Great Value for Money”
The location is very convenient. Near the highway, so you can get easy access from/to the airport or if you want to travel away from the city (by car). The location also at the highly developed area of the city so you can get various kind of eatery and other necessity. The room is quite comfortable although I'm not a big fan of the layout setting for the bathroom. I think it's not the best for family travelers, especially the one with toddler. One thing that really bothers me (if you travel with your car) is the visual for the signage at the parking lot or lack thereof. The signage itself is rather confusing, especially the "EXIT" sign, it is very poor. One interesting fact about this hotel is that this Hotel could be considered as "Local Brand". So if you are interested for something fancy but a bit "different" from the usual names, this (Hotel) could be the one for you.

Clean and helpful staff.”
The room is very clean, the carpet is soft, and the sofa feels clean too. The size is just right for the three of us, and the view is great, we can see Surabaya city from above and enjoy the sunrise and sunset. The bathroom is clean and comfortable, but the towels seem not very clean for a 5-star hotel. Unfortunately, the fridge is not cold enough. The amenities are standard, especially during our 2-night stay, we only got 1 bar of hand soap and 1 shower cap. The service is friendly. The gym facilities are also comfortable, always cleaned after each use, and the equipment is new. It's just a pity that the elevator still requires manual operation and there is a health and safety notice inside. The breakfast menu is not very varied and there aren't many options, but the coffee is great. During our 2-night stay, the breakfast menu was the same every morning. We felt safe because the number of visitors is limited, so it's not too crowded and we can maintain social distancing. What made me happy was that I received a birthday cake during check-out because it happened to be my birthday. Thank you Vasa, I hope you will continue to improve.

The room is amazing, great for couple travellers, they keep each room clean and sanitized. After clean and sanitized the room, they put seal on each door rooms. Breakfast is great and all the staff is kind. The only problem is the bathroom floor is made from marbles and it was so cold to walk on the marbles when You going to the bathroom.

Everything about Vasa hotel was wonderful. The breakfast was fantastic, the room was cozy - nice-clean-nice, the staff are well trained and warm, the location is convenient, the environs was positive - makes you feel to stay longer. I highly recommend this hotel when in Surabaya. It’s the best in Indonesia.

Special thanks to Audrey for her wonderful assistance for very smooth check in and out. The room is great, love the warm and fully automatic toilet seat. The only downside is the breakfast, the taste is average and not too much variety.
