I hate this hotel because I so wanted to give 2-star rating but now I cant because their service was that impressive to us. Damn! Initially we're disappointed because for the price we paid, the villa wasnt worth it. They probably spent so much on fixing up a nice warm pool that the budget for the rest of the villa was squeezed. The finishing didnt feel like a 5-star accomodation, the bedroom layout was unique but caused it to be crampy and hard to move around in the bedroom. NOTE: If you're booking for the first time, call the hotel directly to consult on which villas have better view and layout. I'd suggest going for their 6 initial villas they built because they have great views.(they're the ones on you see on the ads). The service, though, was impressive during our stay despite the number of guests (the entire resort was fully booked). They pay attention to the guests and would go out of their stations to serve. The bloke over at the omelette station remembered our effortful requests from the previous day and happily made it again. They would even drop what they were doing to run over to just grab the door for us! Not easy to get such service in such area. When we requested for something fetched to the villa, they're quick to respond although it was at night. Yes, of course, they dropped the ball here and there like forgetting a thing or two when they delivered our requests that they had to run back and forth. I wish they had done that a lot more that annoyed us enough to give a 2-star rating. I hate them cause I now cant. We'll be back, Sunsetfalls.

A villa my children would love to stay at for three days ”
Sunsetfalls villa (the mountain view type) where my family stayed at had a beautiful design with great materials and tools. It also came with a jazuzzi-like pool and a basket of fresh fruits, drinks, and snacks. We experienced Bali atmosphere when stepped in the reception hall and walked thru the villas. We could see two mountains thru the villa’s window. Sunset falls villa is definitely recommended for those seeking pleasant and memorable experience stay in Magelang area.

This villa easy to access. And the villa with 2 bedroom was huge for 4 person. You can add max 2 person to stay in this villa . With extra charge rp 500k per person include breakfast.

Room layout is terrible, room is not as good as in the pictures in the hotel website ”
Overprice compare to the room we got. The location is good, however the room's view is not to the mountains. The room is so humid. Layout of the room is terrible, we face the wall instead of the scenery promoted. Double room with a chair behind the wood partition at the kitchen (big kitchen drawers?????), It was unpleasant to sit. Positive point the staffs are friendly

Nice resort at the foot of Mt. Merbabu. Wether is quite cold with nice to Mt. Andong & Telomoyo. Recommended for short hideaway. All rooms have small private pool with warm water.

Suasana alam dingin sekali. Namun suasana hotel amat bagus. 2 lantai dengan basement. Amat nyaman. Dekat dengan area pariwisata. Makanan enak, namun pilihan makanan untuk room service terbatas. Jadi sarannya kita bisa datang langsung ke resto. Ada 2 pilihan resto. Very cool.

What a pleasant stay”
We stayed here for one night as the transit before heading to Semarang. We love the ambience, especially every spots in the villa. It is well maintained, and the warm private pool is a fantastic facility to spend your day for staycation in the cold weather as surrounded by 5 mountains. If you're lucky when the sky is bright, you can see these 5 mountains clearly. Breakfast menu not too vary but taste is good. They also have famous resto e.g., Cerita Kita and De Jardin. We will stay again to this hotel for sure.

We are staying in a unit with 2 bed rooms. The unit is good, very clean and comfortable. Staffs are very friendly and the service is good. But the unit is not friendly for old people.
