Forgetfulness ”
The cleaner several times forgot to fill up tea and coffee .. and also toilet rolls so had to several times contact the reception.. who were very helpful

Hotel is a bit dated, my toilet had a weird smell and had to be shifted to another room, probably in a newer wing.

Very Disappointed”
The hotel itself is very well situated near to railway station and the main town area. The room was clean but that is it!! The bed was extreemely uncomfortble and the pillows were too. We had not chosen to have breakfast the following day but were told that if we changed our minds it would cost us 9 euros per person. We declined this offer but were told that if the following morning we did want breakfast after all it would still be 9 euros. The next morning we thought we would like breakfast and went to the breafast room. They asked us to first pay at reception which was not a problem. They said that we needed to pay 19 euros each. I explained the conversation with their colleague when we checked in and they said NO but did offer it to us for 16 euros. We went out for breakfast instead into the town paying less for 2 breakfasts than we would have paid for one in a cafe in the town. When we got back to ur room we were going to shower and check out however there was only one hand towel!!

From the moment I stepped inside the Swissotel, I felt like I was an important guest. This feeling was maintained for the entirety of my stay. If I ever need a hotel in Bremen again, I will CERTAINLY book a room with Swissotel. I was very impressed.

have stayed here on many occassions, family live in bremen, unfortunately the hotel is getting rather tatty now especially in the common areas, also bathrooms need updating, however i guess this is reflected in the room rate it seems much cheaper than previous trips. location is perfect and staff have always been helpful

Location is excellent, but car parking is troublesome”
Location is super excellent, as it's very near the town center, within walking distance. However, car parking is troublesome, as there's no onsite parking. Need to park at a multi-storey car park some distance away, and if you have large luggages, they'll be difficult to drag across the distance. Furthermore, when we were there, there were a lot of construction going on, which makes the walk from car park to hotel quite unpleasant. But the stay is excellent. The service is excellent. The concierge and lobby staff are all excellent.

We are aware that the parking position is a bit challenging for our guests as well as some noises around the hotel as well. Both are challenges we have to deal with do to our central location directly in the inner city of Bremen. We are offering to our hotel guests a cooperation with an public parking garage which is just 50m away from the hotel to have a safe and secured place to park the cars during their stay. The hints and address regarding this parking garage is already be given on our homepage to ensure a relaxed trip arriving to Bremen and to our hotel. Excellent stay in a great hotel close to the city centre. We only used it as a base because the fantastic XMas Market was on which is a must see sight

Excellent central position and great rooms”
Felt welcome from the moment I talked to the receptionist. The hotel is beside a tram stop on the airport route (number 6). 2 minutes walk and you are in the middle of town, 10 minutes and you are in the historic Schnoor district. My room had a recently upgraded bathroom with a large shower (powerful and plenty of hot water). Bed was amazingly comfortable, and the room was spotlessly clean. Thoroughly recommended!

After spending initial 4 nights here, I booked another hotel at Celle. Just one night there, I returned to Swissotel for my last 2 nights here. I rather take a longer drive to Celle from Swissotel than staying nearby. Swissotel is great and value for money.

Comfortable hotel - lift out of action”
Very good - although one of the lifts wasn't workinf which really slowed things up - waiting for ages for the lift, so took the stairs several times. Food ok in the bar - had a Chicken Caesar Salad one evening which was really poor - drenched in the dressing and some of the chicken was hard at the end of the strips. Bar was a little clinical but friendly bartender.

Stayed there for three days. Breakfast reasonably priced and tasty. Rooms 3.5stars tops, but ok and clean. Service was great. Late check out no problem. Gym/sauna area nice and clean. Overall good.
