Close to amenities and Fushimi Inari”
The staff is extremely helpful. Saya friendliness at check in and her willingness to show us (another traveler and I) Gion after work is very memorable. The accommodation is close to the Fushimi Inari station and the Inari JR station, not to mention the shrine for an early quiet hike. The place has everything I need, even comes with cables for all types of phone which is helpful as I forgot mine for power bank. The room is very clean, even have my own little zen garden to admire. I hardly use the shared areas apart from toilet and shower, which is clean. Snacks available for purchase onsite. I had huge problems with Agoda for this accommodation, but I think it is more of Agoda problem. Agoda and my Google calendar is out of sync so it registered as booked for 2 nights when I intended to stay for 1 night only. This was re-mediated with the staff via email. Again, on Agoda, I had managed to get a room for 3 people for myself, which is a luxury for me, but wasteful for the business.

only for 150 m from the station, the room was clean, but the toilet litte bit dirty. we get 2nd floor room, the hotel rule said that for woman we can stay in the 1st floor, so we just have to go down to the woman toilet, the stair is very small, its not fit for big luggage

Super close with Fushimi Inari”
Only 3 mins walk to Fushimi Inari, one of the tourist attractions in Kyoto. I made a self checkin because I’m arrived at 9pm. The hotel sent me a message about room and passcode for lobby access. The hotel give us a free snack up to 100 yen. It’s amazing. The kitchen was good and clean. The room was good, i like futton style. But the trouble was a microwave and hot dispenser were broken. So when i need hot water, i must go down from 4th to lobby (no lift here) huhu and the stairs was on outside the hotel. But, thank you! I would come back later when I visit Kyoto.

The Japanese room was nice.”
The hotel was nice. We can feel the Japanese house and the ambiance was totally Japanese style. We love our accomodation and the staff was friendly. She really helped us on the things that we need especially when we had the laundry as the washing machine was in Japanese character. She was really kind and patient with us. We will book with them again if ever will visit Kyoto soon.

Great place”
Location is close to 2 different train line which is very convenient for us. Got few convenience store nearby. If you plan to go to Fushimi Inari at sunrise then this would be the best place to stay as it is within walking distance.

Good location and a comfortable stay”
near fushimi-inari station, come out the gantry and turn right, you will then see lawson, turn right and go straight, you will see koto inn on your left. just be very cautious as there is another station named inari, we checked with the local ppl, he is the driver of the train at Kyoto station, he told us no need to change the train and it is 2 stations away. we ended up at inari without knowing because we show him "fushimi-inari" yet still can get wrong. end up pay extra and walk 1 big round with luggage is no joke at all. if u alight at inari station, then u should turn left then walk till a junction turn left again, and go to the hotel using Google map. very close by inari shrine, walking distance since it is right opposite of inari station. We did not interact much with the owner as we are too tired with the walk but they seems very friendly and kids love this hotel so much that they request to stay more days, free small little candy up to 100yen each. the cons is you have to get ready to carry the luggage up the stairs, we stayed at 2nd floor, the owner's son (I believe) is very helpful to help us carry the luggage. we really enjoy staying at this place, feel so like at home and amongst all 3 diff hotel that we stayed, this Koto inn's bed was the most comfortable bed. all other friends commended the same.

More than expectation”
We were so surprised when seeing the guesthouse. It's overexpected. The staff is very friendly, speaks English fluently and supports us so so well. The room is comfortable. It's worth. Facilities are good for a guesthouse. The location is quite close to the Fushini Iniari Shrine, very convient if you want to visit this attraction early in the morning when there is not much crowded and you can take nice shoots there. Not close to the centre, but hire a bicycle and explore Kyoto. It's a good experience :) Will definitely recommend my friends! Thanks Stay Inn Koto for treating us good time in Kyoto:)

This place is close to Fushimi Inari Station and don’t use Google maps when finding the place”
Once you step out of Fushimi Inari Station, turn right and walk straight ahead until you see Lawson. Once you see Lawson, cross the street and turn right then walk straight ahead. You should be able to see on your left a cake shop, a beauty shop then next to it is Stay Inn Koto. You will know that it’s already the Inn if you see Shiba dog stuff toy in their display and some bikes parked on the side. Opposite Stay Inn Koto is I think a church. Please do not use google maps as you will get lost just like what happened to us. Overall our stay is really nice and they have big bathrooms with shampoo, body wash and extra towels aside from the ones you have in the rooom and you can request for more if needed. Good exercise as well to climb their stairs but worth the view too. They also provide snacks that you can eat and you can get up until 100JPY worth of snacks. You need to pay for detergent if you need to do laundry. They also provide microwave, ref on each floor and for utensils you need to go to the main floor kitchen to get it. If your check in time is before 11, you can go to the backside entrance by turning left then you can leave your things while exploring the area.

Best Place so far :)”
I stayed here two nights and I had a great time. Very good for socializing and the guys working there were super nice, friendly and helpful and I had a lot of good laughs with them and the other guests. If I come back to Kyoto I would definitely stay again. It's very close to Fushimi Inari and Inari Station and to the Inari Shrine. The place was clean and they have two kitchens. Just one request: change your name on the booking site ;) there is another "KOTO Guesthouse" - I was waiting a long time at the wrong place because I searched it over online maps ... so take care you get to the right place (or maybe I'm just dumb ^-^). You can leave your luggage before or after check in and they have maps available at the hostel. Locker in the room comes with a padlock, and we also had a table in there which was very convenient. stay Inn Koto is great place to stay with humble staff. Facilities is complete like a washing machine, iron, stove, kettle, plate , spoon, glass, etc. All Free. my child comfort to stay there. the jappanese room is large and clean with large garden. If you want to check in above 8pm , u can send email to them and u can check in with yourself. so easy. near from fushimi inari station only walk for 5 minutes or if you have a JR pass u can stop in innari statio and walk for 7 minutes. you can buy a gift around fushimi inari everytime u want because the place near from it. nice place to stay :)

This is actually the Stay Inn Koto not Guest House Koto. The Inn is next to the JR station, great restaurants and the Shrines. The space is very clean and well kept and the staff was super friendly.

The address is different than the one google maps gives so be careful! The guesthouse is actually less than 5 minute walk from the Fushimi-Inari Station. We were pleasantly surprised when we came to the right address and it was so close to the station. The house itself is very clean and organized. We had the Japanese style double room on the first floor which was connected to an outside terrace. We slept on mats on the floor and it was really comfortable. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the owner even provided drinks for us in the room. Also, she provided a booklet of useful Japanese phrases, directions to groceries, etc. The toilet was One Piece themed which was very cute! The bathroom was large and very clean. Not to mention, the guesthouse is literally less than 10 min walk from the Fushimi-Inari Shrine itself, which was great, and surrounded by lots of cafes and restaurants, etc. Overall, when I return to Kyoto again, I will definitely book this place again.

Simple, clean, great staff. Make sure you use this address only: 1-6, Suzutsukacho, South Kyoto, Kyoto, Japan 612 0011. Otherwise you will be walking an extra 20 minutes over to a back alley guesthouse also called KOTA. The guesthouse KOTA with dorms and Japanese rooms on this site that you want to book is a 2 minute walk from the Fushimi Inari temple bus stop on a main street.

Convenient location with train stations (JR & Keihan) and local bus stations too. 5mins walking distance to Fushimi Inari Shrine & you would want to get there early before the crowds go. Many nice food shops around to & a big LIFE supermarket nearby. There’s also a direct bus 105 to the airport limousine bus stop too. Clean place. Have all the necessary facilities needed (room with aircon, thick duvet, personal lockers, bath essentials, adapters & charging cables, fully equipped kitchens) I would definitely go back here again & recommend to all my family & friends who are visiting Kyoto

This is probably one of the best places to stay in Kyoto. Aside from their proximity to the train stations, the staff are very accommodating and attentive to your needs. The house is well-equipped with all you need and the floor I got assigned to just shares the bathroom with one other. Hence, there's not a lot of waiting time. They even have a kitchen where you can cook. The best part is the label/instructions they put on all equipment - making it very user-friendly especially to us who don't understand Japanese. Highly recommended place!
