Great value for money amazing breakfast ”
I just stayed one night there with my partner but I would recommend for a longer stay. The hotel has a nice pool and breakfast absolutely amazing. It’s not Hilton if it comes to cleanliness but honestly all you need for the night is clean and comfy bed and good breakfast. Staff super nice will help you with everything you need

Probably the worst hotel i have ever stayed”
First, the parking building is dark and dirty, and pretty scary especially at night time, so better park outside in front of hotel. The hotel is big but seems really need some renovations. They are still using many old furnitures that not really maintained well. Elevators are old and one of them is really weird, because every times it stops, the overload warning is on, so we have to step out first and get back in. Room is spacious, but not too clean. I found red mark on the blanket, and some spots were not cleaned very well. That night rained, in the morning i found out that the ceiling on the window leaked (seemingly been long time wasn’t fixed), fortunately didn’t put anything below. Fridge wasn’t cold, and the AC also not cold enough. Other things are pretty standard which i’m sure many lower star hotels has better condition. Overall, not a hotel which i’ll visit back in the future, considering the price. Breakfast was good though, many varieties and tasty.

Avoid at all cost”
Never in my life have I ever been in a dirtier 4/5 star hotel in my life. The sheets have holes and a lot of red stain in it. The drapes were not attached properly, it just fell apart when we pull it. The wooden part of the window has been damaged and need replacing, and as soon as it rains, the water leaks into the room through the window. To top it off, there were cockroach in the bathroom. I’m not sure if the walls and doors are paper thin or the next door neighbor is just too loud, but basically I can hear them talking, opening, then shutting their doors, turning on their faucets, etc. When I asked for another room, they refused me. And the worst part is, when I called the operator, reception, even manager from the room phone, nobody pick up!! I think this is unprofessional and dangerous!! What if it was an emergency? Or security reasons? Please just avoid this dilapidated hotel at all cost!

Big abandoned old hotel previously known as Shareton Media... Totally old hotel..abit run down..not properly manage by the hotel management.. Air-conditioning is central which u will not able to adjust the temperature...hot room..

Good Service with Cheerful Smiles on every staff”
There are many friendly staff in The Media Hotel. As this is my first time in Jakarta, they really do provide me a lot of useful information on where should i go. Not only that, they do guide us what taxi company we should take due to they are provide better service & reasonable price. Near to the Media Hotel, you can find the Mangga Dua Square in less than 1km walking distance. There is 1 exhibition hall just next to the Mangga Dua Square.

Close to Jakarta Expo - and great hotel”
The first impression when entering the room was a memory of my first trip to Singapore, staying in the then Sheraton (its now a condominium); i.e. Media Hotel&Towers was originally developed under Sheraton - and the rooms reflect the Sheraton design. Actually, the room interior looks a bit old - but it is fully functional and you would not miss anything. The usual amenities for a 5 star hotel are available in the room as well as in the bathroom - if they do renovate, they should consider to replace the bath tub with a shower, though. The location is 5 to 10 minutes by taxi to the Expo and about 30 to 45 minutes to the airport. Despite the heavy traffic (the usual Jakarta problem) the rooms are quiet and offer decent sleep quality. The coffee house ay the 6. floor offers breakfast, lunch and dinner - and also has outside seating at the pool side. Besides the coffee house there are a few restaurants (THai, Chinese etc) as well as some bars and lounges distributed on different floors. Staff is great, service is excellent, whatever you ned, they will try to accommodate your wishes.

everyone helpful and a great hotel to stay in”
i had an absolutely great time at this hotel. there are a few 24 hour cafe/restaurant/bar areas within the hotel. the customer service was second to none. not only did they share money saving tips but they gave good and sound advice about getting around jakarta. they were always available and talked with a smile. they always seemed interested in your day and i felt like they wanted to listen and help me. the burger from the restaurant was delicious. they also have a beauty area which has hairdressers. i had a hair cut for 69000 IDR which i thought was an acceptable price although there are cheaper cuts available in the city centre. the manga dua shopping mall is walking distance and the hotel has a taxi stand within its complex for bluebird taxis (the most reputable firm) so getting around safely is a breeze, although the traffic and the way the rest of jakarta drive is appalling. the price at which i got 5 star service was also great. i would definitely come here again if i were to come to jakarta again. make sure to get the hotel marked on a map as some taxi drivers are unsure of its location. it used to be called something else.

Memorable, Exciting and Freindly”
The Media is the best place for you to stay if you are visiting Jakarta for shopping as the hotel is very near to the Mangga 2 shopping complexes. Despite the bad traffic jam , this place would be the nearest access to the shopping complexes. If you are intending to spend your vacation visiting fun and amusement area then the hotel is also not far from Ancol Dreamland and Dunia Fantasi. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Room is very comfortable and very clean.

Our 2nd Stay ”
I thoroughly enjoyed our 2nd stay at The Media Hotel & Towers and I would stay again. We needed to move rooms during our stay due to a problem with the water in the room (not evident to us as guests) but this was organised in a very efficient manner. With the exception of just one situation every staff member we came into contact with was extremely friendly and willing to please. This includes all the staff in the breakfast restaurant, the reception staff, room service and engineering staff as well as door staff. Each and everyone of them made us feel that they wanted to please us and made every effort to do so. I highly recommend this hotel for people seeing super comfortable accommodation in a convenient location with great guest service.

this is my 2nd stay at the hotel of which i will certainly stay in my future visits to jakarta. it is afford ably priced for a 5 star hotel. the room which i selected was located on the 17th floor which has its own lounge for breakfast and tea which is very convenient and exclusive. the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. the hotel is situated close to the mangga 2 shopping centers as well to several local food restaurants. also within close range to ancol dufan theme parks and the jakarta international convention center. great hotel

ok,there is free shuttle from airport terminal 1,2,3 .i arrived early morning in terminal 2(w/c has no place to sleep)so,i take the shuttle to terminal 3 to have a nap(has chairs to sleep on ,on 2nd floor)do set aside 150,000 rph as payment for terminal fee when going back home.from airport to hotel,the taxi cost 100,000 rph(toll gate fees included)blue bird taxi is highly recomended.for backpackers,TRANS JAKARTA is recomended as a mode of transportation,only 3,500rph per ride to whatever station u want,mangga dua itc mall,and block m are places where u will find cheap goods(shirts,pants,watches etc.)PLAZA INDONESIA N PLAZA SEANAYA MALL is where u will find high end boutique stores,for night life go to STADIUM w/c is only a few steps from the manga besar station,a girl cost 270,000rph inclusive of room(short time) for family enjoyment go to ANCOL,it has a beach,amusement park,waterrides park etc. and all of this places can be reach by TRANS JAKARTA(its like a mrt,only it uses bus not tren,doesnt have an elevated railway system,but a part of the road is exclusively to their use,so its faster to travel in the very crowded streets of jakarta

Even my trip to Jakarta during raining season and flood everywhere, i still consider this hotel is i a safe area to stay..the distance to mangga dua shopping heaven is within minutes of driving and its easy to get taxi too.the hotel is also easily connected to the nearest expressway if we were to go out of jakarta metropolitan.the staff is very friendly and willing to assist if needed.the nightlife is everywhere in this area of mangga besar.
