The staff are incredible, facilities are great, beer is cheap. I felt so welcome and relaxed. It was quiet but met a few people during my stay. All were very cool people. The perfect place for the summer! I will return for sure

There was only one bathroom on the ground floor. It was a cool one but sometimes one needs to shower at the same time as someone else. Maybe upstairs was better. I would have liked to stay in a sunnier room with more space.

Location is little far from centre but it dosent matter because tram station was very near. At night, its bery quite. And i really like their interrior concept and when i was arrived, they had yoga(?)class! Clean, comfortable bed, well-equipped. I really want to stay more night at shantee house. Highly recommended

Nice hostel close to Kelenfold train station”
I stayed in this hostel only for 1 night as early morning I had to catch a train from Kelenfold train station. It is just 20mins walk away from the hostel. Also, using trams or buses it was easy to get to the centre, only 10mins away or even it was possible to walk 40mins. Staff was very nice and quick in doing the check-in. Even helped with tram tickets. Hostel was clean and good value. Just in the summer it might be a bit hot without air condition.
