Great Choice for a Visit To Budapest”
We had been on a Viking Cruise for a week ending in Budapest. The hotel is Directly across the Chain Bridge and only minutes taxi ride from the docks. It is close to the tram station and walking distance to many great restaurants and city sights. The young man at the desk during the day was very welcoming and helpful in every way-a real gem for this Hotel. The night staff was not so helpful! I injured my foot and asked for ice for swelling. The simple response to me was- we have no ice. No suggestions were offered. My husband discovered ice in our Small freezer compartment in the room and I was able to use it. In contrast, in our next hotel in Vienna, the desk manager couldn’t have been more concerned and got ice for me in addition to other suggestions to relieve the swelling and inquired about my foot the next day!

Starlight was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, largely due to the fantastic staff and their service. The rooms are large, bath very nice with huge tub. Breakfast was fantastic, hot and cold options. Istvan, (Stephan) the manager did everything he could to make our stay easier...booking tickets, making calls for us, even baking us fresh croissants while we were waiting for our night train! Large and cozy hotel i a very good location”
It was right next to Four Seasons Hotel and we could see the chain brigdge from the street in front of the hotel. It was only a couple of minutes walk to the bridge. It was also close to the metro station. Walking distance to many siteseeing places like St. Stephan cathedral. There were nice streets with lots of good restaurants near by. The room has a large living room and a bed room, which was large enough for two of us. The hotel staff was all very helpful and friendly. I'd recommend this hotel to any friends who will visit Budapest.

Great Hotel in a Great Location”
We really enjoyed our stay at your hotel. The breakfast buffet was good, the staff were friendly and helpful, our room and bathroom was clean, and the location was superb. A short walk from the Metro Station where you can buy the 24 hr pass and the bus stop of Bus#16 which will take you up to the Castle District. It is also close to the Tram #2 stop which can take you from the Central Market all the way up to Parliament. St. Stephen's is close by with lots of restaurants and coffee shops to choose from. Pros: Great location close to Buda Castl and public transport. Many restaurants at doorstep. Hotel staff were very professional. Enjoy free croissants, bakery and coffee for breakfast. Room spacious and clean. In short, one of the best stay in Budapest centrally located hotels at a fraction of the cost of similar properties.

I did't spend a lot if time in a hotel due to business purpose of visiting Budapest. But suite is big enough to feel as you're in a small appartment.

This hotel situated in a very strategic place. Indeed sofitel four seasons....etc all situated around it . With the price kf this hotel u cant ask for me. The danu river just nearby the hotel. Highly recommended if u want to stay in the city centre but paying the price of a lower end hotel.

a great surprise huge suite unbelievable location”
we had a great stay. The room was surprisingly big and comfortable. The location is just in front of the Dune river and chain bridge. It was a surprise to get a continental breakfast althogh it wasnt included in our deal. The staff was friendly and helpful. The weather was realy hot, the condition was weak, and the sleeping room was realy hot and without air. We asked the staff and cuoldnt help. Wif

Great Location”
The hotel is situated less than 5 minutes walk from the Chain Bridge and the river. The suite had a large living room with a little "kitchen" area (microwave, utensils, washing up bowl, minibar) , bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast is eclectic and very good. The area is great for bars and restaurants and is only about 10 minutes walk from Deak Square which is a transport hub and the drop-off/pick-up point for the airport shuttle. Friendly and helpful staff who will arrange any visits or excursions you want to do.

Huge, comfortable room”
We loved our stay at this hotel. The room was almost like a flat, with a separate bedroom, living area and bathroom. It was huge, comfortable and clean. As a bonus, free pastries and hot drinks were provided every morning in the lobby. It was wonderful to just relax with a croissant and coffee/tea before we headed out all day. Thoroughly recommended.

Good location to access city centre restaurants, bars and tourist attractions. Spacious classic apt. Comfortable beds, seating and good sized bathroom. Good continental breakfasts with minimum cooked breakfast. Staff always helpful and pleasant. An excellent location to stay.

Nice Hotel - Good Loacation”
Very friendly and helpfull staff. Christmas Market is only a 5 Minutes Walk away. The rooms are spacious and clean. Many good restaurants nearby. Casino is next door. Only thing i did not understand is that they ask for 15 EURO for Breakfast. The buffet is small with not so many choices. So breakfast is totally overpriced. Parking is possible in the hotel carpark. Very easy to reach, but 20 EURO per night.

Good suites”
These are suites as opposed to standard hotel rooms, much better for any lengthy stay. It was a clean, spacious, well equiped suite, tv in the lounge and in the bedroom, with a limited kitchenette with microwave. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's centrally located. There's a gym downstairs though I didn't check it out.

Disappointed ”
The photos were so much better than the actual “suite”. I was very disappointed. This is more of a 2-3 star. Nothing close to a close a 4. I honestly do not think it is worth its price. The only thing great about this place is the location and if you are looking for a huge space. The guy at the reception is just okay. He was not rude but not the most helpful person too. The breakfast is simple, I would not pay extra for it if only it did not automatically came with the room. The cleaning lady is bad. She does not take out the trash when she cleans, opens the door after 1 second when no one answers (she did this twice). The rubbish from the previous occupant was also still inside the cabinet. I will not stay here again.
