Amazing!”

Everything was absolutely perfect! The hostess is such a sweet and enthusiastic lady, you can't stop smiling when you're talking to her! She explained everything really well and replied super fast. Really helpful! The apartment is awesome, super clean, in the Buda area right next to the Matthias Church and the Fisherman's Bastion. A few supermarkets nearby, but we always went to a Lidl that was 16 minutes away from the place. To get to the Deli train station, it's about a 19-minute walk It is so cosy, and we had such a great time! We will definitely be back!

The property is in a quiet but great location. Just a short walk away from the Fisherman’s Bastion and at the bottom of the road there is a bus stop taking you to wherever you need to go in the city. Very spacious and cosy. Host is very nice and kept in regular contact to ensure everything was going smoothly.

Value for money stay in a beautiful apartment close to main attractions of Budapest”

A spacious and beautiful apartment in a quiet location, close to the Fisherman's Bastion, the Buda Castle and the Chain bridge (which, however, is closed for sometime now for renovation). The double windows do a good job of keeping out the noise from people going up and down the road to the Castle and the apartment is quiet enough to get a good rest (that is if there's no noise from the other apartments, as the building has an -beautiful- atrium and you could hear anyone making any noise in the balcony of any floor). The owner was very helpful with whatever we needed and we found spaces to park our car at all hours of the day. Very good value for money, and would be even more so if the Chain Bridge was open and therefore the center of Budapest was closer by car. Negatives: First and foremost the cleanliness, although not bad at all we did find a food crumb on the carpet, the area behind the bathroom sink and around the dispenser was not perfectly cleaned and the first fork we tried to use had hardened residue on it. There was no bracket to hold the shower head, which therefore had to be held by hand. However, since the glass door that seperated the shower from the rest of the small bathroom was at neck height, having a bracket for the shower head would mean that the whole bathroom would be splashed with water. Also, the hangers for the towels were on the wall opposite of the shower, above the toilet and at strangely high point, which meant that to get the towels it was inevitable to get water on the bathroom floor as well as the toilet. The sink was very small and too enclosed under the mirror cabinet, so whenever we tried to wash our faces, water would fall on the floor. Lastly as far as the bathroom was concerned, the whole space was very narrow and there was practically no shelf space to place our bathroom amenities. There was no trash can in the main room, just one inside the closet doors of the kitchenette, which was not very convenient.
Another detail that was a bit annoying was figuring out how the lights in the entrance worked. Although it was very nice having many options for lighting in the apartment, amongst the numerous switches we found no seperate switches for the bathroom, the hallway and the kitchenette/entrance lights. There was one switch for all three and it was in the main room, so if we wanted to have light in the entrance whenever we came in the apartment, we had to leave it on from the main room and turn off the main switch that was in the entrance and controlled all the lights in the apartment. Also, having all three lights turn on at the same time and having the bathroom wall and door be frosted glass, meant that when one of us wanted to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, the whole apartment filled with light and bothered whoever was sleeping. Finally, the parking. Although in our booking it was specified that there was parking on the public street with charge, what we didn't know beforehand was that there was a 3 hour limit to the parking and therefore we would have to return and feed the parking meter every three hours. We couldn't risk leaving it even for half an hour unpaid because the people responsible for checking the parking payments were in the area at all times. We also had trouble figuring out how to use the parking meter and since the owner of the apartment is a resident and never had to use it, she didn't know beforehand exactly how to guide us by phone (though it would be considerate as a host to use it once and know how to help the guests). It would have been helpful if we had known beforehand that the parking meter only takes forint coins, no banknotes, no euros, no cards and doesn't give back change. Thankfully the owner brought us change for the parking meter, but if we had known about it beforehand, we would have made sure to exchange some euros while still in the Pest side of Budapest.

I stayed at the apartament for 4 nights. The apartament was very nice and cozy. It was small but with all the facilities you would need. It was really clean and everything smelled good :) It was really close to the Fisherman's Bastion and Buda Castle and also not far from the metro station. The owner, Szilvia was very welcoming and nice to us. It was a good choice for what I needed.

Easy access to explore and be able to return to the room throughout the day.”

Szilvi and her husband were wonderful hosts. We were able to communicate constantly before arrival and she even offered to pick us up from the train station since we were arriving late. She has great insights and suggestions to explore nearby. The room is located close to a main bus station to cross the bridge from Buda to Pest. The room is also right beneath Buda Castle and steps from the funicular to get to the top. The room was quite modern and very comfortable.

Tranquilo y acogedor.”

El apartamento está situado en la falda de la colina del Castillo. Es un lugar muy agradable, tranquilo y seguro. Está bien aislado acústicamente, así que resulta muy adecuado para descansar o trabajar. El mobiliario es bastante nuevo y todo estaba muy limpio. La wifi funciona perfectamente. Para mí, el alojamiento ha resultado ideal. No obstante, se han de tener en cuenta algunas cosas a la hora de alquilarlo: 1) Es pequeño, de modo que es mejor para gente que viaje sola. 2) La cocinita está en un armario. Permite preparar platos muy simples, pero poco más. Para mí fue suficiente. 3) El acumulador de agua caliente es eléctrico, con la limitación que ello supone. 4) La casa se encuentra en una zona de bastantes cuestas pronunciadas, razón por la cual el acceso para gente mayor o con problemas cardíacos o de movilidad puede ser un poco dificultoso.

Le logement est calme et agréable. Il est également bien situé, (près du Bastions des pêcheurs, une merveille de Budapest). Au cœur de nombreux autres sites touristiques. Il donne sur un accès facile pour des petits commerces et également pour prendre les transport en commun.
Surtout ne pas oublier d'insister lors de vos échanges avant l'arrivée des voyageur que le paiement se fait en euros cash. Cela évite certains désagréments...
