This is my favorite hotel in Kyoto. the hotel is located at Karasuma Oike station. 15Mins walk to Kyoto Imperial Palace & National garden. Room is pretty specious and clean with laundry machine in your room. Their free coffee is the best compare to other hotel.

Good location and clean room!”
I’ve stayed in this hotel for 9days with a great view at high level (for attending international meeting), there are microwave and washing-machine in the room(u can get the washinpoder at lobby) so it’s convenient for business or long traveler stay. Also, they provides free drinks at lobby, nice traditional Japanese breakfast. Good location close to underground and bus stop as well as supermarket. Definitely recommend and will choose this hotel again when revisit Kyoto!

Within walking distance to the Tsukiji market and the Karasuma Okie station is just around the corner. The big plus is washing machine in the room with detergent provided. Supply of personal care eg face wash, lotion, etc are available at the lobby. We stayed in the standard queen room. Room size is compact but comfortable enough. Our friends were in the Annex (a different building on the same street) in the triple rooms. Rooms are clean and staff are friendly. Coffee machine and soft drinks provided at the lobby with magazines for guests to relax. Food at the hotel Restaurant is surprisingly good, too. We’re there for dinner the first night. Not many guests there so wasn’t very sure initially. It turned out to be delicious and good price. Overall very pleased with the stay and will stay again.

Right in the middle of Kyoto, this location is set back off of the main highway so it's very quiet, but let's you still be a brief walk away from the subway station and historical landmarks like Nijo-jo castle and the Imperial Palace. If I found myself in Kyoto again I would absolutely stay here again.

there are several sightseeing spots, nijo castle, imperial palace, rokkakudo, etc., nearby here. walking around is my pleasure. after exercise when i feel hungry, there are also several delicious bakeries, restaurants. i went to a italian where polite and thoughtful staff served heartfully cooked pasta. i like delicatelly sliced carrot on a salad and tiramisu both of which reminds of craftmanship of the owner. i want to come again. also, there areseveral good book shops nearby. i like an original book cover of OGAKI book store. illustration of a boy and a girl is cool❣️

The double room size was like the cruise ocean view room, but the bathroom is much larger with good bathtub. Clean and convenient with extras like a washer dryer, air cleaner+ humidifier, and basic utensil sets. Center location for everything we wanted to visit & do

about a book on book shelf”
at this hotel rounge, i ofthen read an English book that introduces about kimono, a thick and heavy one. the book told me many things. i was impressed by a picture of a kimono that reflects what Japan looked like decades ago, once a terrible war attacked this country, and the like... every time the book shows the old Japanese days, i remember my grand mother and her sewing machine. i felt like i could have understood why she made western style dress by herself when many Japanese still wearing kimonos.

i stayed in this hotel several times. this time, my room type was upgraded, and a little kitchen enabled me washing and eating flesh tomatoes, ruby red by having plenty of sun shines, i bought during my early morning walking from a farmer on a ban.

Good location for tourist. New and clean feel. Generous selection of toiletries for top-up available at lobby, especially a selections of foot spa powder soak, were a nice touch. Breakfast menu was repeated daily, adequate with both Japanese and Western selections. Overall, enjoyable stay.

Fantastic Hotel”
Hotel suite was excellent. Rooms was spacious and the bathroom / wet room was excellent. The hotel was on the edge of the city centre, but central to everything. So if you don't mind a short walk or a quick train ride, this hotel was great. The staff were extremely friendly, the room had a washer/dryer which was excellent, but it was all in Japanese. Highly recommend this hotel.
