It's really worth my money staying 3 nights here. Location is quite far from the centre of (Ubud Market), but I enjoy the morning walk which took about 20-30 minutes. Night time night be the tricky part, try to reach back to the hotel before dark or just bring along a torch light with you. Will consider to come back and stay here again.

Good hostel for solo travellers”
The room was clean and staff was nice. The bunk bed was stable, unlike wobbly one in ordinal hostels. The staff do the beds every day to keep them clean. Toilet seemed dirty in first sight, but it was scorch, not a dirt. One day I put a bill on the bed just by mistake but staff didn't take it. The place was a bit far from touristy avenue - 15 minutes away on foot. Sometimes it may causes a trouble if some of your buddies are grumpy and don't like walking. You might be better rent a motorbike. Though the impression depends on the roomies as every hostel goes, I got some fond memories.

Very pleasant. Great place to relax and chill out or do some organised tours. Walking distance to town but felt like staying in the country. Surrounded by rice fields, although if want views ask for a top room.Clean room, helpful and polite staff. Also a good inexpensive gym just 50m down the road was a bonus.

Friendly and cheap but too far from town”
Room was traditional (wooden windows instead of glass). The bathroom was too dark to see anything even during the day with the light on which was a little weird. The walk to the town centre where the shops are is a sweaty 15 mins BUT the staff will take you there for free on the back of a bike. Getting back will cost you around $3US after haggling with a taxi. Good but not convenient.

BIZARRE, BIZARRE, BIZARRE!! Warning to anyone staying in the dormitory.”
If your belongings go missing be prepared to be met with the most bizarre behavior and be short of being treated like a criminal by the owners??? I know it sounds crazy but this is exactly what happened. We booked 2 beds in a dorm and what followed was really totally crazy!! I had left my shoes outside the dorm which is quite normal in Bali, there was no one else in the dorm just us and some workers cleaning the grounds. Next thing I go outside and my shoes are gone. Naturally I approach the owner because we had just checked in and the next thing something goes missing and their are no locks on the safety boxes in the dorm. Well the owner starts telling me that it's karma that my shoes are gone??? and then starts to freak out telling us basically that it's not his issue, followed by asking us the leave his guesthouse?? It was beyond bizarre, his wife goes nuts looking through our gear for my shoes?? Couple of hours later my shoes mysteriously appear. In short, weird experience!!

My short visit in Umu Kutuh was purely amazing. The staff was incredable and so helpful! The food in the restaurant was also really good and affordable. I will definitely come back! The staff even kept my suitcase that would be picked up by Dhl, they arranged my trip from Ubud to Nusa Penida for a really good price and the list goes on. They were passionate about assisting and doing what they can for their customers. 10/10

Petit coin de paradis pour un prix dérisoire, personnel hyper sympathique, nourriture super bonne et pas cher. Un peu loin du centre mais c’est le prix à payer pour un endroit calme !! Pas l’idéal pour rencontrer du monde mais super pour se reposer et se mettre dans l’ambiance balineaise !

街の中心部、スタッフが親切、WIFIがつながる UMA KUTUH ではなくマタハリのホテルの評価です。 UMA KUTUH に着いた早々何の説明もなしに、「宿はここから離れているからバイクに乗っていく」と別の名前の宿に降ろされて、そのまま置き去りにされました。結局おろされた宿の方に話を聞くと、ダブルブッキングで１日だけここに泊まって明日迎えにきてくれる、とのことでした。しかし翌日になっても、部屋はないから予約していた３日間別の宿に宿泊することなった。UMAKUTUHの滞在を楽しみにしていたので、せめて説明をしてほしかったです。

部屋が広くて快適でした。 場所はメイン通りより少し歩くので、夜は大変怖いです。 そのため私は暗くなる前に宿に帰るようにしていました。 部屋にはテレビがありましたが、映りが悪く見ることは出来ませんでした。 とても静かに滞在できるところでした。

昔ながらのウブドのロスメンです。二階の部屋からは田んぼが見渡せます。 夜は本当に静かでした。 ウブドの中心部からは少しありますが、歩いて行ける距離です。 バイクが乗れるとより楽しめると思います。宿に併設して雑貨屋があるので便利でした。 日本のコンセントのプラグを忘れていたのですが、ちゃんととっておいてくれていました。
