Nice place if you only care for the basics. ”
It has all the basics: wifi, hot water, cable, clean room. The design is also chic and predominantly white, so it gives that clean feeling. The bed was a bit hard but I didn't mind it at all. Only one choice for breakfast and it was sauteed chicken with rice. It was pleasantly delicious but I would appreciate breakfast choices. The breakfast cafe was also far and you have to walk through the garden, so I'm not sure how you can get there when it rains. Maybe they deliver it to the room? But lots of small cafes and restaurants within walking distance so there is your dinner option. The kartipah complex is also a wedding house, so I would imagine if you happen to stay there when there is a wedding, it could get noisy and crowded. We needed a not-too-fancy-but-comfy place to stay for our short business trip and the kartipah hotel served our need.

Superb! Couldn't ask for more!”
I stayed here for 2 days alone and this place poped up through my mind coz i remember it is located near city center. At first, i though it was the guest house that i was to stay but the kartipah is devided into 3 area which are the hotel, guest house and student house. It was very satisfied. You will definitely love the kartipah itself with all the garden and diligently staf. The kartipah will be my prior place to stay whenever i'm in bandung :)

Unless you want to be in Bandung for staying only in hotel, The Kartipah won't be the option. But if you wandered Bandung a lot & want to have a good value of resting, Kartipah is the one. Clean sheet, good hot shower, cable tv & good location.

at first the name was quite 'kampungan' but when i reach there i say to my wife wow what a very nice and cosy hotel, the design very modern'minimalis' the room is very clean, staff were friendly and a lot of plus plus on this hotel... its quite reasonable price around 300thousand rupiah... will definitely reccomend this hotel to everyone!! thumbs up!! will deifinitely come to this hotel on my next visit to bandung!!

I once stayed in Kartipah few years ago with my family. This time I booked from Agoda. It was suspicious because the price is too cheap for a room I stayed last time. Found out, I stayed in the guest house last time, and they don't provide the guest house through Agoda. My booking this time was a room in 2nd floor, quite small room but clean. Not as what I expected, but more than enough to stay. Staff was also kind and nice. Will stay there again next time.

I choose the kartipah because it was so cheap. I use the room only for sleep. I arrived at night and check-out in the morning. if you want to find cheap hotel but equipped with standard-hotel facilities (spring bed, satellite tv, water heater with tea and coffee, and hot water in shower), I think you should choose this hotel.

One of the budget hotel I love. I've stayed few hotel in Indonesia and I have to say, staying in Bandung yet such a CLEAN, pretty environment and quite surrounding.. It's a great stay. Provided that you need to call a cab or have a vehicle to drive out though.

this is not the first time we went to Kartipah when we visit Bandung. we usually come here for wedding party or just to taste all the good food around Bandung area. but the last time we went to this hotel, the water heater in our room is not working. cold weather especially in the morning making this a bit uncomfortable. but rather than that, we would definitely come back to this hotel!

Great Hotel at a Great Price”
I would recommend this hotel because it is a good price and very clean. The shower was amazing-hot water and perfect water pressure. The staff was also very friendly and my boyfriend and I ended up staying an extra night in the end ;)

The hotel place is pretty close to everywhere. the white interior gives cleans feels, the big window is great The water pressure is sometimes uncontrollable, there are not much to do in the hotel actually, but its near everywhere, the room are small not suggest for travelling with big kids, unless booking for two rooms, the breakfast not so great (but maybe because i stayed on Eid)

I would recommend anyone to stay, you'd love the big windows and nice garden across your rooms. Breakfast is a bit too simple. Location is ok and a bit distant from busy Dago but only takes 8 min walking to get there. Love the hotel

Simple hotel with quite enviroment. Easy to get the restaurants and street foods nearby. If you are looking for a clean hotel to rest this is a hotel to choose. Get a minor problem with the toilet, but the staff can handle it well.

It was a long weekend and most of the hotels were fully booked or incredibly expensive. I chose the Kartipah because we arrived in Bandung at night. Just need a place to sleep rather than enjoying the facility. The Room was small but bright and clean. The bed was a bit hard for me. The toilet is clean. Hot water is working well. The location is very strategic, in front of the property there are a lot of street food and Borma supermarket. The rate was consider cheap and no breakfast.
