The best place to stay in Sapporo”
Before going to Sapporo I did some research on guest houses here in Sapporo to be sure I could make friends easily and stay in a cool guest house with a cousy atmosphere. Ten to Ten Nakajima Koen was the one that stood out and no wonder why : the staff is super cool, the facilities are really clean and the kinda retro looking wood at the bar is really nice. I was with a friend so I didn't hang out much there until the last two days but when I did I very quickly made some awesome friends and whish I would have hung out more other there. If you are looking for a unique experience then this is the place to stay at! (And it's super cheap too!) ;)

Amazing place to stay in Sapporo!”
I've been visiting Japan for several times already, and I can easily say Tentoten is one of the best hostel that I've ever been too. Coincidentally, this happened during my first visit to Sapporo. Location was good, if not decent. Pretty close to the Nakajimakoen metro station (a few minutes walking). 24H convenience stores are scattered around. Surprisingly, the hostel is also quite close to the night entertainment district (one of the big night clubs in Sapporo), but rest assured the hostel itself is quiet at night without any disturbances. The bar/café downstairs is amazing. I really appreciate the "daily welcome drink" that you will get everyday during your stay. Never had one before in other hostels! Staffs/bartenders are amazingly friendly, helpful, and communicative. They also speak impeccable English which is a very, very good point! There, you can also meet other fellow travelers in such a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. I managed to get to know some nice people during my 3-nights stay there. All in all, Tentoten is an amazing place to stay in Sapporo. I will go back there again someday! Thank you guys for the hospitality! *bow* p.s. please try their coffee and cakes. It shall brighten up your day, I guarantee it ^^

It was my first springtime visit in Sapporo (previously was wintertime) and I have to say that this city didn't lose any of its charm.. Even Sapporo is more beautiful with blue skies and sunny days.. Occasional cool breeze will definitely freshen up your day. Tentoten guesthouse also hasn't changed that much. It is still a very nice and cozy place filled with Japanese hospitality and great atmosphere. I feel the place is like my second home in Japan and I got to know (again) some new friends, brothers, and sisters there. I would like to express my gratitude to all the impeccable staffs, volunteer staffs, and other amazing people that I have met there, especially Sanae-san, Yuko-san, Saori-san, Daiki-san, Remi-san, Riku-san, Haruno-san, Yama-san, and everyone that I can't mention one by one. Definitely you guys are the best and keep moving forward! Cheers from hot and humid Indonesia!

Some of the English-proficient staff I've seen, friendly and easygoing atmosphere”
The staff were more capable of English communication, very friendly and easygoing. Easy to relax, two convenience stores within half a minute walk. Be warned there is no elevator, but most other needs are catered for. They have almost daily events at the front desk/bar/lounge area, but unfortunately couldn't see them due to my schedule. Location is somewhat far from Odori, but still within walking distance(within 30 mins). Considering the value, and that I wanted to be close to Zepp Sapporo for an event, it had the best value for my situation. I can't speak for the dormitory, but the family room was comfortable, with futons on tatami mats.

The staffs were very accommodating and friendly. They also know how to speak and understand English so I hadn’t had a hard time asking for info and talking to them casually. The location was also very good as it’s walking distance from the train station. Their “Rice Meal” (forgot the name! But it sounds like Kapao?!) was also a must-try! Overall, it was one of the best things in Sapporo or even in Hokkaido! 👍🏽

Location: very near to Nakojima koen exit 2, walking 3 mins Room: one shared bedroom in dorm (20 beds), cozy bed. Bathroom & restroom are great. It has refrigerator and washing machine. Staff: speak English well and warm welcome.

it was very nice stay it was near nakazima park so i could take a walk early in the morning the dorm was very clean but there was no lift so it was a little hard to carry my luggage upward but i will stay again if i go back to sapporo! :)

Exceptional”
I’ve stayed here for 4 nights with my friends for the last Sakura in 2018. The hostel is near by the subway. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast’s also good. Staffs’ here are so freindly. They’ve taken good cares of us with heart, especially Saori-chan,Midori-chan and Minori-chan. They adviced a good placed to see Full bloomed Cherry blossoms for us. They helped us booking a restuarant in japannese. They’ve done everything with smiles . Staying here is like staying at home with sisters. I hope that I’ll be back to this fabulous place again. Thank you so much for your warm welcome.
