All in all, it is decent for the price, if you don't expect much, and location is the main asset.”

Location is great. You are very near all the major attractions. And you don't even have to use a car or public transportation if you enjoy a good walk. Fow example, it takes 10 to 15 minutes' walk to Budapest Eye, even less to see the Synagogue or the National Opera. to go to Buda Castle, it takes a 40-minute walk passing by well-known Budapest streets, Saint Stephen's Basilica and over Elizabeth Bridge with a splendid view of the Danube, the city and other bridges. In the vicinity of the apartment there are plenty of restaurants of all sorts. A few grocery stores and a few dog parks should you come with your pet. There are a few obscure little streets in the area, but nothing to be considered dangerous, just a little rundown.
The lady at the check in was friendly and hospitable, but unfortunately, we have not seen her since. The checkout was very awkward, we were treated like we trashed the place (we actually left it clean and tidy) or like we stole something or running away with the apartment keys and without paying. Lady was very unkind, not even saying goodby or thank you or how was your stay, it was obvious that she just wants us out of there and the sooner the better, even though we were checking out on time (before 11 AM on a Sunday).

Comfortable apartment in a great location”

Great location in the coolest part of town for nightlife and eating out. Quiet and cosy apartment with a loft bed above the comfortable couch, separated from the kitchen/dining and bathroom areas.
Minor issues with a couple of kitchen stove burners and the microwave not working. The access to the loft was quite steep (wooden stairs, but almost a ladder).

Great location, bad apartment.”

Location.
Apartment had a verry bad smell, we later discovered that the carpets were full of urin. The problem wasn't solved till the day after so we had to put the carpets outside of the apartment and clean the floor ourselves the first night. The next morning they changed the carpets and cleaned the floor.
