hotel is far from main road and its really tough to get taxi there..if you call taxi to the hotel, they will charge you up to $5 dolar extra. the road its so scary as the hotel located at the hill..dago is exclusive place for rich people. please make sure you mention correctly the name villa78dago, tell the driver, turn right on bali seafood or the taxi driver will send you to no. 78, bukit pakar timur, dago, almost the same address but different place..or the best way is call first and get direction. everything is clean n view is magnificent at night..very cold at night...quiet and peacefully..

Quality villa with self service and privacy”
don't expect hotel service but for the one that like to manage themselves independently this villa is the best place to stay. the quality of architecture, interior and picturesque highland of bandung is excellent. with less involvement of staff there make us feel at home and feel a high privacy. it is managed professionally and clean. the first time you enter the room, you can smell the fragrance bed cover. excellent and correct!

Exciting Villa with fascinating view ”
the room was very clean even we cannot find the dust in the edge of room, no breakfast in this villa, only complementary continental breakfast which is bread with jam and butter also coffee and tea. the view is very nice with bandung city light in down there, the park and trees also very exciting, you can find avocado, orange bali, and others. dont expect this hotel for the facilities, because actually this is only villa but the owner change it become small hotel with 5 rooms only.

the hotel is located in the valley so it has a great views of the city of Bandung. Nice, clean and quiet also with plenty of trees surrounding the hotel...despite the very small bathroom, the room offers a comfy large bed and the view from the bed is Bandung city..

lovely villa”
very nice villa that has a wooden charm in its rooms. the rooms were big and clean. away from the chaos of bandung city, a great place to rest and relax with your partner. the road leading to this villa is a little scary, but it's worth the journey. not recommended for solo traveller as it can get very boring and best with own transport cause it is too far away from the town centre. nevertheless, a great place. definitely will return to this villa when in bandung if have own transportation

Cabin in the mountains”
If you like the fresh mountain cold air, then you'll love the place. The villa has a nice artistic wooden 'cabin' style - nice touch an definitely give a different staying experience. It's well maintained and cleaner the most similar villas/hotels. My 4 yo son had fun running around the (rather plain (garden) in the morning. The place is quite far from the center of Bandung, so you may not like the travelling time, but it's a great place to stay and relax

First impression was not quite good because the location was not easy to be accessed. But When Arrived at the Hotel..., wow that is an amazing place. Such a Peaceful place, luxurious furnitures, and Superb View from the balcony (you can see the entire Bandung city from there, at the night you can have a amazing view also). Very Comfortable Room with Mountain View”
I was check in at this hotel on Monday, since it's working day and small hotel (villa) the guest was only me & my husband. Very quiet environment and we like it. Actually this villa has no pool. Quite difficult to reach this hotel since there is public transportation. You just can go there with taxi, rent an 'ojek' or rent a motorcycle which can deliver to the hotel. These area has a great air and weather. There is not AC in these hotel since Bandung has cold weather all year long.

Kinda worth”
The location is not too far from Bandung City, but the road is a little bit extreme. Suggesting using Manual Transmission car :D Quite the night and lovely morning. No sound of horn honks, vehicle engines, etc. A great place for a little escape.

Lovely Villa...”
this villa is converted from residence after renovation turn up to villa resort. all the rooms very big and cozy. is very suitable for company on retreat is very suitable location. the villa extremely was design by jati teak wood interior decoration, the atmosphere feeling was totally different as where we usually stay in high storey hotel. it was back to natural resource environment earth. the worst and dis-pointed to serve in breakfast. only provide butter and jam with toast that's all. no more request further than that. if management looks into this matter and consider to upgrade breakfast meal it could be more perfect way.

Nice villa in Dago Pakar with Wood Architecture”
Location is 3 minutes from The Valley or Sierra Restaurant. At night, The villa has the same view with Sierra & The Valley. The villa is furnished with wood & modern minimalist design, it is very homey. The weather is nice & cool. No air-con in this villa. It will be quite hot in the evening but cold in the night & dawn. You must open your room windows. But dont worry, I didnt find any mosquito at all. There are total 5 rooms in this villa, We stayed in 1 family room (2 king size bed with no view at all) and 2 deluxe room (1 in 2nd floor, 1 in 1st floor - all with great view). All room are very spacious and has their own bathroom. Cleanliness is great! Although it furnished with wood, there are no old wood odor at all. Even though I found some ants near the windows in my family room. But it is still acceptable. Unfortunately, as this is not a hotel, dont expect room service here. I dont know if there is any make up room service here as my room not been make up & towel change in the morning. It will be very messy if I stay more than 2 night. It has The villa provide 'small' breakfast like bread, butter, instant coffee & tea. You should bring your own cup noodle. The villa also provide stove & refrigerator. We are travelling with 2 small children and we have the family room. The room is spacious with 2 big beds. The view from our room is the next door wall but the view from the other side is magnificent, you can see the whole Bandung. It is a bit difficult to find and remember to order breakfast the night before if you want something other than bread.

Big room but toilet very small, no AC (but still cold at night), full wooden house, the bed too. The route to the hotel very very steep.. we came at 12 am, and the staff still welcome us..

One of the best place for solitudeness”
I only stayed for one night with my boyfriend. We were in business trip, and we promised to get back again soon, spending more time maybe 3 or 7 days in a row. The place is nice for us working in our script. It has quiet surroundings and green everywhere, with a landscape view appears in our window. We haven't experienced, TV cable (they have one in each room) or internet. Because we spent our time walking around the village in the morning and talk at night. It was memorable stay for me.

Nice villa with great view of Bandung City ”
Our stay at Villa78 was nice. The staffs was polite, and view from the villa was amazing especially at night. However, if you want to enjoy the view straight from your balcony or the window of your own room, better not to opt for family room. Although it is comfortable and quite huge, (can accommodate 4 persons)the only thing that you can see from your window is a wall of the house next door. Suggestion for the villa owner: It would be much better to install air-conditioner or fan because it can get very hot and humid at certain time in the room.
