A great place for backpackers or travellers with light luggages. Real fireplace, and delicious breakfast served with a fee. Ordered cheese and bacon toast and would love to have another round. Room was basic and pleasant. No headboard n wall was rough. Everything esle is all good.

Very good travel experience”
The kitchen and lounge are great, warm and comfortable with good lighting. It's also very convenient for cooking with complete utensils. I had real interactions with the lovely staff and other guests, and became friends. I'm very happy! The beds are private, secure, clean and comfortable. If I have the chance to visit Sapporo again, I will definitely stay here again. 🥰

A nice experience of hostel in Sapporo. Untapped has clean/cozy space and good surroundings (The location is nearby Hokkaido University, so you can see lots of greens and get a quiet stay at night.) Enough amenities and information for any traveler, friendly service. Staffs can help you carry luggage since there is no elevator, but please enjoy the good sense of interior and warm atmosphere of an old renovated building! Especially if you would like to have a deep trip in Hokkaido or know more about Sapporo, here should be your best choice.:) 第二次住宿untapped，一樣是很好的體驗，是值得再訪的旅館。 從札幌站轉乘地下鐵南北線，往北的方向兩站距離，旅館也是出口一分鐘距離而已。鄰近北海道大學，因為不在鬧區晚上挺安靜的。整體內部裝潢為木質結構，充滿設計感但不失溫度。 進駐一樓的餐廳是札幌20多年的和洋創作料理HARUYA，老闆娘的手藝不在話下，旅行或工作一整天下來真的很適合就待在旅館休息，享用溫暖的美食。帶杯咖啡或茶（現煮或自助式都有）在二樓的公共空間也能賴上一整天，另外有小廚房和冰箱自由使用。 員工不多但服務周到親切，沒有電梯稍為不便了些，但他們會主動幫忙搬行李（做到這點的hostel/guesthouse已經很少了）。有機會和他們聊聊天，還能了解不少北海道的知識，當然觀光資訊也不缺囉。 衛浴設備也很乾淨，白天開始就看到員工上上下下親自打掃，基本盥洗用品也都準備齊全。可以洗衣/烘衣（只是時間較長一些），也有租車或car-sharing的服務。 一個人或和朋友一起來北海道的話，若預算有限是很推薦的住宿選擇。:)

Excellent staff and location”
This hostel is one of tbe best i've stayed so far. We stayed for 4 nights and all the staff are excellent without exception. The hostel is almost.in front of exit 2 of Kita junachi jo subway which makes it very accesible to all locations you"ll visit. However. as in.almost all hostels, no lift is available and that will prove difficult for those with heavy.luggages just like us, as the group room is located on the 5th floor. Also, bring towels if you do not want to pay extra. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel since this is an excellent base for exploring Sapporo.

This is the best hostel/guesthouse I've ever experienced in Japan!”
**The owners of the hostel were very hospital and nice! I wanted to go somewhere far and hard to go by public transportation, but one of the owners took time to check for me. I was so thankful! Thank you! <3 **The sleeping space is very spacious and comfortable. It has a light bulb, a socket and a hanger in the sleeping space. **The bathroom is clean and spacious. It has shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The greatest thing is that it has TOTO washlet!!! (Very few hostels have it.) I love it! <3 I will definitely choose to live in this hostel next time I visit Sapporo!

Slept very well in the female dorm, chatted with fellow travellers in lounge, great restaurant - could eat there the whole week if i had more time. V accessible - 2 subway stops from sapporo. I preferred this hostel to ten to ten. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom child get busy depending on the time but no issue waiting a little. Overall i would highly recommend. One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in

Stay with Untapped. You will love it”
I am a traveller who likes to try out different accommodation during a trip. Among the other Airbnbs and guesthouse that I've stayed at, this was the most memorable and my favourite during my visit to Hokkaido. I got the private room, which had a very nice industrial/minimal interior and a VERY COMFY bed. I had the best two night's of sleep here. The common areas were clean as well. I think Jin, the owner really did a great job doing up the interiors, it has a very chic yet chill and cozy ambience to it. He was very approachable and open to sharing information about places to visit, their culture, etc. Wifi was great. The food at the restaurant on the first level was oiishi. They change their menu everyday and has a very relaxing atmosphere. I enjoyed hanging out at the common area chatting with other travellers and Jin himself. Thank you for your warm hospitality! I highly recommend Untapped. I will be back soon!

Hip Hostel with an Industrial and Organic Vibe”
My partner and I stayed at the Untapped Hostel over New Years for 4 nights in a private double room. This was my first hostel experience and it was pleasantly surprising and it reminded me of glamping. The room was on the 5th floor so lugging suitcases up was fun luckily the staff helped. They were super friendly and helpful. Yoshie assisted in booking a table at Jewels Restaurant at Mt Moiwa before we even arrived. Women's shower was clean and toilets were too. The kitchen had everything you needed and the common area was comfortable. The room next to ours was occupied by three separate groups and you could hear people moving (dragging) the furniture across the floor. The building had little sound proofing but other than that everything was perfect. It's a relaxed environment that is industrial yet organic at the same time. Two thumbs up!

The place is very aesthetic and clean. The bed I was given was spacious and very clean. There are hangers and a towel rod and sample place for you to put your things. It's two stations away from Sapporo which may be good if you are looking for a more local feel of Sapporo. However, there is no elevator, so if you are carrying a luggage, you have to carry it up 3 flights for ladies and 4-5 flights for men.

It's a cozy hostel with friendly staffs whom always bring smiles and passionate. the location is two stops from Sapporo station, not far to the city. The bed is comfortable but the sound insulation is not good, you can hear the other guests snoring clearly and only a few space to put luggage, but I like the lobby and common space, quite clean and good for relaxing.

staff are so far very nice, friendly n helpful to me when I checked in on 1st day. as this was my 1st time in Sapporo, I was so touched as staff are so sincere to me. also one staff helped me take my luggage upstairs n I so touched with great thanks. also it can remain clean n tidy even there are many people staying in hostel. Beyond exceptional”
Just stay there, it's awesome. The owner and staff are super-friendly, the place is really clean and nice, has a great style and is located in an excellent spot (since it's right outside the subway entrance, there's less walking to get to Sapporo Station than if you stay at one of the closest hotels to the Station, and those are way more expensive!).

Love the deco here. Wifi connection was excellent. Tho not in the heart of Sapporo, it's only literally 1min walk away from a subway station so getting around is easy if you don't mind the cost.

Pros: -Just a block to subway -cheap and nice hostel -big capsule -clean & comfy bed -small kitchen & dining room -free coffee 24h Cons: -no lock at the female dorm door, heard the guy talk to the girl next to my capsule twice after midnight. -rental towel -toilet inside the female dorm made noise in the nighttime -only one shower on the 2nd floor available till 23:00 -dint use the shower on the 4th floor cos it’s mix dorm. -super narrow stair, hard to drag my suitcase up to the 3rd floor.

staffs are simply the most brilliant people ever. they helped me a lot and also recommend good places to have dinner! don't mention the room, it is very neat, comfortable. there is also a cozy living room you can take a rest. the cooks there are just loving people and the food is great! the hostel is incredibly close to the subway! so don't worry and hesitate to stay here!

The staff were really nice to me. I stored my luggage over at their hostel before I left to travel Hokkaido, when I came back my luggage was by my bed. The coffee in the morning is amazing as well. There is a lovely kitchen that you can make stuff in. The 4th floor shower is amazing. But do note that there is no elevator in the building.
