Steigenberger Hotel in Hamburg is just Amazing! The rooms are clean and well kept. Top rated amenities and facilities. Location is right smack in the city center. The outlet serves really good breakfast - no need to go out early in the morning. What really sets them apart is the service level. Everyone is so friendly, attentive and responsive. Such an affordable price for a hotel in this service class!

Can't think of any drawbacks. Excellent view over a very picturesque Hamburg canal. Very good room and splendid price/quality ratio. Had Steigenberger a hotel in Hongkong or Singapore i would never get this price for sure. A swimming pool wouldn´t hurt but that's a mere detail. My second Steigenberger. Very happy about my stay.

Luxury and spacious, a good choice”
We enjoyed our stay in Steigenberger Hotel. We were offered a spacious room with a great view of the canal. Stuff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is 29 euro per person, a little expensive, but ok for a 5-star hotel. Walking distance to shopping streets.

Pleasantly surprised. Great location, very close to U and S train stations. Good breakfast. Excellent service. Decent rooms for a very reasonable price. Would absolutely stay here again. Was cheaper and better than our usual hotel in Hamburg. Guess we'll stay here now everytime we are in Hamburg

Nice 5 star Centrum located hotel”
superb location (few minutes from Neuer Wall / Rathaus / Alster Lake) easy to go via Subway (both S-Bhan / U-Bhan) you can use S-Bhan from/to Air Port Larger rooms than any other similiar price leveled hotel in Hamburg Centrum. BUT! BUT! their breakfast is not very qualified. they only serve very limited continental breakfast. so i recommend you guys have a breakfast in other restaurants rear the Hotel.

Great location, big rooms, very good service”
My stay at the Steigenberger was part business and part holiday. The location is really good. In the middle of town, within walking distance of shopping, restaurants and such. 24 euros for breakfast is to much. Generally I could say that this is a one of the 5 best hotels in HH.

Fantastic hotel”
A perfect jumping off point for exploring Hamburg. Close to everything a tourist wants to see. Comfortable rooms, excellent staff, I never ate at the restaurant but the bar was nice. My only complaint is that there was an extra 20E charge for my wife because supposedly the travel agent had booked a single. The room did not include breakfast so I can't see where the extra expense comes in. The concierge was not really able to recommend any restaurants on a Sunday. But seriously, it felt good to walk into this hotel and it was extremely convenient. My complaints are really minor. I would stay there again.

good hotel. staff is very helpfull and friendly (except one). good location near the center of the city, shopping malls and public transportation.Value for money is not that good. no free internet!!!. brekfast is excellent with different variaties of food.

Very comfortable hotel”
Very comfortable hotel in a very good location, just a couple of S-Bahn stops from the Central Station and on the direct line to/from the airport. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are very comfortable. I didn't try the restaurant but there is a great Italian restaurant just a few minutes' walk away right by the S-Bahn station. Great place to stay in Hamburg.

Not 5 Star...”
A big disappointment ! Steigenberger Hotel isn't a 5-star hotel & doesn't bare any comparison with 5-star hotels in Asia for example where much my travels take me. Stingy. Only 1 bottle of complimentary water on the first day & then none for the remaining 4 nights. Poor quality wifi requiring a hotel resident to sign in every time wifi connections are required. Irons & ironing boards provided but it sounded as though there weren't many as was asked the length of time they were required for but when Room Service was advised that I had finished, the Iron wasn't collected for another 2 hours. Breakfast buffet far too expensive. There's a great Italian restaurant which offers a full breakfast at half the price. Unfriendly welcome too from the bell team to the Reception Desk.
