Beautiful modern design and comfort, in a peaceful setting”
Felt like a peaceful oasis, far away from anything else (though conveniently very close to a train station). Beautiful room, pool area, and restaurant. Restaurant food is excellent, both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast buffet is suitably 5 star. Lots of actually delicious mini bar snacks in the room. Long peaceful beach suitable for morning walks or runs. Will look forward to staying again!

Quiet and beautiful location”
The hotel is a great place to go if you are looking for somewhere quiet. You must have a car to get here and to move around as the hotel is quite isolated. The pool villa was beautiful and the hotel pays much attention to some details like having a fully stocked mini bar with wine and proper glassware. The property is very clean and the staff is very attentive. The downside is the hotel is in need of some upkeep. The tv was very old and did not work at all, blurry images were displayed on all channels, and no Netflix. The bed was not as comfortable as expected for this price bracket. The pillows were old and lumpy. Regardless it is a beautiful location and I enjoyed my stay.

Although this resort is quite old but it's still good. Service is good. They have a welcome pack for your dog; food, toy, bowl, towel etc. Location is nearby the sea, peaceful ambience because it's quite far from the city. Overall is good.

Nice design hotel for private. The hotel is under renovation at some part at the moment we stay. Room is a little old and not well maintained. Not very clean both inside the room and pool. The toilet is not flush and water is not running well. We boosted for 2 nights but finally decided to left the hotel on first day.

X2’s location is peaceful, quiet, and very relaxing. The restaurant has a modest but beautiful view to the shoreline. Since this hotel is dog-friendly, we got to see many cute doggies during breakfast, which is a plus for us. Breakfast was actually pretty good with lots of choices, for an included breakfast. Our room was open, spacious, and has that minimalist feel. Staff was not as professional as they should be. We arrived at 3pm which was an hour after check-in time but the room was not ready until 4:30pm which is ridiculous and absurd. Feedback from staff was the previous guests left on time but there were many rooms to clean and we left to be almost last persons to get the room. We can tell the hotel was short-staffed and did not handle the situation well. Our room was in need of a light renovation, that or heavy duty cleaning. Bathroom cleanliness was far from adequate. Shower tiles had built up stains from who knows how long. Shower faucet – grimy. Retractable cloth hanger (rope) had mildew and was about to rip apart. Blind rollers were rusty and difficult to open/close. Pool (both private and main) had a lot of little leaves, since trees are right over the water. The whole “be in nature” feel may not be as practical as it sounds. I prefer swimming in clear water without swallowing leaves. We were also bitten by either ticks or fleas during our sleep. As I am writing this review 2 weeks later, I still have marks all over my body. Understandably, this is a dog-friendly hotel, with constant turnover of owners and pets. But the hotel needs to address this issue as some people have severe allergic reactions to these bites. We appreciate the hotel using Dettol to sanitize floors and surfaces, but you might need to add steam, or something to get rid of the fleas hiding in the room. Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing weekend. We recommend this place to anyone looking for serenity and dog-friendliness. Personally, we didn’t think our exp

Staff are friendly and the beach is pretty. However, the property is a bit dilapidated. The wooden pathways undulate underfoot, wood in rooms is peeling and delaminating. Food is just average - not what you’d expect for the price. On the positive side, the property has potential to improve under food management.

Boring & old place ”
I drive around 4 hrs from Bkk thru the resort and found nothing only a nice sea, the beach not attractive to us. The room is quite old, the pool at the villa has a lot of leaves and unclear water till I decided not to get in the pool. So we just stay in the room by can't use the pool even we resurve the pool villa. The outside has nothing to do just walk 5-10 mins around the resort, that's it! The breakfast aren't fancy just ok. Staffs are helpful and nice.

Old and poor service ”
The hotel policy is checking in at 3pm and checking out at 11am which is taking advantage the guests so much. We arrived at 3pm but room was not ready til 3.24pm and no compensation from hotel apart from saying sorry. Pool was dirty with plenty of leaves both main pool and pool in our villa. Beach is nice, quiet and clean. Hotel facilities are tear and ware without proper maintenance.

Romantic Hotel, perfect for a couple”
this is a wonderful hotel with a very unique architecture. my wife and i were looking for a place to have a time only for us. x2 kui buri is perfect to relax. we chose the room with the beach view and it was amazing. the hotel is very calm and quiet, ideal for a couple in honeymoons. every day we used to have a 1 or 2 hours walking on the beach that is very clean with crystal water and completely empty. one night, after we arrived from the dinner, we had an inconvenient in our room. the hotel staff immediately transferred us to an upgraded room and no extra charge for that. we really recommend this hotel.
