Very comfort and clean I love to stay here”

Very very clean big room. And clean bathroom nice Host are nice and warm. Also provide nice fresh coffee and provide green tea in room. I do recommend this hotel

Relaxation”

Once I found it, it's on the river, the owner welcomed me in, showed me my room and left me alone. If I wanted something he was always around. I had the use of one of his bikes for two days, great for town but if you're going uphill any length with one gear you get off and push. He has a pond out the back with Koi in, and they are massive, the splashing they make is the noisiest thing there. He'll do breakfast and dinner if you want but you have to tell him in advance. The town restaurants are mostly within fifteen minutes walk, bear in mind most are closed by 9.30pm. The room is tatami mat, futon on floor, the bath is very hot but very nice after a day out, good scrub first before getting in. All in all a nice place to stay.

Our stay was pleasant, but the hotel offered limited amenities without much assistance from staff (aside from transport from and to train station.) We felt completely on our own to figure out anything about our room, and staff barely interacted with us and is not on premises at all times. Still, the location is nice on the river, and our stay was pleasant.

Misleading Hotel name as Spa Minshuku”

This is the most impersonal place I have stayed. I was planning to try out minshuku for once to try to learn more about Japanese culture but was utterly disappointed with this place. Upon arrival at 2.30pm, no one in the house. I waited to 3pm and finally a young man showed up to show me my room and went disappeared again .Throughout my 3 nights stay, there was not a single soul there until the day I check out. An older guy, I presume is the owner showed by to see me off. The hotel name Spa Minshuku is utterly a misleading catch! The so call spa is merely a share bath with a small poor as there is not shower equipped in all the rooms. Room is bare with no furniture nor a place to hand your clothings. The isolation of the place is really bad and it is freezing cold in common area. The place is about 20 minutes walk from the station but close to most attractions. Dragging your heavy luggage from station on icy road is simply not a fun thing to do. Not recommending this place.

Pleasant stay in a tradional Japanese Ryokan”

The stay was pleasant. Room was clean. It was a basic hotel. We did not realize that toilets and bathrooms were shared. We ate a traditional Japanese Breakfast one morning. It was good.

Like an overpriced hostel”

Staff great, breakfast great. Tons of stairs. 3 floors of tourists. Loud as can be. Pillows look like they were from 1980. Gross. Room was very small. Really needs a good cleaning. Edges & corners dirty all over the building.

e only is a bit far from e city, it take ard 15-20 min walk from train st with out luggage.

Ryokan near the morning market”

A little way out from the centre. Near the morning market on the river. Noisy rooms. Men's onsen is OK, but the women's was poor. Had to make up our own beds.

Bonito y muy caro”

Era la unica opcion que teniamos y estubimos solo 1 noche, la habitacion enorme y comoda -tradicional- el desayuno bastante malo, tipo japones tb. esta fuera del centro pero el sitio es bonito. El personal habla poco ingles pero muy amable

Una experiencia inolvidable!”

Fue fantastica, el dueño muy amable nos atendió muy bien. Disfrutamos del onsen y la experiencia ryokan fue inolvidable. Al otro dia el desayuno japones estaba delicioso, muy abundante y variado. Muy recomendable, nos encantaria repetir.

Je n ai pas vu le personnel de l hôtel durant mon séjour, ils m ont donné les clés et ensuite plus rien. Je n ai même pas pu demandé pour un petit déjeuner ou un dîner ou même des informations sur la ville .

Bien situé ”

Hôtel basic. Bien situé. Le propriétaire n était pas très causant. Les toilettes à l étage sentaient très mauvais. Ne vous attendez pas à un spa ! Juste un bain basic japonais dans une simple salle de bains. La prochaine je prendrai un hôtel normal moins cher

Visita di Takayama”

Il soggiorno presso questa struttura non è stato affatto male. Non c' erano altri ospiti quindi ho potuto usufruire della sorgente termale in piena solitudine. La posizione è davvero bella vicino al fiume e la notte si ode soltanto il rumore delle sue acque..L' unica cosa negativa è stato il check in..A me davvero spiace dire cose negative ma non facendolo, non rispetterei altri viaggiatori.Il proprietario non si è fatto trovare per tempo, ho atteso fino a oltre le cinque..Incredibile!!! Che dire poi la struttura va bene. Forse c'e' anche la possibilità di mangiare, essendo una minshuku, ma sinceramente il proprietario mi è sembrato molto spaesato..Certo ero l' unico ospite, capisco la bassa stagione, che appunto non dovrebbe mai coincidere con bassa professionalità..Saluti
