Best Service Ever!”

I simply can't stress enough how welcomed I felt by the wonderful staff members of Town Hall Apartments. They were all extremely friendly and attentive, and always making sure that I felt comfortable during my stay. In particular, their high level of understanding and flexibility, and how they would go beyond their reach to make you feel like a distinguished guest is extremely commendable. I got a studio apartment, which was clean and spacious, came with all basic necessities, had an enormous balcony and high speed wifi. From the airport, a quick ride on the bus and a train ride brings you straight to the doorstep of the apartment. As the hotel is located in an alley, you should Google map the exact image of the main entrance and jot down the exact street name and unit number. Then walk through the alley and take note of the unit numbers - easy! For the amount of money I paid, I don't believe I would be able to get the same quality of service and accommodation anywhere else in Budapest. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! P.S. The reception room on the 1st floor provides free rental of movies and books!

Town Hall Apartments are an excellent base for your stay in Budapest. They are located close to bars and restaurants and are within easy walking distance of all the major attractions. The apartments are well equipped with everything you need, e.g washing machine, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, iron and T.V. I would highly recommend these apartments and if I ever go back to this wonderful city I would certainly book them again.

After making a long research on hotels and apartments in Budapest, we decided to give the Town Hall Apartments a try mainly because of good reviews and fair price. Also an apartment sounded more comfortable for a week stay with our 11 months old toddler. I confirmed with the THA a couple of days in advance prior our arrival that a baby cot and a high chair will be provided, as well as inner yard appartment - and was promised by email (Zsofia) that everything will be arranged. However, as we arrived quite late in the evening with a very tired toddler, got the key, checked the apartment, no baby cot or high chair either was there. The male staff was not very active either and blamed his colleagues on the lack of information. After I told him that I have an printed email with me with the confirmation, he started to look for these highly important things for us. After some time, we got the baby cot, first a broken one, then we got the high chair and a new baby cot, which he could not assemble at all. All in all, not a very good start for a trip. After we all got to bed, we could not sleep because somebody had a party on the balcony next to our apartment. Again, I went to the office and asked the guy to do something about it and also asked about the house rules. He explained some crap that I am the first one ever to complain about the noise in the inner yard apartment - and made no actions at all. Luckily at the same time a security guard arrived and he asked him if the guy knows something about the noise (the male staff could not hear it, because his office is on the street level). The security guard was informed about the noise from several neighbours and he was on his way to the apartment to stop the party. All in all, my point is that the male staff sucked a lot, as he is so lazy he is just not willing to do anything without asking. Fortunately, I did not see him anymore at the office after the first night. And now about the apartment. The building is very nice

Short stay town hall apartments ”

Our stay at the town hall apartments was lovely and comfortable. Easy access to everywhere in the city. Apartments were lovely and warm and had everything we needed for our short stay.

We arrived early and was unable to check in, but the reception staff gave us suggestions as to what we could do in the wet weather and we could lounge out and have a coffee before we stepped out to wander in the rain. We were also promised that they will endeavour to prepare our room by 1230 h so we could check in earlier (check in time was at 2 pm). This was very much appreciated. The apartment is secure as a code is required for access through the main door. There is an elevator so no need to worry if you have large luggage to contend with. Once we were in the apartment, we were happy to find a clean and large place. There was even a walk in closet! The balcony was spacious and had lovely views of the city. There was free wifi provided and it was fast and reliable. We were within walking distance to the Basilika and the Danube (5-10 mins walk at a leisurely pace). The main drawback was that there was a restaurant/bar downstairs and the noise that came with it. We closed the window as it was fall but in summer I'm not sure if it would be too hot in summer. In summary I would not hesitate to recommend this place to others.

stayed here for 3 nights. Had slight difficulty locating the lobby and office at first, but just had to ask around a little to find it. The apartment was spacious, clean and well-equipped. The one I got was facing the inner courtyard, so I did not have the noise problem as mentioned in other reviews. The location was good, rather close to the Andrássy út and Deák Ferenc Square metro stop. There's also a lot of restaurants and bars around. Overall a very good stay.

Not for those who want to sleep at night!”

We were given a poor standard apartment - dirty floor, walls chipped and marked , tiny master bedroom - no room even for bedside table or to get in and out of bed on both sides -although it was equipped with washing machine and dishwasher. On complaining the next day we were moved to a much better apartment . The apartments are located in the middle of the nightlife area and within walking distance lots of cafés and bars and places of interest BUT the noise level was horrendous particularly at night with revellers shouting and screaming all night long. As a mature couple we would not recommend these apartments but young fun seekers may well enjoy staying here.
