Just above the Uenohonmachi station, this hotel is great if you're going to be frequent on the Kintetsu Line. Spacious rooms with great service from the staff that helped us with bags after seeing us with a toddler.

Glad that we have booked into the Premium King room for our 5 nights stay at the Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka. 1. The room & bathroom was clean, spacious & well equipped. 2. Bed was very comfortable. 3. Free WiFi & LAN connection in the room. 4. Staffs at the front desk speak very well English. 5. Direct access to & fro Kansai International Airport via the Airport Limousine Bus. 6. Right next to Tanimachi 9-chome station which is located below the Kintetsu Departmental Store. This station is only 2 stations away from Nanba Station on Sennichimae Line. Overall a great stay.

i stayed at the sheraton miyako hotel osaka with my husband. as we arrived from australia in the evening it was great to be able to get the airport limousine bus straight to the hotel. the staff were very helpful and friendly, providing maps and advice about sightseeing and restaurants. the room was impeccable - beautiful crisp clean sheets, spotless bathroom and an amazing view of osaka. if we return to osaka, we will definitely stay here again!

Considerably convenient location, relatively old”
It's a safe and economic choice of hotel in Osaka. The SPG brand is guaranteed, but sometimes it cannot fix all the problems the old Osaka Sheraton hotel has. Pros: considerably good location, near Namba area which is the most popular tourist destination in Osaka. Both Osaka subway and Kintetsu can easily connect to Namba station within 5 min, which is walkable distance. Just taking the elevator down to underground from the hotel, Kintetsu train station is right on B2 floor. Cons: Osaka Sheraton Hotel has all the old grandeur, which can noticed from the classic elegant lobby. Staff are all very hospitable. Sadly the hospitality couldn't save the old rooms. As long as you don't have too high expectation for the hardwares, such as wall papers, closets, Japanese style toilet and the A.C., the rooms could reach above the standards: very clean and the much bigger room than the most hotel rooms in Osaka. Sheraton Osaka is a very good choice for its price and location.

VALUE FOR MONEY”
The Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka is an older property and it shows. However the location is good, Kansai Airport bus link across the road so very convenient in and out. The hotel is located in the older section of Osaka so a bit of a hike to the subways, tourist areas etc. Our room was large by Japanese standards, clean and comfortable. The breakfast spread catered to all tastes but there a many local restaurants in the surrounding streets. All staff had a good command of English and request/s were handled efficiently and promptly. We secured a good rate through Agoda. Would we return to The Sheraton Miyako Osaka? Yas.

Helpful staff, nice lady Misaki Okui 奧井 美咲. I had lower back pain when staying in Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka and was difficult to walk. She accompanied me during the whole trip, in the ambulance to the hospital and back to the hotel. She is helpful and patient. She is one of the Japanese that speaks excellent English that I have come across. She explained clearly my situation to the doctor. Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka is nice, so as the staff and her rooms.

GREAT LOCATION”
We enjoyed our stay in Sheraton Miyako Osaka Hotel. The location is great. It's adjacent and just a few steps to Osaka-Uehommachi Station. The hotel is just beside the Department Store with nice shops, restaurants and convenience stores. There is a Limousine Bus service to and from Kansai/Osaka Airport (KIX). The hotel room is big, it is spacious even if you have many luggages. Will stay again in this hotel when in Osaka.

Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka is well located in the middle of city with both the underground metro and railway at its door. Apart from it s location there is nothing more to brag about. Sheriton being one of the international hotel brand, I would expect nothing less of its services and facilities. However, only upon our arrival we realise nothing is included as part of our stay. Furthermore, being a SPG Gold elite member, I realise that nothing was complimentary!! You have to pay extra for going to gym, swimming pool and spa as well. Room services were poor! Teacups or glasses were not washed or replace daily. Anything that you ask for you need to ask several times before anybody will attend to your needs. A real disappointment this time with Sheriton.

everythimgs went well, great hotel, good access to transportation connecting to anywhere. Easy for us to find a restaurants around the area. Lots of Shopping malls for me. Safe to walk around by yourself during night time. Many convenience store nearby for an emergency needs.cleanliness inside and outside of the hotel. And if ever I had a chance to go back to Japan, still I'll choose Miyako Sheraton Hotel. For me it's the best location.

The best thing I love about this hotel is that it is just beside the Kintetsu train station, as it is just one train ride away from Kobe and Nara, no transfers needed. So it’s great for exploring other places instead of just being stuck in the Namba area. Secondly it’s great that the airport limousine bus stops right outside the hotel. So convenient specially if you got heavy luggages. There’s a family mart, bakeries, coffee shop, supermarket, restaurants beside the hotel. Uniqlo and Muji are also behind the hotel. Don Quixote is walking distance from the hotel. Hotel room is clean, no complaints. Although the booking I got was without breakfast, and their breakfast is quite expensive. Although their rates are very reasonable, it’s cheaper than my original booking with Ibis Styles which is only a 3 star, while Sheraton is 4-5 stars, so i changed my booking to Sheraton. Overall I’m a satisfied customer. Will definitely stay here again next time.

Good location, very friendly staff”
I loved the location of this hotel. It was right next to the Kintetsu line (convenient for those who wanted to visit Nara and Kyoto) Next door, there was a shopping mall with supermarket selling alot of Japanese produce. There is also a bus station that takes you directly to the airport in less than 1 hour! The staff at Sheraton were super friendly and accommodating. They helped me book alot of restaurants in Osaka. Rooms were spacious. Bed was so comfortable, we fell asleep almost immediately after a long day of sightseeing. I would definitely come back again!

Comfortable and close to transport”
perfect for our arrival into osaka. limousine bus from the airport stopped right at the door and great value for money. we booked a fantastic agoda deal. from previous reviews we were expecting a shoebox but our room was a reasonable size. bathroom a little dated but all the amenities were there. on our first morning we were a bit unsure of where to go so had breakfast in the hotel. the continental breakfast was good value. plenty to eat. staff were really helpful and gave us lots of advice for getting around and helped with that daunting subway map. right next door to osakauehonmachi station and tanimachi kyuchome subway station is a couple of mins walk away. we found cafes in both stations for breakfast.

we were able to check in 6 hours early, and they held our bags for 8 hours so we could tour the city one last day. convenient limo shuttle to airport at the front door. highly recommend and we would gladly return to the sheraton miyako! we booked two rooms... one for son and dil and one for us.
