The dorms are basic but the bed was decent and a personal shelf/light/charging station is really helpful. I stayed in a mixed dorm of 10 and everyone was friendly and respectful. The location is excellent in beautiful L'Eixample and a 5 min walk from a very useful metro station / 10 mins from Gothic Quarter. Luis at reception was wonderful.

To the prospective guests: this is a modern and stylish hoStel in a very safe and good central location not a hotel where you could be expected to pay €20 for a daily internet access; here you can get a bed for that amount of money. To the management: Staff is really professional and energetic. Hilary, a member of the team, is literally hilarious and can make your day remarkable and more enjoyable by her professional advice and personality. Fernando and Hugo were sorting out my random inquiry about the extension of my stay while they were dealing with a major system blackout and the hostel was 99% booked. Boldi is funny and can even speak some very unique, European languages...

It was all good and fantastic! But the location was quite isolated from the airport bus stop and to the catalunya with my big suit case! But they let me keep my suitcase even after I checked out for free. That is quite good deal I guess :) thanks to all the staffs xx

Awesome Place!”
I stayed there 2 different times -before and after Paris. They held our luggage, staff was awesome, the other guests fun, the furnishings are classy, it's not too far from transportation, and I could easily walk to attractions I wanted to see (granted, I like walking around new cities). But beware of the street thieves! They pretend to help you with luggage, then they steal it and run in opposite directions! We met several people who this happened to and they got pick pocketed too!
