Fantastic location and wonderful staff ”
It was the perfect location for our 4 night stay. We upgraded to the Grand deluxe room and it was the best decision. The rooms were all generally spacious and very clean, but our upgrade meant we faced the square & sunset, with large windows that filled the room with light. Everything you need is at your doorstep, and the staff are wonderfully accommodating, friendly and helpful.

Great location and exemplary staff”
A very clean hotel with staff that are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend the deluxe rooms facing the square, with large windows & a wonderful view of the Frauenkirche. The hotel is also just a 5-10 minute walk to most of the must-see sights of the old district (Zwinger palace, Semperoper, Albertinum, Dresden Castle etc) and there are many restaurants and bars at its doorsteps.

Lovely hotel ”
This was a very lovely hotel and in a good location. The room was very comfortable. I was a bit surprised that I had to pay 25 euro for parking as I had chosen a hotel ’with parking’ and I am used to that meaning complimentary parking, but that is probably my own fault for not researching properly. Other than that I was very happy with the hotel and had a lovely stay.

Fabulous hotel in Dresden”
I spent a week at the Steigenberger Hotel de Saxe in Dresden for work and everything was perfect. The breakfast was good, the room was good, the sauna area was great and the staff were excellent. I write this whilst staying at the Steigenberger airport hotel in Frankfurt and I will be using and recommending the Steigenberger chain from now on...my personal experience is that they are always fantastic value for money and provide excellent home from home.

this hotel is good because it location is in the centrum of old dresden(surely the major tourist attractin of old town of dresden.when you feel tired from visit palace, museum and shopping you can go back to your room for some relaxation.The bad part of this hotel at this moment ( and for the whole town of dresden) is thre are too much construction and renovation surrounding the hotel . In my oppinion may be after 2 years every thing shold be finished and that period shold be the best period of visitting dresden.

Luxurious stay in Dresden at Christmastime”
Ideal location next to the Frauenkirche, where I attended a concert of the Dresden Symphony and Choir, and across from the lively Christmas Market during my stay. Highly recommended if you are in Dresden to see the rebuilt city center and its sites. Room was immaculate and richly appointed.

Not a 5-star hotel, staff not very helpful”
It is close to attraction, but on the other hand far from the railway, about 20 minutes walk. Not a luxury hotel, everything is just so-so. Staff is not very helpful.

Clean and Nice Restaurant Staff”
Room is very clean, location is just a few steps to main sightseeing. I really happy for the staff in Breakfast Restaurant, I was 2 days there for breakfast buffet, food are good, and the staff are excellent, really appreciated. I had a good start everyday during my stay. The only disadvantage is the room too dark.

Bei Auslandreisen ist es für uns essenziell, dass das Hotel über Wifi verfügt. Leider ist das Netzwerk derart langsam, dass es ehrlicher wäre anzugeben, dass das Hotel über kein Wifi verfüge. In dieser Preisklasse SEHR ärgerlich. Alles andere ist gut bis sehr gut, aber verfügbares Internet ist leider ein Killerkriterium.
