centrally located, ideal base to explore berlin, close to zoogarten train station, wittenburgplatz U station around the corner, spotless hotel rooms, friendly staff, My room had a shower curtin (lots of reviews complained of not with wet floors) but I think sorat hotel have sorted that. Bottom line : if you want a reasonably priced central hotel without drama, then this hotel is hard to beat

Great for travelers on a budget”
The room was spacious and light. The bathroom was very modern, clean, and extremely well stocked. The only drawback was that the bed was not very comfortable. It was fine for a night but I would not want to spend several nights sleeping there. Other than that, it was an excellent place to stay, very conveniently located, and with very accommodating and helpful staff.

I’ve Ben quite lucky and found it on offer a few times . I stayed fantastic this last time . No one disturbed me , no noises , everything in the room worked as it should . It’s great value for money . Very relaxed athmosphere . Supermarket just downstairs . Kadewe and metro station just 150 mt away . Top pick for me

Cheap rates when staying longer”
I stayed at the Ambassador numerous times due to the fact that they offer very competitive rates the longer you stay. As has been said before, the rooms are a little outdated, but they are clean and well-maintained. Location very convenient close to U-Bahn stop. Staff is friendly and cooperative. The problem in summer is, that there is no fridge in the room, which I find an incredible mistake as it will scare away potential long-stayers who want to store foods and drinks as not everyone can afford to go to restaurants all the time. Also, there is no AC, which is why I will avoid the hotel in summer, even though I actually like it. Now during Corona-times, their restaurant is closed for the time being and no breakfast available. Room cleaning is only done by request which is okay for me under the current extraordinary circumstances.

Due to Corona, it is still not possible to offer our wonderful breakfast buffet, but don`t worry, our alternative is quite good: We are serving a small breakfast with bread rolls, butter, jam, sausages variation, cheese variation, coffee and tea. Good value in Berlin”
Very nice hotel in Berlin at a good price. Clean and attractive room and bath, good location, and 2 fast elevators. No AC makes it only 8/10 in the hot summer; the included fan and opening a window at night made it still pretty good.

The hotel is very close to the metro station, bus station, very convenient for travel from the airport and the sights in the city. Around a lot of bakery shops, EDEKA supermarkets. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

It was very handy to reach from the hotel anywhere. Nearby there are some nice restaurants, 2 chemistry shops, a huge number of shops for different needs. The position of the hotel is very quiet and safe. The room was very spacious and comfy. There was a possibility in the room to boil some water for coffee or tea. And there was awaiting me a 1-liter bottle of mineral water for free.

Nice and clean Hotel”
It is near to the train station and walking distance to major stores. We did the Berlin Marathon and stayed in this hotel. The staffs are friendly and they have croissant, fruits and beverage for breakfast. Will stay here again

Great accomodation for the money paid”
Me and my 9 year old arrived at 10 am from the airport and had no problem checking in that early (we sent an email before our arrival), no extra fee paid. Very good location, right near the Zoo. Bus 100 station right across the street, U Bahn 100 m away. So, very easy to get anywhere in the city. Restaurants, tourist attractions and shops in walking distance: KaDeWe, Berlin Bikini, Zoo, Aquarium, Kaiser Wilhelm Church. We paid just for the room, so no breakfast. You can pay for the breakfast at the reception if you want 15€ and childrend under 12 have breakfast for free. Our room was at the 7th floor, facing the street and we didn’t hear any noise from outside or from the other rooms. There is no fridge, no air conditioning also - but we had no need for those during our stay. The furniture in our room was outdated, the bathroom also (but we’ve seen through an open door that there are rooms that look better than our room). We didn’t mind these inconveniences because we would leave the room in the morning and come back in the evening. So, for a 3 night stay, it was absolutely great for us.

What I love most from the hotel is the location, as it's very near U bahn station and a supermarket. I find the bed to be a bit too hard for my liking, and the cleanliness of the bathroom could be improved.

Budget hotel but good location”
It is a budget hotel with walking distance (about 10 to 15 Mins) to most of the shops and malls. It is also near to the U Bahn station. Staff is friendly, room is decent, TV always bad signal at night. Free coffee and crossiant in the morning before 11am. No fridge in the room, but there is also free tea and coffee in the rooms. Bed is comfortable and warmer is working well to keep the room warm

Staff were pretty rude and unfriendly”
Although the hotel is convenient located near Wittenbergplatz, the staff made sure that such attribute was all flush down the drain. The room which i booked for was not the same that they had assigned to me when I checked in, and I had to request for a change of room. The receptionist were not the most friendliest to ask for directions or for suggestions - although I have read though most (if not all) of the reviews online about the hotel, I still decided to give it a chance given the strategic location of the hotel. Well, in short, the hotel is old and reeks of a 90s feeling like of 2 star hotel, it seriously needs a big overhaul of the rooms, as well as a total change of staff who are more approachable and service oriented.

The main difference between the standard category, you`ve booked, and the comfort rooms is as follows: comfort is renovated and additionally equipped with a coffee-tea set, as a special amenity you`ll have access to the lobby fridge with water, softdrinks, juice and beer unlimited and for free.
NO WORTH IT, PLEASE LOOK OTHER HOTELS”
The location quite reasonable. Few of Hotel Staff awfully served guest, I am encountering staff name Lisa Thief and she is the worse staff ever when she charging me for drinking water during my check out.. I did asked her before that to refill or placing new drinking water but she told I ask for additional drinking water and insist to charging me 5 euro.. I don't want to make any drama or scene because i’m fade up and give up with her action. Breakfast is terrible, is better for you to having a breakfast outside with cheap and lot of variety. Towel so small, room not so spacious. No fridge, you have to pay extra for additional wifi, no kettle provided unless you paying extra 6 euro. This is not a standard of hotel, when you have to pay more if you asked for toiletries. Definitely I will never comes again.
