Loved our stay here! ”
Brilliant stay at Saren Indah Hotel. We arrived v late due to long wait at immigration, but still welcomed kindly, with our bags carried to room and a tea given each. The room was lovely, didn't realise what the mosquito nets were at first as they looked like romantic drapes! Lovely deep bath. The view to the fields outside was gorgeous, with different wildlife noise at all times which was amazing. Breakfast was great each day. Staff were amazing, so kind sgd friendly. We got laundry done which was incredibly reasonably priced. Location was fantastic - right next to the monkey forest so could constantly see monkeys wandering about. Pool looked gorgeous but unfortunately didn't get to try it out due to rain and being busy! We absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommend it.

Loved this hotel so much! 🧡 The staffs, the owners, the facilities are good. I initially booked the hotel room for one night and then I kept extending one day at a time until it reached 16 nights 😄 So, you can see how much I love this hotel and the environment. Not only the hotel, but the people I met at this hotel and Nyuh Kuning village (where the hotel is located) were so inspiring. Out of 16 nights, I was the only Indonesian guest at this hotel (and the youngest guest. Lol). Most of the guests here are coming from Europe (especially the Netherlands). If you like a calm & quiet atmosphere with nature setting, Saren Indah hotel is perfect for you.

ubud idyll”
A return visit to this delightful family run hotel was not disappointing. Set abounded by rice padi it is a relaxing place to stay. Well maintained grounds with a spotlessly clean swimming pool. Although an older style small hotel it is kept in perfect order. We had the majority of our meals here - well presented and flavoursome. The staff are friendly but professional and nothing is too much bother. Our balcony room had delightful views. The spa covers a range of treatments and well worth visiting. Thank you Ary , Wayan and family for making our visit so special.

Great value for money accommodation with heartfelt hospitality ”
Located in a lovely village near Monkey Forest. The staff were very helpful and made me feel at home. Opt for the deluxe room on the upper floor - you get a superb bath tub with a view and peaceful private balcony overlooking the rice fields. Breakfast was lovely too. Value for money with complementary shuttle buses going into the main Ubud area. I highly recommend staying here - I stayed for two weeks and felt right at home.

This family run hotel is recovering from the Covid lock down. After two visits in the last couple of months they are slowly returning to pre Covid. Remains our favourite place in Bali .

2 Night stay in Ubud”
Tucked away near to Monkey forest you will have find peace here. The rooms are big in size and you have rice paddies near to hotel. The staff were courteous. One thing which I didnt like is that they serve breakfast only after 7:30 am. As many tourists start early for day tours this policy they need to change. Apart from this I didnt had any major issues and would recommend this hotel and is value for money.

Set amongst small rice fields and not far from the Ubud monkey Forrest in a quiet street this hotel was perfect for our family to stay in The accomodation was clean but basic and gives wonderful views from a balcony room

A quiet hotel behind the Monkey Forest”
We stayed for 3 nights at Saren Indah. The owners are working hard to bring the hotel back after Covid. Our room was clean, the bed very comfortable. Breakfast included. The bathroom was bright and airy ( a pleasant change from the dark rooms in previous hotels). Our room upstairs had a beautiful view over the rice fields. The staff and owners are very friendly. The only minus for us was there is no room safe or safe at the office. We had a Pacsafe bag which solved this problem. Overall a nice comfortable hotel for the money, with restaurants close by and a short walk via the shortcut beside the monkey forest through to Ubud central.

A lovely balinese hotel”
Check in was easy and efficient. Given a welcome drink and cold towels. Staff helped with our bags to our room. I had asked for a quiet room and we were right at the back. A beautiful room and excellent aircon and lovely bathroom. TV with English movie channel and good WiFi. Excellent location right beside monkey forest and the shuttle to Ubud markets very handy. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Beware the monkeys by the pool, one wee'd on my son and they chucked fruit at us and tried to steal my bag. It would have been funny to watch. Only concern I had was a rat dropped to the floor beside the bed one morning.. I called reception and 3 men arrived with brooms but to no avail.. There are gaps in the walls in the bathroom and the hotel is in the middle of rice fields. Anyway, no further sign of the rat and not something we haven't encountered previously in Asian hotels even very expensive 4 star ones. Would still reccomend

Hotel very nearby Monkey Forest Sanctuary”
This trip to Ubud, I had spent 3days 2nights at this hotel where its location is very nearby Monkey Forest Sanctuary which you can reach within walking distance. As the location is close to Monkey Forest, most of the times, some monkeys could come out from their nature place to road and even cross to hotel or cafe around. To reach to City Centre, there is a shuttle service with scheduled time which requires to reserve in advance. The room is quite spacious with balcony face to trees, however we still could see a small pond plus few blocks of rice paddies from the corner and at bathroom, there is a real big view of rice paddies which you could enjoy the view while doing bathing. The toilet tissue papers were not good as standard as its material has paper ashes everytime we use/tear it. The location for trash bin also is on the bottom of the place of toilet tissue roll sticked and it's not really hygiene to use toilet tissue roll sticked on the wall as every time we open the trash bin, the trash bin cover automatically will touch the toilet tissue. There are also some dusts around tables and chair as well the wall painting. Talk about the wall painting, the painting looks quite scary as its located on the wall next to bed with eyes of the person in painting looked right to your bed (it also means looked at you when you take a nap at your bed). Overall the staffs were so friendly and their services were sincere from the heart whom I truly & greatly appreciated. The foods are nice and tasty as well the cocktail was a good thumb. pleasant stay ”
I stayed in Saren Indah with my husband and sister. I had a garden view room wich was clean, big and had a great garden at the front. The hotel is not huge but rooms are big and has lots of green areas. Everything is well maintained. Pool area is good too. There is free wifi which has excellent speed connection. The staff is very friendly and flexible. As the hotel wasn't too busy, they were happy to arrange free shuttle to Ubud central to my most convenient time. Ubud central is 20mins walking distance and there are quite a few restaurants on the way from the hotel to the main Ubud area. The Monkey Forest is 2 mins walking distance from the hotel. Due to this, you get to see a few monkeys walking around the hotel (so cute). The whole atmosphere is quiet and relax. I definitely recommend this place.

Peaceful Hotel”
It was a peaceful nights and days. Me and my wife was on our honeymoon and clueless about Ubud. Luckyly the hotel was located just 50m from the rear entrance of the Monkey Forest. From the Monkey Forest there's a small road just beside of it, big enough for motorcycle but very dark at night, heading towards the main road of Ubud. Please be careful when walking on that road at night as you NEED light from flashlight. From there we usually have our lunch and dinner at the local restaurant/ Warung. Overall Ubud is a very recomended place for enjoying tranquility and to have a peaceful vacation and staying at Saren Indah Hotel supported us in having one. Can't wait to go back and stay in Room 114 again!

Great place, great location, great staff”
We loved our stay at Saren Indah and first time stay in Bali. Staff was helpful, attentive, rooms spacious and clean, food excellent. We recommend the spa package for 2, a wonderful experience, delightful dinner and traditional dress to go with it! It is close to Ubud center and shuttle available, but easy to walk to, through the Monkey forest. Definitely worth another visit

Great Hide-a -way”
Saren Indah in Ubud is a real gem. Secluded and laid-back, set in an active rice field operation. We watched as they prepared the land and planted a new crop. Large comfortable suits, very private. A very nice pool. The staff cannot do enough to accommodate your requests. Just a ten/ fifteen-minute walk through the Monkey Forest to the heart of Ubud town with its shops and night life. There are some nice restaurants in the immediate area as well as great massage facilities. We were so relaxed we didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend for a little sanctuary and good down time.

Exceeding expectations”
My stay at saren indah was unforgettable. It was an escape from the stressful world, the hotel provided peace and quiet where i was able to destress and relax. Customer service was excellent, the staff was attentive to our needs, has good command of the english language. The hotel room was very clean. For the breakfast, i can say that the fried rice was very delicious. Perfect place to stay in ubud....

Pros: -Very nice surrounding (quiet but not very far from the action, garden, rice fields, visits from monkeys...) - Staff is very nice and always smiling: they do everything to make your stay comfortable(they provided an extra bed for my son at the minute we checked in, they came pick us up with the shuttle even if it was not scheduled) -Nice breakfast buffet -Rooms are very clean -Great massage -Kids loved the visits from the monkeys Cons: -Wifi in our room didn't work for 2 days out of 6, but worked in restaurant and pool area -Pool could use a little bit more love (water was a little cloudy but we had fun in the pool anyway!) Overall a nice stay at Saren Indah. We definitely recommend it!

An authentic Balinese hotel with a beautiful environment and kind staff”
We stayed here for our Ubud portion of our Bali trip. It is a bit away from the Ubud center so not the most convienient unfortunately but they do offer a complimentary shuttle. They are also right next to Monkey Forest so many monkeys can be seen on hotel grounds. The staff is very friendly and did not hesitate in assisting us. We were given a discount on 1 hour Balinese massages and they were amazing! Our rooms were clean and did not have many bugs as one might expect in a tropical environment. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and felt it was an excellent value. I would highly recommend this hotel and would consider staying here again the next time I'm in Ubud.

Very nice hotel to stay with much green space. Its close to main ubud downtown area. The spa massage was great. The hotel restauarant has good food and prices. The staff were friendly and helpful when you asked them questions. I would stay here again if i was in ubud.
