Nice hotel ”
The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was available early and they let us check in, which was fantastic because we left early to beat traffic. The room was nice, three pools are fantastic. The hotel needs a little minor repair in a few spots but overall very good. Breakfast is a highlight with more options than normal and tastes good too. We have stayed at other nearby places and so far we like this property the best. The only bad thing is that there is no direct view of the ocean.

Great place to stay and with covid very reasonable prices, There is some renovations being carried out at the moment the top pool was closed, the middle pool was over chlorinated and was very hot with little shade being offered by the sun umbrella Breakfast is usually fantastic at this hotel but understandably has been drastically cut back mid week due to lack of guests If you would like a relaxing midweek break then I’d definitely recommend this venue

After 2 visits before, this was the worst.”
Shower curtain dirty. Soap dispenser in shower broken. Sealant between bath and surroundings incomplete and mould growing on it. Really disappointing . We will not be visiting again.

An excellent value for money hotel on Cha-am beach”
long time (10 years) staying at least annually in cha-am. first time at the tara mantra resort. booked 2 rooms in b section which were above expectation for the price in chaam. in comparison with similar resorts on cha-am beach the actual rooms were better maintained, bigger, better cable options, free wi-fi that actually works in the room and with beach views. another positive is the resort was disability friendly, which is not too often the case. also undercover secured parking was excellent. as expected the restaurants were good and staff of good quality and close access to the beach. only dissappintment were the size of the pools in comparison with other resorts. as main attraction is swimming and access to beach not a huge problem. an excellent choice for families with younger and older children to stay in cha-am.

i like cha am because it is more relaxed than other tourist destinations in thailand. it is lacking really good restaurants but there are many decent ditos around. the hotel restaurant at tara mantra is great with decent prices and a special touch on the food. it is great that you can just cross the street and use some of the hotels own sun beds on the beach. overall a great hotel in my opinion

Great location next to the beach”
Stayed over a Saturday on a weekend retreat in Cha-am. Nice hote, good location next to the beach at the north end of Cha-am. Staff was very service minded and always offering to help. Ample parking under the building. Rooms are a good size, nice quality finishes and fixtures although there is better for slightly more money. Could use a little more cleaning outside on the patio but I would imagine it's hard to keep the birds away. The resort has 3 pools and all of them are very nice, 1.5m deep. Food quality is good for the price. All in all, a quality experience and appreciate the very helpful staff.
