Nice Place, I Get 2 rooms type, one is cheaper but behind Elevator, the staff already warn me about noise from elevator. Actually nice room, and very likeable, since it very close to elevator. the view is great, we can see Fort Roterdam from the room. Second room is pool and ocean view, but i wish it was more quiet, first room have better noise instead (not very loud even when elevator work). In the second room, you can hear child playing from the pool at morning and dawn (even though pool is 2nd floor, my room is 18th floor), at night, you can hear sound from lounge and cafe at 20th floor. the only bad is, please fix the television, all channel is blurry on both room. overall nice stay, will be back here

I recently spent four nights at Swiss Belhotel Makassar as a solo female traveller from Bali. Fantastic location only a few minutes walk to Pantai Losari. My seaview room was very clean and the view was spectacular. I will certainly return again.

Pros: very good buffet dinner, not a lot of choices but were good quality options. Nice feeling hotel. Cons: we booked a non smoking superior room and on check-in we were told that there were no non smoking rooms available so we were allocated a smoking room. We were then told we could pay to upgrade to a deluxe room and this was a non smoking room. This didn’t sit well with us as most hotels would have just given a complimentary upgrade to allow us keep the non smoking room we had booked given their mistake of over-allocating. As non-smokers the smoking room made us feel sick, it had cigarette smell coming through the aircon all night. We were supposed to be staying here again next week but this experience was enough to cancel the booking. If you get the room you booked I’m sure it would be a nice stay.

Special mention to Wahyu - restaurant and Juliet - Gravity Wahyu - make the extra mile to assist me in my search for local authentic food. He gave me a ride to the recommended place and shared on the places of interest . Good communication skills and positive attitude in out serving customers. Juliet (or Julie) - she is able to communicate effectively with customer and pro-actively promote the faculties and beverages available. Her sincere engagement is very positive and attract customer attention. Both staff are exemplary in their customer service attitude and are the assets of the organisation. Kudos to both .

Nice hotel, great location but somehow the staff was not well-prepared”
We booked the hotel for 3 rooms during long holiday. The room weren’t ready even though it was 3 pm. The staff refuse to give a second card for our room. Fortunately, after a hectic check in, we had great times at the pool. The location was excellent, perfect for joging since it is near the Beach and the breakfast was also good, especially the croissant just fresh from the oven.
