Great Location ”
Beautiful hotel - very clean and spacious room, with comfortable beds and great bathroom. The construction was not terrible and they accommodate the roads. Great location by the train with many shops and restaurants.

Awesome stay”
It was such a great choice to choose The Westin Osaka. Although it is not right next to the train station, it has its many strength with the clean and huge rooms, and very friendly staff. The subway station is only 10 minutes away on foot (It has many different subway lines for your convenience) and it is located right next to Umeda Sky Building. It is situated in the center of town but also away from hustle and bustle for tranquility. I will definitely come back to this property.

The Westin”
Great location not too far from the Osaka station. They speak English as well but I recommend calling them ahead to assist with shuttle service hours from the hotel and station. You can still walk to the Westin from the station, just need to go through some construction. Very high class atmosphere and service spent a week as part of a honeymoon and loved the location.

A luxury hotel”
A nice place to stay with good service. However it takes 10 min walk to Osaka station in week days without shuttle service. This is not convenient to traveler who has large luggage.

Our stay was awesome as we got a complimentary upgrade to an executive room on the 28th floor! Staff were very polite, friendly & helpful. Free shuttle bus from Osaka station to the hotel was definitely a plus & we love it that we can purchase the airport limousine bus tickets at the concierge & Westin hotel is the first pick-up location for the airport limousine bus! Our room was extremely huge & we had a lovely view facing the Umeda sky tower and downtown Osaka! Love the heavenly bed, the comfortable pyjamas & definitely the large carpeted dressing room which was separate from the bathroom! We were given a travel sized shiseido cleansing set which was great! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this 5 star hotel and we would definitely choose to stay here again!

Beautiful hotel slightly off the main drag”
We stayed at the Westin Osaka for a quick one night trip. Our biggest problem with the hotel was location, as it was a little off the beaten path. We couldn't find the underground walkway from the JR Osaka station and we had no clue there was a shuttle service, so we ended up walking well over a mile to the hotel, as it was visible from the JR Osaka station. Although it is slightly far away from entertainment, nightlife, and public transportation, it is right next to the Umeda Sky Tower, which is a huge tourist attraction in itself. The staff were incredibly attentive to our requests and since the corner room we booked was sold out for the evening, we were automatically upgraded to a junior suite, which was an amazing room. The rooms are HUGE for Japanese standards. Definitely enjoyed my time here!

Good service , location & good rate ”
Stayed for 2 night. They have frequent shuttle bus from hotel to osaka train station & airport limousine stop at this hotel direct. Very good & convenient. Staff very friendly & hotel is spacious though it's old but very well maintained and kept. I will definitely come back and stay in this hotel. If you are bringing kids or elderly , good to stay here. Next to hotel there's office building umeda sky building with old street restaurant. The shabu2 & okonomiyaki resto are good !! Overall very happy with Westin Osaka!!

Pleasant stay in Osaka”
Overall a very pleasant stay. Central location for exploring Osaka and easy train access to Universal Studios. Concierge staff was extremely helpful with info on Universal Studios and Harry Potter World. Courteous and professional hotel staff. Very clean and quiet room. Family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids ages 8 and 10), booked Deluxe Twin Non-smoking room. Room came with 2 double beds (US standard) and hotel provided an extra twin roll-away bed. Space was tight in the room with the roll-away, but not uncomfortable. Would stay at The Westin Osaka Hotel again.

Luxurious stay at a good price”
The Westin Osaka is located about 10 mins walk from the JR Osaka station, but the hotel provides a free shuttle service to and from the station and so there isn't a need to make the walk. Hotel is in what seems to be a quiet residential neighbourhood - not much shops and restaurants but not a problem with its proximity to the station. Family mart just closeby. Hotel is luxuriously decorated, very classy. Rooms are large and spacious, with nice bathrooms and plush comfortable beds, and very inviting. Free wifi is provided. Also has an indoor swimming pool facility. Overall great value for money, had a great stay here and would return again.

the hotel room is nice and comfort with big window and sunlight in the morning. it takes 15 mins walk from osaka station, however, the hotel provide shutter bus to connect the hotel and station which is very convenience for the guest. all the staff including the shuttle bus driver are very helpful and friendly with excellent service. we will surely stay with westin osaka hotel if we visit osaka again!

Great hotel and service”
The hotel is what you can expect from a typical Westin hotel. The room is spacious as compared to most of the rooms I stayed in Japan. The location is not that close to Osaka JR station but they offer pretty frequent shuttle bus between the hotel and the station. The journey takes about 10 minutes. The plus side of the hotel is definitely their friendly and professional staff. All staff we met for our 3 days stay there are extremely friendly and helpful. All of them can speak pretty good English too. Would definitely stay again when I visit Osaka next time.

This Hotel has it all- Luxury, Convenience and a great breakfast.”
This was our 2nd stay at this Hotel located right next to the Umeda Sky Building and within walking distance of Osaka Station- the Hotel also runs a complimentary shuttle bus to the station approx every 15 mins. The rooms are very spacious and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in which for me is a must after a tiring day exploring. Staff very friendly, breakfast buffet excellent with many Western options available. A few more Western TV channels would be nice so you could unwind with a movie at the end of the day. The only thing (and it's just a small thing) which was a little disappointing is we arrived at 1pm to check in after a long train trip to be told check in wasn't until 2pm but we could pay extra to have the room straight away (so it was obviously available). We opted to just store our luggage and checked in at 9pm after an afternoon out. When you pay for a 5 star Hotel and if the room is ready I would expect to be able to check in.

Spacious room, 10 mins walk away from JR Osaka / Umeda station ”
Pros: Room is very spacious for Japanese standard. Comfortable beds with a huge bathroom. We were lucky to have got the perfect view for sunset, overlooking the ferries wheel and the river. JR Osaka / Umeda station is 10 mins away by walking, or there’s a free shuttle bus that runs between the hotel and JR Osaka every 15-20 mins until 10pm. There’s a underground food street right next to the hotel and 2 convenient stores nearby. Con: Only down side was hotel guests had to pay additional charges to use the gym and swimming pool. It’s around JPY 1,700 per guest for gym usage.

Osaka is my favourite city after this trip to Japan and Westin hotel gave me the best experience there. The location is perfect, it's not far away from Train station and it's very close to the famous food street in Osaka. Staff were all kind and nice. Highly recommend Westin lounge with a very romantic environment and nice drinks. We'll definetly go stay there next time when we visit Osaka.

Exceptional”
I’m glad that I made the choice to come back to this hotel for my 25th wedding anniversary as the expression on my wife’s face was priceless. The moment she stepped into the room, she was blown away by the luxurious presentation of the room. The view that our room had was spectacular and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Westin Osaka truly was one of the major highlight of our 12-days Japan trip. Thank you for giving my wife and me an unforgettable stay.

We stayed at the Westin Osaka for a long weekend and found the hotel to be reasonably priced with an excellent breakfast, and pleasant staff. The location is close to Osaka station with a shuttle bus which will take you there regularly throughout the day. Alternatively you can walk approximately 15 minutes to the station if preferred. We would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Osaka for business of pleasure.
