Hot spring spa, gym, good buffet breakfast”
The best part is enjoy the Hot sprong spa right after a whole day of travelling. There is sauna and jacuzzi spouts inside the hot bath pool. Very good to massage my painful tailbone and back. The hotel is very near to many bus stops and train stations. We managed to take bus from bus stop in front of hotel to Kyoto station and Nikishi market. Walking distance to OMiya station which will brings you to Arashiyama. 15min. Walk to Karamuchi station if u plan to go Universal city station. The buffet breakfast has a good assortment of Jap.and western food. I like the mixed rice with assortment of Japanese.dishes which includes Good chawamushi, onsen eggs, steam veggies, sweet potatoes, good spread of salad greens, puddings,mochi,jelly ,a good choice of healthy fruit juice :apple,orange,and tea: Rooibos, oolong,green tea,strawberry tea etc.. There are many good restaurants and convenience stores. Highly recommended

Very comfortable hotel with a nice onsen, good location. The staff was also extremely helpful. A great plus is also the whole day free coffee/tea next to reception.

Most Kyoto hotels don’t have a nice public bath.”
This is a chain of 3 similar hotels with onsens. The Gojo property has the onsen on th 9th floor with view. So a bit better. But the Shijo location is slightly better. And I liked my room more because it had a nice view of Kyoto Tower!

Incredible “deal” with onsen bath in downtown Kyoto ”
I’m lucky I found this chain of 3 Urban hotels on Horikawa Shijo, Sanjo and Gojo. Shijo is the most convenient, but all 3 are best values at December prices.

For a 2-day getaway from the daily grind, spa time definitely played a great role in this trip. Supportive staff”
Staff were available to help us with holding our bags, laundry access (other guests hadn’t removed clothes from machine). Also, the onsen-style bath was clean and refreshing, with sauna and hot pool. Breakfast was also plentiful with a good balance between western and Japanese food.

Exceeded expectations! Very clean, spacious, complimentary breakfast, comfortable beds and amazing bathroom/shower. Bus was right in front of hotel and 7/11 was practically next door! Will be back next time!

It's a station for various railways (大宮站/四條大宮站), and the most convenience is the bus stop nearby the hotel. 四條堀川stop has lots of bus lines passing through, so very easy to catch the bus around 烏丸and 河源町！ Nice to have 浴場as can relax after a long walking day. Very nice staff :)

Walking Distance to Shopping District”
About 10 walk from subway, like the spa which is great after a day walk. Need to pay to utilise Gym so I didn't bother. Room is kind of dusty probably due to non usage during covid.

A new hotel with good price. The breakfast is excellent with a lot of choices. The staff at restaurant is attentive to details. It offers free drink (hot water, green tea and water with lemon for detox) at the lobby. The down side is that It is a bit far to walk to kawaramachi.

Fairly new hotel. Room was nice although you could see through the bathroom doors into the toilet so no privacy at all. This was less than ideal travelling with a friend.
